My whole purpose for choosing a site like this is to go fishing. So when you read their blurb 'We have three fishing ponds, one of which is for the exclusive use of our residents', you think this is the place for me.
However, on arrival and seeing one of the ponds, I asked the owner where the other ponds were. 'That's all we have' was his reply. THE pond turned out to be a gin clear, weed infested patch of water, which would put the most dedicated fisherman to the test. Don't get me wrong, there was some decent fish in it, you couldn't really miss them, the water was that clear. However after 2 long days and only 9 fish, it was too much and I had to look elsewhere for the fishing at least.
Our our camping ground the only level piece of lan, was where the owners had been dumping leaves, weeds etc and stank. They had tried to build a plateau, but had failed - there was still a slight slope on it. However, it was only wide enough for nothing more than 'festival tents' and certainly not family size tents.
There were a number of good points to save it though. The toilets were immaculate. The shower room very good and decent hot water. Although it could get awkward, if the site got busy, with only 1 toilet in the Mens and only 1 shower for the site.
One excellent touch, was a fridge for use by the campers. Unfortunately, the Caravaners also made use of it, so at times it got a bit full.
There is an Aldi, Chinese, Pizza shop and Chippy all within very close distance (less than 1/2 mile). Chippy wasn't up to much, but the other 2 were excellent and good value for money.
Other major supermarkets and Bulwell itself is only just over a mile away, so is very convenient for all the amenities. Trams from Bulwell run into Nottingham run every 15 minutes.
With a Van/Tourer for staying in the area, this site is very convenient.

Almost brand new to touring caravans and this was the site chosen for the first proper stopover after a few hundred miles travelled. What an excellent choice too.
A friendly welcome and choice of pitches more than offset the damages caused by an errant sat nav. Having read other users mishaps about the sat nav issues, it appears that the local council have blocked off the suggested route. The trick is to ignore the final instructions to turn into the trading estate and go a bit further past the Shell garage and then turn left at the next roundabout.
Overall an excellent site for stopovers even getting away from it all as the site is in a small valley and so most noise passes by.
Will be using here again!

This campsite was exceptional! It was a quiet site with lovely picturesque surroundings. The facilities were well maintained, with four toilets, one shower, a separate washroom which boasted a large sink, draining board and a fridge freezer. There were plenty of electrical hookups and parking spaces. It may be a smaller site than most, but the owners were very friendly. There were a number of supermarkets nearby, including an Aldi and a Tesco and a Morrison's within a ten minute drive. Also, the nearby town was within a ten minute drive, with plenty of takeaways and a large soft play area, as well as petrol stations.
The only thing I would say as a downside was there was a bit of noise from the nearby industrial estate, however, we visited on weekdays, so presumably there would be less noise at weekends. Also, the lane to the campsite is single track, which could cause a problem if meeting other drivers with caravans/trailers!
On the whole, this was a lovely, great value, well appointed, quiet, adults only campsite, and I would recommend it to anyone!

We hired a motorhome for a 2 week tour to Scotland and so were completely new to the whole thing when we stopped here for our first night and we couldn't have chosen better. The toilets were spotless and lovely and warm and the shower room the same. The approach down the lane beside the industrial estate is a little off putting but once you are on site it's lovely and as they weren't busy the Warden let us choose our pitch and so we breakfasted the next morning looking over the pond watching the ducks and moorhen's before getting on our way.

A weird one to give feedback really. The owners are real nice and the site is clean along with the shower and toilets. You are close to the pond from all pitches. However the location for me lets it down, It is up a lane behind an industrial park. There was quite a bit of noise from factory alarms and lorries reversing etc. Although dogs were allowed on site finding a place close by that wasn't suffering from fly tipping and broken glass was not easy (we found a place 4 miles away). I don't like giving feedback that is too negative but its the whole idea of the feedback system. Just a shame you cant take the site and owners and plonk them somewhere a little nicer and holiday friendlier.
NB the 3 stars for location is for the shops and pubs

Great site. Booking was very easy and owners very helpful. Arrived at 21. 00 and greeted by the owner who was also very helpful and showed us around the site including the ordnance survey map by the toilet area. Shower room and toilets were immaculate - 1 shower for both men and women but this didn't matter as the only people on site were motorhome owners who had their own showers.
The fishing lake helps make the setting really attractive and peaceful despite the location backing onto an industrial park which certainly didn't disturb us. Our Golden Retriever was very interested in the water and moorhens so as requested keep dogs on a lead and there was plenty of quite roads close at hand to take him for a walk. There was an electric hook up which we used and TV aerial for each pitch which we didn't need but if staying when the weather isn't so good might be very useful.
We were only there 1 night as a stopover but would love to go back for longer and see the surrounding area. Highly recommend this site especially if you don't want children around and the cost for 2 adults, dog and motorhome just £15. 00 excellent.

We went up to Notts for a greyhound event recently and decided to stay the full weekend to make the most of our trip!
We found Blenheim farm on UKCampsite and contacted them via the website to enquire on availability quick response from them confirming space and details advised to call to book and pay deposit
When called staff were helpful confirmed details with us and processed the booking! There was a minor issue with the payment process but they took our details and processed it after the call so that we did not have to wait and then sent a text to confirm payment had gone through and the booking was made
Location Site is behind a trading estate and next to an airport which did mean it was busy/noisy at early hours with delivery lorry's loading up from the warehouse but not so noisy that it was a huge problem! We had problems finding the site we used the postcode they suggested but the sat nav sent us the other side the trading estate but once we had worked out where we needed to be it was easy to find!
The Site If you are in a tent with no EHU then you are in the top field which is fine but take a torch because if you need get up to use the facilities in the night you need to walk between two ponds/lakes to get there and if you aren't careful you could very well end up getting wet
The site is quite small (not tiny) it is basically one field with a pond separating the EHU side from the non EHU side
Facilities Site has male and female toilets a unisex shower room (a room with one shower cubical and a sink) washing up facilities and drinking water
Toilets Were clean female toilets has 3 cubicles with the sinks and a mirror in the communal area
At one point there was no soap in the male toilets in early evening/late afternoon staff informed who said they were aware but there was still none available at bed time (10 o clock in evening) the temp controls on the sinks didn't seem to work even if you set it to cold it would still run warm
Showers The shower room is a good idea as it ensures privacy to shower and a dry area to dress after as opposed to what you find in a lot of sites where you have to try dress in the wet room style cubicle that you have just showered in however the water temperature wasn't good it kept jumping from hot to cold and didn't seem to have a middle warm setting and with there only being one shower it meant it wasn't available when required at times (even though it is a small site)
Price good price think was £15 per night for 2 adults in a tent no charge for dogs 5/5 for price
Location 4/5 was difficult to find and up a narrow lane with potholes etc
Facilities 4/5 they were very nice and clean but few issues with water temperatures
No children allowed due to the ponds/lakes Dogs allowed on lead (watch out for the resident dog who roams free we almost ran him over at one point as he popped out from behind the hedge on the bend by the pond right in front of our car) They also have chickens on site!

As a few other reviewers have stated, this small site is in an unusual location next to an industrial estate and not far from the end of an aerodrome runway. Don't let that put you off.
This is an immaculate well run adults only quiet haven. It has a large fishing pond and an aviary full of zebra finches. On our arrival we were shown to our pitch by the owner who then gave us a tour of the spotless facilities.
We walked to Bulwell to shop which took about 25 minutes. We will be returning to this oasis.

This is a gem of a site, tucked in the middle of an industrial estate, but as you enter the site you can not tell.
The site is small but lovely and no views of the industrial estate. Fishing lakes for anglers that we didn't use as we were on a one night stop over, looked great.
Facilities on site ie toilets, shower and washing up area are spotless and modern.
We were met and shown to our pitch promptly upon arrival, with it being quiet we had a choice of pitches and chose a small flat one.
Unfortunately we were only staying for one night and did not get to see the local area.
This is a lovely site and if in the area we will definitely stay again.

What a lovely site!
We live literally 0. 7 miles away from this site, but fancied a night away in the caravan.
It felt like being miles away. It is very clean and the facilities are well maintained.
I would definitely recommend this site, especially with the price.
We have children, but fancied a night without them and it was nice going somewhere adult only.
We are not into fishing, but it was very interesting ti see them fishing.
I did see on the website that they do breakfasts and Sunday dinner. I don't know if they are in process, but we didn't see any of this.
All in all though, a very pleasurable experience!
