Little Staughton is a handy local camp site and we had booked a weekend.
Unfortunately the site was waterlogged so we booked THe Willows at short notice. We were the only tent there and the caravan owners were friendly.
The facilities are excellent and the owners helpful.

Just returned from a weekend break at the willows what a great site this is.
Friendly owners showed us to our pitches showers always hot and never had a problem with waiting. Brampton mill pub 2 mins away although expensive.
We walked to the black bull in Brampton which took about 20 mins across fields and golf course. We have already booked another weekend with them ;
Huntingdon town centre just 5 mins drive away this place is well worth a visit it wont disappoint you

We stayed here during Spring 2016 and found it to be a lovely site. Well located close to the town centre of Huntingdon and the village of Brampton.
The showers and wash rooms were spotlessly clean and well looked after. There is a washing machine available for campers to use.
There is a very pleasant walk along by the river and there is a pub nearby with food within 5 minutes walk from the site.
The wardens here provide a warm welcome on arrival and are incredibly kind and helpful to visitors in fact nothing seems too much trouble to them.
There are plenty of electric hook-ups and a nice quiet area for tents tucked away at the back of the site. So altogether we were very pleased to stay on such a clean and comfortable site.
Thanks for such an enjoyable stay!

As a family we have been coming to this campsite for years. It is perfectly located for us lots of lovely dog walks along the river and a beautiful country park opposite.
Two pubs within walking distance and if you feeling lazy a boat that will take you to godmanchester. The towns of Huntington and st Ives are well worth a visit.
If you like garden centres there are two within a short driving distance. While the very local pub (the Brampton mill) is in a beautiful setting it is expensive. For value for money The Bull in Brampton is better it is a 15min walk across fields.
The campsite facilities are clean and the wardens are friendly and helpful but the campsite isn't so pretty anymore as it seems to becoming full with permanent vans and this makes it look like a gypsy camp.
It used to look so nice within all the willow trees and neat grass but the permanent vans make it look ugly especially the ones with the huge gas bottles outside.
Why they can't leave it for tourers and tents I'm not sure.

We stayed for 2 nights in February 2016.
Due to the wet pitches we parked on the road but this was fine - better than getting stuck in the mud! The staff were friendly and helpful.
The play park was under construction but we were forewarned of this before arrival.
The toilets and showers were clean and warm.
There was a great pub down the road within walking distance that did amazing Sunday roast.
Would recommend this campsite in summer.

I have to say we have camped now for 9 years and this site is one of the best locations we have visited. The warden and his lovely wife are a pleasure nothing was too much trouble.
The site is beautifully maintained and the facilities are some of the cleanest we've used.
We are new to this area but we would recommend this tranquil calm and very friendly site without hesitation.

We stayed for two weeks whilst working in the area. We received a warm welcome when booking and face-to-face on our arrival. The relaxed attitude of the wardens makes the whole experience of booking and arriving just what you would want. The facilities block is kept extremely clean with plenty of hot water for showers and washing up when you need it. The surroundings are well maintained and there was much work being done to keep it that way. It is a secure site with the barrier offering peace of mind when leaving your unit. We did not experience much of the surrounding area as we were there to work, but feel inclined to return, maybe during the season, to take in some of the local highlights. Thank you Rowe & Bernie for a very pleasant stay.

We went to the campsite for a couple days for Huntingdon racecourse, facilities was good but they could've been more lights and some more signage around the park, wardens are very friendly and would go back for the racing there are some lovely restaurants in the area which was great value for money if you cycle to town it should take you 10 mins and to Huntingdon racecourse 15 mins cycle

Lovely clean site with very friendly and helpful wardens. Yes you have to carry your gear to the tent pitch as mentioned in a previous review but it's not far and quite a luxury to have no cars on the field. We had a nice flat pitch in one of the corners right next to one of the lovely willow trees. There are only two showers which are free and about five toilets, but these were kept very clean and fresh during the duration of our stay. There is also a washing machine if required and washing up facility. Ideally located close to the A1 & A14 and road noise caused no problem to us at all, neither did the nearby East Coast train route.
The site is kept immaculately clean and tidy with regularly cut grass and is fantastic value at £21 per night for a large tent, 2 adults, 2 teenagers, 1 dog and electric.
Nice easy walks from the site to Huntingdon & Godmanchester. The King of The Belgians Pub on the Hampton side of Huntingdon is definitely worth a visit, both for a great pint of local Ale and cracking, good value food. The Latte and cake offer at The George Hotel in Huntingdon is very nice and also great value and you really should pay the Brampton Pie shop in Huntingdon a visit, yummy!

Lovely clean site, have been here before and it is ideally situated. The people are really friendly and we had a lovely flat pitch on a field for tents. The only downside is you have to leave your car away from the field and carry all your tent and equipment to this field which wasn't far, but it involved at least 5 trips to carry your equipment and the tent and the same on leaving. There are only two showers which are free and about five toilets, but these were kept clean and fresh during the duration of our stay. There is also a washing machine if required and washing up facility. It is ideal for Brampton Mill which is just down the track, although I wouldn't recommend this pub as although it is a lovely setting and we have been here several times before, it has gone downhill. It is dirty, untidy and the meals and drinks are really expensive, they ran out of beefburgers and also they ran out of real ale, my pie was dry and at over £13 I thought was extortionate, so would recommend a walk of abour 10 minutes to the Black Bull in Brampton, highly recommended for their pies, a really good selection and what a difference to Brampton Mill, the pies were homemade and packed with meat, the beer and gardens were good and friendly staff with clean facilities, nice restaurant and bar area. I would return to the campsite but would bring less equipment next time. Ideal for people with small tents.
