We have stayed at this site 3 times now. The first visit was a 2 night stay, then we have had 2 one night stop overs. On our first visit we had problems finding it, as it is down a very narrow lane, but once we had found it we were truly amazed by it. Even thought it is in the middle of a trading estate, you wouldn't think so. It is so peaceful and private.
The on site facilities are second to none. You have separate gents and ladies toilets, plus shower room, all are beautifully kept and clean. There is also an undercover pot washing area, including a fridge / freezer for the use of campers, again beautifully kept and clean.
The owners are very friendly and helpful, and actually took the time to show us around on our first visit, and treat us like old friends on subsequent visits.
For a CL site this one has got to be the best we have stayed at, and without hesitation, we would stay there again.

Just returned from a weeks camping at this site. What a find. This site, Vic & Cheryl the owners and of course patch the dog, made for one of the best camping holidays we have ever had.
Vic met us on arrival, gave a grand tour of the site, it's facilities and showed us to our pitch, as we were there to fish, he kindly moved us to a pitch directly next to the lake, good fishing was had through the week.
The facilities on site, pot wash room with a fridge freezer, ladies and gents ablutions and a shower room, all were beyond anything seen at a camp site before, spotlessly clean, even though the cleaner hadn't been in yet.
Vic and Cheryl walked around the site and spoke with the campers most evenings, their commitment and attention to detail was beyong anything experienced in the past.
With it's unusual location (back of a trading estate), although once on site it was almost like being in the country, shielded by trees and fields, yet just minutes from local shops and the main roads made for a wonderful time.
This is a true gem of a site, and one that we will definitely be returning to in the future. It is not often you get a fantastic site with brilliant owners, but Vic and Cheryl have pulled off the impossible, all credit to them.

Visited in our motor home and stayed for 2 nights with electric hook up and wished we could have stayed longer. Had a bit of trouble finding the site but once there what a surprise!
We received a guided tour on arrival and my partner was shown around the fishing ponds. The site facilities were second to none and the owner was very pleasant and helpful. It was very difficult to believe that we were in the middle of an industrial park, no noise whatsoever.
The pub at the end of the lane was ok and the food too. There was also a chippy and an Aldi which was useful as breakfasts are no longer available on site (as per the web site) we did not take breakfast stuff with us but this did not pose a problem as we were able to stock up from the shop.
The Sunday lunch which was served in the cafe on site was superb and excellent value at £6.50 each (we both had a pudding as well). There is a lovely walk further up the lane with other fishing ponds on route. We will definitely re-visit as soon as we are able. (My partner has never caught as many fish in his life!)

Had a return visit to this site and would like to say the standards are still as high now as they were last year. Didn't have any problems with mud as was stated in other review. One of the best sites in the area
Since we last stayed they have installed tv connections to give better reception and extended the cafe

This is a beautiful oasis of a place, we love it! 2009 was our first year camping since childhood and we spent a lot of weekends trying different places but this is just the best. Its tricky to find the first time and you do wonder where you are going to end up, but when you get there it is so worth it.
The facilities are spotless, the place is never overcrowded, the hosts are great (the whole campsite was invited to Vics birthday do on our first visit)and the fish are plenty! A bonus being you're right next to the lake, which is very lovingly cared for.
Don't miss Sunday lunch, well worth staying on for. In fact on our last visit we stayed on an extra night as the weather was so beautiful and we had the whole place to ourselves. There is a decent pub 20 minutes walk away, supermarkets nearby and ladies the park & ride for tram to Nottingham 5 mins drive.
We will be back very soon, its the perfect place to wind down & relax.

Just returned from this little site for the Easter weekend. We did not know it was C&C CS site until we got there and were not asked to prove membership.
As previously stated approach is a bit worrying but welcome by Vic seems to make amends. All the facilities were spotless despite the mud! Felt the hardstand was a bit ropey, more mud and grass than gravel.
Everyone seemed very friendly and we sampled Cheryls cream tea on Saturday, delicious. Our one criticism would be noise from the neighbouring industrial area, we were woken at 4am on Monday morning by a lorry starting up, so be aware and perhaps pack some ear plugs.
My husband did a bit of fishing on Sunday and caught a 10-11lb carp, amongst others, so he was happy. It is an easy walk to the local Aldi and pub so all in all a good start for a site.

From Coventry it was an hour long trip up the M1 to the site which is about 10mins off the motorway.
I've never been to a C&CC CS site before and this one's going to be hard to beat.
The toilet/shower blocks at Blenheim were brand new and spotlessly clean. A new washing-up cabin opened whilst we were there (bottle of fairy liquid smashed and ribbons cut)
Vic proved to be the perfect host while Cheryl served up some delicious food.
Even over a wet Easter bank holiday the grass site remained hard. I was not on hard standing but still left to return home without a hint of wheel spin!
Easy 40minute walk to Bulwell tram station and a further 19mins into Nottingham town centre. Timetables on site.

Had a fantastic weekend on this site. Very peaceful and secluded when you've got through the industrial estate, you could be a million miles away! Facilities were excellent clean, spacious and luxury for a small CL! Very helpful and friendly owners, who cooked a fantastic Sunday lunch, a great treat to be able to stay for lunch then pack up to go home afterwards and not have to cook when we got back! Used the nearby park and ride into Nottingham and visited DH Laurence's house on Sunday morning - very interesting. We will definitely return.

How fortunate we were to start our new adventure into the Motorhome world by spending our first weekend away at this little site. It was like home from home only better. Yes, you do need to turn a blind eye to the immediate surrounding locality when nearing the campsite. Litter, housing estate, traffic and industrial site all loom before your eyes before actually turning into the tranquil campsite.
Vic and Cheryl were very welcoming and we really appreciated Vic being there to help us learn the ropes. Hooking up, siting and all the other little things that most experienced motorhome owners take for granted have to be learnt by us novices! No question, however daft it might have appeared, was treated with ridicule. We could not have chosen better.
It was a February weekend when we visited and we were the only ones there.Everything was spotless. So clean in fact that we even showered there and never tried out our own bathroom in the van. Although the cafe was not really open through lack of demand I suppose, Cheryl cooked the most amazing Sunday lunch for us. It was enough to feed 30 people never mind two of us.
Although the weather was cold and damp we had a fantastic stay and Dave even caught a reasonable size fish before we left.If every site is half as clean, well run and friendly as this then I think our Motorhome adventures will be long and happy. Well done Vic and Cheryl.

We’ve just spent Christmas at Blenheim Farm (everyone thought we were mad, Christmas in a caravan), but we had a fantastic time. Once we thawed out the pipes we were warm and cosy. Vic, Cheryl family made us very welcome, they are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble.
The site is spotless and when the leaves are on the trees in summer you won’t even realise you are near an industrial estate. The toilets are so clean I felt guilty going in there with my muddy boots.
The Christmas lunch Cheryl cooked was wonderful, I have never seen so much food. So we had to have the Sunday lunch as well, just to make sure it wasn’t a fluke. It wasn’t it was just as good.
Great place to stay to visit the area. A very nice quiet site, and no screaming children to spoil it. We enjoyed it so much we are going back at Easter. My only regret is that as more people find out about this site we will all be fighting for spaces.
Had a bit of a problem finding it as the direction are only from the M1. We came via Grantham A52, and the AA route planner took us into the middle of Nottingham, not fun with a caravan. Even a sat nav takes you into the city centre. Stay on the ring road it’s much easier.
