We booked a non-electric pitch by the estuary over the phone but when we got there we weren't booked in. Luckily another pitch was available but in the busier part with electric/seasonal caravan pitches.
Push button showers were OK and clean toilets.
About 30 mins walk to Seaton. Nice little place with pebble beach, 3 charity shops and a couple of fish shops (check opening times as they tend to close for a couple of hours in the afternoon).
2 pubs walking distance from site which we didn't use. To be honest site too big and commercial for us and didn't think it was worth the money.
Walked to lyme regis along coastal path through woodland (quite hilly/ steps) took about 2 3/4 hours, and caught bus back.
Beer is walking distance along coastal path (again some steep hills) which took around 1. 5 hours.

We visited again this year. We love this site it has such a great relaxing atmosphere.
They have all the facilities you need toilets, showers, EHU, laundry, dishwash area all very well kept and clean. They have a little shop for essentials.
Dogs are welcome and there is a large exercise field for them.
The pitches are well drained and pretty level. It is a level walk along the estuary into Seaton which takes about 20-30 mins and very pretty.
There is a bus from Axmouth every two hours. One way goes to Lyme Regis and the other way goes to Seaton where you can change buses for many other towns or villages.
There a two nice pubs in Axmouth which serve food.
The only negative I would say about the site is the entrance into the site is quite a tight turn. Not too difficult if taken with care, but access is only now allowed from the Seaton side which is a better angle.
Saying that the site has been there for decades and people have managed perfectly well.

What a lovely find.
The views are stunning over the river watching the tram in the distance.
Facilities are so clean, dated but excellent.
Staff so friendly.
Pub just next door.
Entrance to the site quite tight.
Will definitely return.

First visit to site but definitely won’t be our last
Staff on site very helpful and friendly.
Shower block clean and location of site is great for us who prefer to walk rather than move the motorhome once set up.
Only negative is very narrow to enter site so go careful 🙈

Very nice campsite, almost level, plenty of space when we stayed. Good site location, and view next to the Estuary.
Facilities were clean and reasonably modern.
The only picky criticism I’d make is the Elson point which has the hose draped over the bowl, which, in my opinion, would get splash back from other users and I would therefore rather not have had to touch it.
But really enjoyed our stay at the site, and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
