We stayed here for 2 nights and what a lovely little site it is. This was our first experience of camping and everyone was very helpful and friendly. The site was a mass of colour from all the hanging baskets and planters which abounded everywhere. Owners were very friendly as were the chickens and geese which my grandchildren enjoyed feeding. The toilet and shower facilities were very clean. We will definitely go back again.

May 2005 This is the second visit this year & it just gets better. Great site for relaxation, well maintained site which has won many an award. Toilet/shower blocks very clean with ample hot water. Laundery area basic but adequate. Owners friendly & helpful Small working farm at back of site so fresh eggs available & a great alarm clock. Village 10mins away with supermarket, pubs & takeaways. Will go back again soon

August 2004 When we drove up to the site I was very disappointed as I thought I had booked a site in the countryside, and here we were, driving through houses and past a leisure centre to get to the entrance.....but once inside the site, my worries were not founded.
The site had a stream running along one side, so many flowers and plants breaking up the area for campervans and caravans. It was so well screened from the outside world it was easy to think you were in the middle of nowhere! Yes the facilities are dated and judging by the colours (orange and brown) they've been there for a long time. BUT, they were kept very clean at all times. And there is a 3rd shower located opposite the main block. The owners were very friendly. There was a small dog walking area where they could be let off the lead. Also an area for children to play as there are specific rules about children playing ball games around the pitches.
It was within walking distance of the town centre, and only 4 miles from Betys-y-coed (there was a walk but it rained too much for us to try it!). So all in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone who prefers a quieter site to those with loads of extra facilities.
