The first thing you notice when arriving at Bodnant is the amount of flowers there are and not a weed in sight.
The owners seem to spend all their time maintaining the site and what wonderful job they do. We were in the caravan section although it was full it was very quiet.
It was nice to have our own tap and grey waste on the pitch. The showers are clean and the information leaflets very handy.
The walk into town took us about 10 mins and there is a nice riverside walk for the dog.
We would love to have stayed another couple of nights but they were fully booked. There is a small exercise area for the dog

Just back from another fab weekend at this glorious site. So immaculately kept and the flowers in the wheelbarrows and grounds are stunning at this time of year. Site still kept immaculate and the general atmosphere is so relaxing.
The owners have the site down to a fine art. When I first tried to book it was possible it was full but we managed to get a spot in the end and I was so pleased as it was my birthday weekend and I desperately wanted to go there above anywhere else think that says enough in itself!
Only downside I can think of is it would be great to have a little shop there with milk etc (we ran out this morning!) but the walk into town is only 10 mins and 2 mins by car.
Will definitely be going there many times for a while yet!

This is the 3rd time this year we have been back here. We would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants a bit of peace and quite. We choose the site for my kids first camping trip one aged 3 and the other 1.
The camping pitches are very spacious and we didn't feel cramped at all. The camping field drained very easily as we had heavy rain over night but then by morning the field was good.
There is a dog run great for first thing in the morning and last thing at night before bed.
The toilet block was spotless but a little cramped in the shower cubicles (2 for women and 2 for men). There is also a disabled block. We went in August - middle of the school holidays and
Didn't have to queue at all for the toilets or the showers.
Don't be put off by the road, on entering the site is full of pretty displays of flowers it's like entering a another world.
It is part of a small working farm and the children loved feeding the ducks and chickens which roam around the fields looking for left over bits.
The surrounding area is outstanding Llanwrst is about 10 mins walk. A great little town with a great chip shop, Co-Op and a Spar shop that is open till 11pm at night. Plenty of local little shops/
Pubs are great.
We had perfect 5 days here and will be returning next year.
It really is well worth a visit.

I must write this review on this wonderful site, situated just 4 miles from Betws Y Coed. This was our second visit this year and we enjoyed it just as much as our first visit. The owners are very friendly and made us feel very welcome and once we setup we really felt at home and nicely relaxed, the site is superbly maintained and you can tell the owners have a true passion on high standards, the site caters for canavaners and campers and is ideally suited for all age groups. The only negative comment would be the toilet block, although immaculately clean they were a little dated in colour and design. The site is less than a mile from the village of Llanwrst and is very rural with ducks and hens wondering around, popping in at meal times etc. If you enjoy a smaller more personal site then this would be recommended without doubt and therefore well worth a visit.

Just back from Bodnant having spent a really enjoyable week in Llanrwst.
This is a smashing little site that is really well kept - echo all of the comments about the floral displays which are magnificent. The owners Ermin & Glyn are extremely friendly and helpful - we had visitors for a couple of days which they dealt with with no fuss or difficulty.
Llanwryst is only 10 minutes walk and has all that you need to make yourself comfortable. Some good dining - Indian and Thai restaurants are both recommended. Also a range of places to get a drink - Eagle Hotel is the most upmarket, but we found the British legion Club to be the best watering hole. Staff and clientèle couldn't have been friendlier.
Lots to do in the surrounding area Betws Y Coed is just four miles away, Llanberis (and Snowdon) about 20 and Anglesey around 30. If you get to Anglesey a trip to Red Wharf Bay is recommended - a lovely piece of coastline.
Only minor negative has been flagged by some other reviewers. The main toilet block is a little cramped and decor somewhat tired. Having said that, the facilities are spotlessly clean. And to further offset that, the newer disabled block offers first class (and equally clean) facilities.
Very much recommend this site to others.

Third time at this fantastic camp site and it is such a wonderful site very clean and tidy with good notices telling you all about the site and area. The people who run the site are so friendly and make your stay even more enjoyable.
The village is so close with good pubs, and food to fill anyones needs. Will be calling again and really cannot fault it one bit. Very close to Snowdons range of mountains and the Glyders and carneddau.
Bus service runs on the half hour. Plenty to do in near by betws y coed for the walker who likes to chill. Plenty of waterfalls near as well.

Just had another 2 nights at Bodnant and still as good as ever, felt like we'd been there for days, it's so peaceful. Site absolutely fab and lovely and clean, owners very friendly. Although doesn't affect us they have recently worked really hard on getting disabled access to showers/toilets - don't find this everywhere unfortunately. For a friendly atmosphere can recommend the pub next to the Spar shop - Pen Y Bryn - made to feel very welcome and they have a gorgeous dog called Sean (and I'm frightened of dogs!). To anyone, gotta be worth a visit, it's such a lovely site- hope you go and enjoy!

Just come back from a wonderful 2 nights at this site. I would agree with the last review regarding the showers but it wouldn't put me off going again. It was a clean, spotless site I felt like we were parked in a park. The scenery is amazing to wake up to and Lanrwst is a lovely quaint village within easy walking distance with an outstanding curry restaurant. I would certainly not hesitate to use this caravan park again when visiting the area.

We spent 2 lovely nights at Bodnant Caravan Park. The caravan section was a medium size circular routed field and the tent field (where we pitched) was a small cul-de-sac field but great for us as we have a toddler so we could keep an eye on her wanderings!
The site was very well kept - clean, tidy and pretty with pots of flowers. The toilet/shower blocks only had 3 showers and could do with renovating as they are of a 1970's stylee, but apart from that, they were fully functional and clean.
Only one problem that I could see with the ladies showers in the main block was that there was a shower curtain then a curtain separating you from the toilets for a little changing area. Not great if you have a small child to shower and keep control of if you want to shower too. (I think the smaller block had one more suitable shower).
The pitch was large and the hook ups had more gubbings than we were able to use. Very useful to have the TV aerial, though we didn't have the extension cable to be able to use it.
There is a small field for children to play on and use the balls. And also a short dog walk is on site.
The chickens and ducks on the site are free to roam but didn't get in the way. We were aware that the birds were there, but they certainly weren't noisy enough to wake us up! We did notice the noise of the main road, but again not enough to bother us.
The location of the site was great for us, and the tea shop in Llanrwst is a must to visit!
We loved this site and will definitely be visiting again, and have already recommended the site to friends and family.
