Excellent site, with very good and helpful warden. The grounds are in exceptional condition, and are very well maintained. Brampton Mill is VERY close by and offers food of an EXCEPTIONAL quality. Good fishing available close by, that is also great fun for kids....
The only downside to this site are the showers, that are a bit hit and miss with water pressure and availability (only 2 in the mens... didn't go into the girlies...) Kid's play field a bit small too... Over all, a VERY well placed and managed site.

June 2005 Sadly dissappointed. To start off the directions to the site were incorrect. We arrived in a trailer tent so we were put with the caravans and not the tents, we were at the entrance of the campsite not very safe with children.
There were load of rules of what the children could not do, so cycling and scootering for them were out except around our tent. The play area for the children is very small. Though they did not get bored.
The site is close to a pub and restaurant, so being close to the entrance we did have heavy traffic going by. We did have a meal at the restaurant, expensive for what you got.
The showers and toilets were clean, but had a cold shower if not first in the queue. Being in a tent there was not space to wash BBQ equipment and anything bigger than a plate, well not that we saw.

Just returned. Nice site, only let down by the poor shower facilities. Very hot or very cold, not suitable for children during the bust times of day! Warden very friendly and helpful. Will return when the showers sorted.

March 2004 The site has good toilets / showers and are well kept. The Warden is always helpful and friendly. I had a prompt reply to my email on a short notice booking. It's a flat site, the only thing to watch is exiting the site with a long van as it is into a narrow lane. There are plenty of walks Huntington, Godmanchester along the river. Fishing close by and a restaurant just outside the site in a old water mill. We will be going again soonas it is a good base for touring the area.

23 to 26/7/04 & 30/7 to 1/8/04 This site is sooo relaxing. We were recommended this site by relatives who stayed there long term before, and as this was our first venture out in our first caravan, we were unsure as to what to expect. As the other feedback says, it is small and quiet, but has lot's of room for lots of vans and tents. We felt this site was safe and secure, and the toilets and shower blocks were spotless. The only downside was that the showers were hit and miss due to low pressure (mainly because the site is so popular and busy!). The site manager is helpful and obliging, and there are lots to see and do in and around the area. We would recommend this site to anyone, couples and families alike without hesitation. Enjoy.

various 2002/2001 We have been to this site many times for weekend breaks. A small, clean, well run site which I would recommend. The site is next the river Ouse and the the pub there is in a wonderful setting by the watermill. The wardens on site make you very welcome and are extremely helpful. Most of the pitches are taken by caravans and motorhomes but there is always room for a tent! The kids always look forward to going there which is a bonus. Nice place for me to chill out and hubby enjoys fishing in the river.

September 2002 This is a very well kept and organised campsite with electric hookups for all pitches. The site has large designated pitches which give quite a bit of space between you and the neighbours.
The toliets/ facilities are cleaned regularly and kept clean and excellent. There is a wash-up area in both sets of toilets. The showers were clean and hot. Beware if you have young children, we were told that our two were not allowed to use the toilet block unsupervised, my children are 3 and 7 and always take themselves to the toilet. The age limit is 12 before they can go on their own!! They were talked to a couple of times when we did allow them to go unsupervised. (This though is the only downside to this site)
There is a basic small childrens play area but perfectly adequate for the total of 6 kids that were on site, any more than that then the play area would be rather overcrowded.
There is a fair bit to do locally with Huntingdon and Cambridge local and walks down the river.
The pub located 100 yards from the site is a Whitbred run 'Out and Out' and offers a good choice of adults and childrens menus.
One word of caution this site is very quiet and if you have noisy kids this may not be the site for you, also the site was dominated with Motorhomes and caravans and I felt a little out of place in my trailer tent.
Overall I would go back to this site and found it very pleasent.
