Like an oasis in the middle of Nottingham.
Plenty of space next to the fishing lakes.
Lots of wildlife.
One thing, watch underfoot for dog dirt.
Fresh eggs available sometimes too.

Nice site with basic facilities.
Friendly hosts in the farm house, not clear how you contact them when you arrive but knocking on the farmhouse door worked.
In the middle of an industrial estate but a nice walk if you head left out of the main entrance, with open fields

After a very warm welcome back from Vic, Cheryl, and Shane (and Buddy & Ace!)
We found the site to still be scrupulously clean and well managed :)
The location is spot on if you're planning trips into Nottingham city centre, with ample buses and trams to get you there.

A good stopover location. Clean facilities.
Nice spot alongside a large duck pond.
You are near industrial estates and can hear the main road but all in all met my needs just fine.

Good site facilities are very clean.
Very friendly when arrived good level pitch, very quiet site even though it is next to an industrial estate.
Would stay here again.

A small site with a small fishing lake.
A friendly dog called Ace who has free range to roam on site, as it is his home. Problem is the owners do not pick up his poo. We picked up 2 during our stay which were close to our van. They pick up the goose poo on but seem unconcerned about the dog mess.
9/10 for facilities which were spotlessly clean.
One shower 2 ladies and 2 men’s toilets although only one of each open due to covid restrictions. Plenty of hot water in the shower. No hot water in toilet sink or washing up sink. We had to keep boiling the kettle to wash up.
All in all ok for a one night stop over as only 3 miles from M1.

A lovely site with good facilities and easy to find. Friendly and helpful owners greeted us upon arrival and gave directions to the supermarket.
The toilets and shower were clean and well looked after. Washing up facilities were very useful. Close by was an Aldi supermarket and a number of takeaways (we didn't use the takeaways so cannot comment on the standard of food).
Nottingham centre is a 20min tram ride away and the tram station is a 30min walk from the campsite. There is parking at the tram station.
It was very easy to pay the camping fees via Paypal. The location of the site in an industrial area did mean there was some noise on Monday morning from lorries. These were not too early and can't be helped by the site owners. Two very friendly dogs on site.

We always love this site. So peaceful and out of the way but very near town.
The owners are hands on, and fresh eggs available
Showers and toilets well kept. No complaints

Used a drive away inflatable awning on this visit fitted to the side of our vehicle. The site is geographically perfect for us visiting family, always clean and tidy with great hygienic precautions in place.
I was charged extra for the awning on top of the site fee which did not sit well as it is just a tent that also connects to the vehicle!
The main problems are twofold; Close proximity to a large and noisy 24/7 Industrial estate and the owners young dog was a pest around the site running about the pitches.
The site itself is good with EHU, CDP, Water and level. It's geographically handy for supermarkets, fuel, dog walking and transport links with it's own fishing lake.
