Had a lovely stay, facilities are brilliant and food at the pub is excellent with loads of choice.
Happy friendly staff and other campers were friendly and respectful.
Will definitely be a frequent visitor.

Could do better, welcoming owner, but no info, had to ask about waste & Elsan disposal.
The view from the site faces the back of the pub, there is a scruffy storage area on one side with the wooden gates left open, a very large open ended marquee in the middle that is used to store all sorts of items, & on the other side are several waste bins, & a large charity collection bin all in full view, with no screening, strangely the waste bins had signs on them asking campers to take their rubbish home.
Pub visitors were allowed to use the site toilets which should have been closed due to covid 19 rules.

Description of site with the facilities sounded perfect for a week stay.
New refurbished shower, toilets etc. I can only presume that was from about 10 years ago. Just two combined toilet and shower with no real hand basin of any size if required. Very poorly lit and no heating. One the shower was just a trickle. Cleaned possibly once maybe twice in a whole week. Smelt very damp due to poor ventilation.
Camping field was literally that. Entrance was a wet muddy mass, and field had clearly not seen a lawn mower for some time as grass was quite long.
This has the potential to be a very good site if investment was made to improve facilities and entrance. Will not be coming back

Lovely location, good pub, good and reasonably priced food, very Covid secure set up.
Hassle free check in.
Would certainly return and explore more of the local area

Pros
Easy access from road
A water tap to share with your neighbour
Cons
Muddy slick in centre of field
Heard from other campers the two toilet/shower rooms. To service 25 pitches were dirty despite the pandemic
Due to this we used our own toilet and tiny shower
Saturday night was music night and the volume was so loud it vibrated through the caravan
Last but by no means least, you weren't allowed to put your rubbish in their bins and were expected to take it home with you. Never been expected to do this before. Surely your site fees covers this expense. Who wants to store up a weeks worth of smelly rubbish.
Would we come again. Not likely
Believe their main interest is the pub and the campsite comes a poor second.

Relaxed site, suitable for everyone and our daughter enjoyed the play area. Limited lunch menu due to current situation and campers/ caravanners eat outside (can collect food or have it delivered to your table).
Beer tent provided much needed shade while eating /drinking.
Located next to river and some lovely walks, including the short distance to Bidford Village, where we paddled in the river!

The cleanliness of the shower room was poor, especially during this pandemic, they were cleaned once a day! Sanitizer ran out, toilet roll was empty for over 16hrs!
Only one shower/ toilet room open for the camp site, although the camp site was not busy, this was still an issue, especially as the pub clientele were using this facility as well!
Pitches were small!

Visited this site prior to this August BH, pleasant enough site, no problems with over exuberant trippers and only one morning with kiddies up bright and early [7:30am]
Toilet/shower cubicles really need a bit of attention, with the doors ill fitting need some off the bottom to allow them to close properly and with a safer lock,
Extractor fan in the R/h unit was buzzing but doing nothing, gave it a tap and it started spinning into life and helped clear the fog!
lighting is also in need of attention with two bulbs in one of the units just not functioning at all,
Loo paper was not always replenished until a polite mention to the very obliging staff,
The water temperature in the shower in L/H unit was a bit open to fluctuation when someone was using the wash up unit around the side,
Pub itself served a good quality set of food and drink [ate there twice] easy access to dog walking area/ field and into Bidford on Avon village through this field which has a variety of shops and pubs,
