I have visited this site 4 times in the last three months. When you arrive on site you are warmly welcomed by the staff. The main reception is based in the family home which gives you a great sense of comfort and shows it is a well run family site. The site is well laid out with very relaxing views. The potted flowers that are presented in wheelbarrows and old fashioned market barrow all around the site are chosen to a high standard and makes you have a sense of being sat at home in your own garden. The site welcomes well behaved dogs and has an excellent dog walk which is very pleasant. This site is also central to many other attractions around this part of Wales one of our popular places to visit is Betsy-Coed as our Newfoundland loves to swim there. The shower and toilet areas are very clean and have a homely clean smell each time you use the facilities. Me and my husband keep going back to this site as we feel so at home and welcomed here. Whilst we were there at the end of June I spoke to the site owner, and said that I would not be able to think of and thing to change on this site as it is perfect. I know that I will certainly be visiting this site again very soon. You always see site owners working from morning till night and are always more than happy to help you if needed A site I feel every one must visit.

Love this site! We stayed there for the second time this year, this time in our caravan. Llanrwst is within easy walking distance and has plenty of pubs and a British Legion - so lots of drinking choice within easy access, but a lovely quiet and peaceful location. If anyone has ever told you that North Wales is unfriendly then please visit Llanrwst - it is about the friendliest place we have ever visited in the UK! Also, not at all touristy, although it has an interesting town trail.
The site is in a lovely setting. The facilities are maybe a little bit dated, but quite adequate and completely clean. There are loads of chickens, ducks and a few geese to feed, a squad of ducks that patrol the campsite every day, sheep dogs and, unsurprisingly, sheep. The owners are very friendly - when we first stayed our tent started to blow down when we were out and they secured it for us.
Also all of the beauty of Snowdonia and the lovely North Wales coast is within easy driving distance. Really couldn't recommend this site highly enough, it is just about perfect.

Just spent 2 glorious days at this site, what a lovely site! All we wanted and more as 1st time campers with 2 young daughters. If you want peace, quiet and beautiful surroundings this site is heaven in Wales. Toilets and showers are basic but spotless. Shops 10mins walk away. If you're looking for cheaper shop than Spar there's a Somerfield just around corner from chip shop down side street. Fantastic walks and drives, can't wait to go back!

We stayed on this site for a long weekend. The site itself is very well kept, very flat pitches, nice and quiet. The owners are very friendly and helpful. However, there are 2 downsides to this site, firstly there is a small stream that runs around part of the park, and not all is fenced off so if you have children this might cause a problem. Secondly, the shower blocks are very well kept and kept clean at all times, but the showers are very dated and small with just curtains and no doors.
Plenty to do in area and not too far from local places, within walking distance into llanwrst.
Overall had a great stay.

Great site, really well laid out. Toilets were spotless. One night (possible Saturday) I noticed that they were cleaning the toilets at 11pm. The van field and tent field were fully booked being a bank holiday, but you never felt cramped. The site is a real credit to the owners and the wandering geese and hens were loved by our two young children. Can't wait to go again. We had mains, tv and water right outside the van on well positioned posts. Only 5 min walk to llanwrst and 5 mins in the car to bewts y coed.

What a lovely campsite, really nicely set out. Toilets nice and clean and smelled nice too (because some smell awful). No park for the kids but that did not bother mine, there's a field for them to play in and my two children were happy. What lovely couple who own it, very friendly and helpful. we would definitely be going back

Visited this site three times now and would certainly recommend a visit. The site is nice and level in peaceful surroundings. The area for tents is great. The area for tents without hookup is good, being right next to an open field so you can arrange your tent to open onto this, giving some privacy. Facilities are great, toilet blocks clean and serviceable. Dog walk is also very good. Betws is only minutes down the road. Chippie, Chinese and Indian local if you don't want to cook. Local spar open to 11pm.

Lovely site and a glorious setting, appears to be quite rural when you are on site but it is surrounded by houses, a school, a main road and an industrial unit or two but don't let this put you off as there is very little noise and it is very peaceful. This is one of the nicest and certainly the prettiest site we have EVER visited, lots of planted containers and hanging baskets dotted around. Good sized pitches, good facilities and a well kept site. Handy for Llanwrst with its shops and pubs, well situated for visiting the coast and the Snowdonia National Park and only 4 miles from Betws-y-coed, which is a very attractive little village.
The only downside is the washroom facilities, two sinks for hand washing, no washing machine or drier although there is a launderette nearby.
All in all, a great site and one we will definitely be going back to.

What a truly excellent site. The owners keep the entire site maintained to a standard far beyond anything we have previously experienced. No wonder the site has won so many awards. We took our granddaughter on her first ever camping trip and we could not have chosen a more perfect site. She loved feeding the various farm birds and playing games on the 'games field'. The owners were extremely friendly and approachable throughout our stay. The facilities were always kept spotlessly clean and all needs were catered for. The general 'ambience' of the site really encourages people to respect their surroundings. It goes without saying that we, look forward to returning many times.
