Wow what a super site. Toilet block and showers clean. Mature willows gave the impression of privacy. Spent the weekend with our daughter son-in law and kids and we all loved it. Looking forward to go again in a couple of weeks. Went to the Mill for a drink and nearly had to take out a mortgage so will be taking a walk across the fields to the village pub. Hope to make this a regular site as found it to be everything we were looking for.

Great little site, set out in a oval with good facilities. Staff were very friendly on our arrival and could do enough. It was our first time with our recently purchased caravan, so it was a dry run of the equipment. All went well.
Huntingdon is roughly 5 - 10 minute drive to the town centre.

Last minute booking for a single night. Top marks all round.
Really friendly welcome and staff. Great pitch no1 (although I could see them a bit closer together on the other side as you enter the park) and the facilities were good. Only draw back was only two showers so involved some queuing. Playground was good as well for the kids and even has two trampolines. Some others have commented on the train lines, but we heard nothing all the time we were there.
Pub was amazing food. Not cheap but you get what you pay for and worth a wander along the river. I'd even suggest a short stroll into Brampton. Nothing there but nice walk round. And the park across the road from the site is great.

Just returned from a lovely weekend at this immaculate site. Toilets and showers spotless even though it was a busy weekend. Lovely walks straight off the site for our 2 dogs. Hemmingford Grey and Hemmingford Abbotts worth a visit for their picture postcard thatched cottages. Worth doing some research into Huntingdon to get to grips with the layout of where things are - we never did find Tescos! Also some of the information given on the website is not correct, we waited for the P. M. Car boot at Huntindon Racecourse and arrived as it was packing up after starting at 10. 30!
This site is definitely worth visiting both for location and cleanliness of facilities.

We are coming to the end of a one week stay at this site and have been impressed.
The site is very well kept - grass kept trim, no litter, toilets and showers spotless.
The wardens are friendly, welcoming and helpful.
Sainsbury and Tesco have superstores near by and there is some good shopping in nearby Huntingdon.
It is only a few minutes walk to Bramton Mill pub where you can enjoy a drink and a not too expensive meal - in the restaurant or outside by the river. A ferry will, for £3. 00, take you to Godmanchester and back.
For those of you with children there is a small well equipped playground and plenty of space. A one way system for vehicles adds to the safety of the site.
The adjacent CL is to the same high standard as The Willows beeing managed by the same wardens. It is right by the water so parents be aware.

Our first impressions were that the site was a little untidy with a skip for rubbish and the odd bit of works/ farm machinery dotted around on the outskirts. The water is situated a fair distance from the road which meant that our hosepipe Only just reached. There are obviously caravans here which have week workers so they caused us no issue as we were here at the weekend. And I guess they enable the site to stay open all year. The road and trains caused us no issue at all, this may be noticeable in a tent but certainly isn't in the Motorhome.
The shower/ toilet block was lovely and modern with hot electric showers plenty of toilets, disabled toilets, washing machine, washing up area and a book exchange.
There was a small children's play area and two trampolines in the centre of the site.
There are numerous footpaths around the site as well as a river footpath.
There is a good footpath/ cycle path all the way to Huntingdon and Huntingdon train station is 1 mile from the site.
The wardens were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble.
We were here with children and loved the country park opposite the site where you could let the dog off the lead and there was a lovely play area with a zip wire as well as the normal children's playground bits and bobs.
A three minute walk away is Brampton Mill pub/ restaurant which looked lovely. They have a 2 course set menu for £12 and a three for £15 as well as a la carte. It looked to be very busy for Sunday lunch and accepts dos in the bar and children.
There is a lovely little ferry (capacity around14) which is based at the pub and takes passengers to Godmanchester return prices are £3 for adults £1 for children dogs go free. There is no time table just give him a ring and he will pick you up. Captain Tim allows the children to have a little steer and then they are allowed to sign the captains book. Our girls were captivated, but due to floods we were unable to take the trip, but we will return!
After my initial disappointment I now see this site through different eyes and will certainly return.

Visited this campsite and had the best weather of the summer. Situated next to the river/canal and to celebrate our wedding anniversary we ate at The Watermill restaurant, which is right next to the campsite. This was a great disappointment as it is very expensive and the food did not measure up to the prices charged.
The campsite is very well kept. Toilet block clean but only 2 shower cubicles. Site immaculate. Small children's play area in centre of site. Wardens very friendly and helpful. Will definitely visit this site again with/without our grandchildren.

The site has easy access from the A14(M) but the turning onto the site is also used by the Brampton Mill pub/restaurant so care is needed from traffic using it for the pub, both when arriving and leaving.
The site is well laid out and was neat and tidy, with plenty of space for caravans, motor homes and tents, and there is a safe area in the centre of the site for children. The warden’s house/office is next to a central block with showers and toilets, and I was made very welcome, the lady showing me to my pitch.
There is noise from the pub until closing time when sited beside the driveway, but I didn’t find it too disturbing, while the noise from the railway about half a mile away was not intrusive, despite a train passing every 3-5 minutes!
The A14 will take you either to the beautiful city of Cambridge, into Peterborough or Huntingdon, while there are lots of lovely villages like Hemingford Abbots and Hemingford Grey set in beautiful countryside.
From the site there is plenty of dog walks and public footpaths beside the river with swans and boats, although the Ouse Valley Way from the far end of the site is a bit overgrown at the moment. Across from the site entrance is another walk to a huge field also with footpaths, the one to the right comes to the river again with a small shingle ‘beach. ’
I recommend this site and will definitely be coming back.

Gorgeous site with pleasant owners, nicely trimmed grass even though it was the wettest month for god knows how many years.
Clean toilet blocks showers were adequate but personally think the electric showers could do with another think, the rate of flow of the water is not brilliant.
2 mins walk from the brampton mill pub, bit pricey but a nice drinking place with no driving to do.
Only a mile or so from Huntingdon and about the same to the A1/A14 so very easy access.
Can here trains in the distance but not enough to disturb you.
Well worth a visit, will use it again. £18 per night with EHU and awning

We have just returned from The Willows, We will definitely be going back there,
Toilet/shower Blocks were good, clean & modern, I found the caretakers/owners of the site friendly, they did want the vans/tents to be parked in certain areas which in turn made the site look even more tidier,
The whole site was flat & even, we were there on a very wet weekend but the water drained away well,
The river just over the road, some nice walks, the children's play area was well kept
You cannot hear any traffic noises but the occasional train in the distance which was not in any way off putting or annoying,
