We stayed on this site for the weekend with friends, who have been raving about this site all year and I must admit I was very impressed. The warden Brian was so helpful, showed us to our pitches and although ours did have a slight slope it didn't bother us. The grounds are lovely with rabbits everywhere, willow trees and pampus grass.
A short stroll down the lane is a lovely pub the Brampton Mill, we spent a lovely afternoon sitting in the hot sun having a few cold beers. The river is a stones throw away and we met many boaters, who had come up river just to have lunch here.
The only down side, if you can call it that, was not being able to put any kind of flooring inside your awning or porches, not even breathable. It meant a lot of grass came into the caravan but I would highly recommend this site and will be going back again.

We selected this site as it was a 25 minute drive away and wanted to find a place that we could relax after work. Well we found it.
The site is down a track from the main road and set in a circle with the shower block in the middle. We were shown to our pitch by a really friendly and helpful man. Great for the kids as they can't go far.
There is a great walk along the river which the kids and dogs loved.
There is a pub adjacent which is set in a water mill which is lovely. The food was adequate, however the children meals were VERY small. This is not part of the camping park so does not reflect on them.
The shower and toilet facilities could do with an update but they served their purpose. ( Only 2 showers each and four toilets).
There is no shop on site but there is a co-op in Brampton only a 5 minute drive away.
All in all a great site, we will go back again and again.

This is a site that we keep returning to, not only due to its fairly close proximity to home, but the fact that it is a lovely quiet family site.
We arrived late in the day, about 6pm and the owner just advised to pitch up on arrival and make our way to the wardens house and pay for the night. This we did and were given the code for the toilet block.
The facilities were as clean as they have always been, with two washing up areas and a laundry. Plenty of hot water in the showers and the washing up, so up to their normal standard.
The playground was still there, however is still for the under eights, so a bit odd that.
The location is ideal and close to the A14 and close to the local town for all your shopping needs.
The pub next door offers food, good beer and wines at reasonable prices and is a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
The site is next to the river / lakes and when we were there it rained hard and the site had a slight flood, but nothing to worry about and certainly would not stop me from going back.
This is a still a site at the top of my list and one that I will keep returning too.

We stopped off here on our way home from Norfolk and found the warden to be very helpful and friendly. He told us lots of information about the site and the neighbourhood and directed us to the Chinese takeaway, fish and chip shop and the pub! The site was very quiet when we were there, due to the weather, which was great. Our tent was beside the road to the Brampton Mill pub and so was quite noisy late at night with a fair bit of traffic. The pub is only a few yards from the site and has recently been refurbished to a high standard, we didn't eat there but it looked good! The site is in a lovely setting with lots of riverside walks and many country parks near by. We also stopped off in Cambridge for a bit of punting! The only downside was that the toilet block was a bit tired but it was clean.

We visited at the end of March and the site was very quiet. It is less than 5 minutes drive from the A1. The park is very well thought out with an inner and outer circular field, between the 2 runs a hard stand road which is designed with recesses on either side that acts as hard stand in wet weather. The pitches appeared very spacious with the car parked across the front. The amenities block houses gents and ladies toilets, 2 pot wash areas and a clothes washing area complete with washer etc. The gents has 2 showers 3 stones and 3 cubicles whilst the ladies has 2 showers and 5 cubicles. Showers are free and all areas were cleaned regularly. Outside the block is a small play area for the under 7's. There are many walks in the area, Hinchinbrook Country Park is opposite the main entrance and The Ouse Valley Way runs alongside the caravan park. There is a restaurant/ pub at the side of the park called Brampton Mill, discount vouchers available on their web site. There are supermarkets and a big shopping area in Huntingdon. There is a main line train station also in Huntingdon, 10 mins walk, with direct trains to London. There is a good bus service going as far as Cambridge with a bus stop outside the park entrance. We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 days and intend to revisit in the near future. There are too many things to do to list so if you need any info drop me a line. Pics can be viewed from my profile. Enjoy.

This was a last minute weekend away to see relatives who live nearby. A nice clean site with decent facilities, pitches very level and spacious, staff friendly and helpful. We found the showers to be fine when we stayed and our 2 yr old loved the playground. Very little road noise from main A road nearby.Small stall selling camping essentials very welcome! Good location and nice walk up to mill. Will be staying again next season.

Our first time out in our tent, first time camping as a family, and we had a great time at The Willows. Our kids had a great time and really didn't want to leave. Brian and Maureene were very helpful, and let us have the site for less than we should have paid, because although I'd said we had a nine-berth tent, we were quoted for a normal-sized pitch.
I'd heartily recommend it to families - we felt safe letting our bigger kids go to the playground by themselves, and had no problems supervising the youngest when he played, nor with supervising all of them in the amenities block. It did get a bit annoying to have to take them to the toilet every time they needed to go, but I think it was better to know they were okay. Yes, there are only 2 showers in the mens and in the ladies, but we never had a problem with queues. Toilets were very clean. Even though we were right by the gate, we didn't feel our children were at risk, as there's a 5 mile speed limit, and they know not to go on the road anyway. My only big bad bit was that we were put on top of a massive rabbit warren.but we managed to get home without any broken limbs. It was very cool however to spot the rabbits with our torches.
We'd booked an electric hookup, but they'd had a problem and weren't able to provide us with one. This was fine, as we didn't need it after all. Brampton Mill is lovely, but we didn't eat there, so can't comment on the food. A fish and chip van comes on Friday nights, but it was caught in an accident the night we arrived and so didn't come until 10.45 (it's generally there 8.15-9.15). It sounded its horn on arrival, which was probably a bad move, particularly with us as we were travelling with a 3 month old baby. Huntingdon is quite close, but beware and listen very closely if Brian's telling you how to get to Tesco's (it's up the end of St Peter's Road, off Ermine Street, if that's any help), because we became very, very lost on our first night there.only finding it on trying again the following morning. Lots of shops within driving distance nearby, loads of attractions (Oliver Cromwell was born in Huntingdon).

Superb waterside setting. Pitches are level, spacious and perfectly maintained. Toilet and shower blocks were immaculately clean, if a little tired. The management are probably amongst the most helpful and charming I have had the good fortune to come across in 10 years of motorhoming/caravanning. Watch out for the wonderful old cat they have - he's huge and a real character. Good walks in this area. Very picturesquemill restaurant nearby. Excellent fish and chip van visited on the FRiday evening we were there.

Had a lovely weekend here. 3 children enjoyed the small, but adequate play area, more wooded area, riverside walks and also the regular visits made by the ice cream man. Warden very helpful. No problems with showers. Clean and tidy site with good size pitches. Will come again.

Arrived for our second visit in two weeks, and as always we were greeted with friendliness and shown where our pitch was. The facilities were clean and well kept again, but the showers are still going hot and cold. This isn't the site's fault as we found out that since the site was opened there has been a great number of houses built which puts a strain on the supply. I think this is being looked at, and dealt with.
There had been a great deal of rain before our last arrival, but there were no puddles in site. As usual we had plenty of room within out plot (generous sizes even with an awning!)
Alot of sites could take a leaf out of this ones books when it comes to looking after customers. Another enjoyable stay.
