We are loving Seaview, the staff are doing a fab job keeping the facilities clean despite the weather, the rain has been horrendous over the last week and I think any campsite would struggle, I think the ground is basically saturated. The staff have been fab and even knocked up little decking entrance mats to help everyone get in and out of their tents.
The local area is fab for days out and even in the rain we have managed trips to Newquay, Falmouth, Looe, just to name a few. The pool is geeat, even in poorer weather, under16's have to be accompanied so when my eldest wanted to go in, I just laid on a sun lounger and read a book to keep a distant eye on him.
The cafe is a bit strange couldn't quite work out how they cooked and where you ordered but that was fine as we cook for ourselves anyway unless we are on a day out when we eat out.
The games room has pool, air hockey and a range of arcade games, great for the kids to hang out in and keep occupied for a few hours and the park has fab play areas for younger ones but also pitch and putt, tennis, table tennis, football pitch with goals all free. There is even a beach in walking distance (albeit a bit of a hill on the way back!) that is great for body boarding, rock pooling etc.
All in all a great site with the cleanest facilities I have ever seen (especially considering the foul weather and bucket loads of rain!) the campsite staff are very friendly as well. Especially the man making the deck boards up!

Yes the facilities at this park are excellent. However , we arrived on a day after several days of wet weather and were given a perimeter pitch that we subsequently found out was soaking. It was supposed to be a premier pitch and to be honest it wasn't good. No privacy and on the edge of the one way system that takes all vehicles out of the park. Had to ask the Wardens to cone off pitches 1-5 as people were driving all over and making the ground even worse. We did get a chance to move but many of the pitches in the paddock were in a similar state so it wasn't worth the effort.
Very busy with families and far too noisy for us!
Excellent if you have kids as there is a lot for them to do.
Personally, I didn't think the Park offered good value for money - and we were charged £2. 50 per night for a small dog!
Adam's cafe was ok, we had fish and chips the first night and they were good. Service fine and staff very pleasant. Ordered food and it was ready spot on time. Prices reasonable.
Lovely to have a choice of bath or shower, plenty of modern loos and even complimentary hairdryers.

Just got back from the best week I have ever had! The site is stunning, staff are great, clean facilities and far more than most sites offer!
The pitches are a very good size and you don't feel cramped at all, loads of toilets and showers as well as 2 disabled shower rooms that also have baths in, baths cost £1 for about 15 mins of hot water which I thought was a fair price and we used it a few times. There is a campers kitchen with a freezer, 2 ring hobs and microwaves to use all free and a good sized laundry room.
The site itself is just beautiful with gorgeous flowers and is well maintained. The pool is great and my 3 used it loads. There is a lovely pool area with sun loungers and extra games like chess and table tennis. The children's play area is out of this world! There are several bbq stations dotted around which were very handy as there is a 2ft off the ground rule on bbq's. And fair enough I wouldn't want to ruin the pitch by burning the grass.
Some have commented on the narrow road and to be honest yes it is single lane but there are passing spots ever 50 metres and I had to contend with tractors, lorries and caravans and never had a single issue passing them. In all honesty you face these kinds of roads all over the county and its all part of the charm.
The site is a fair drive from the nearest supermarket (20 mins or so) but it is the most stunning drive to make so it didn't bother me at all! Its quite remote but I like that, there is loads to see nearby and a couple of stunning beaches nearby.
I can honestly say the week spent there beats any holiday I have ever taken. Here or abroad and the site is really going to take some beating!

We stayed here for 10 days during June. We started off in our tent but had to upgrade when the winds became unbearable. We had 5 days of no winds then 3 really bad days with very little protection. We stayed on the family pitches on the far side of the site.
The toilet block was superb. Within them they had individual toilets/showers which was great. Very clean at all times. Within the toilet block it also had a cubicle which had freezer, small electric cooker, kettle and microwave which was great and free to use. The pitches were okay and had hedges either side and trees behind.
The play area was brilliant. Best we've seen. It had badmington, tennis, big play area, crazy golf, volleyball and football pitches all together on one field. This kept our 6 year old entertained and us active. The pool was a good size and heated so we got to go in it when the weather was good. Only problem is kids are not allowed to take inflatables etc into the pool. Around the pool are large chess board, table tennis and a disc sliding game which we enjoyed. You can get your rackets, golf clubs etc from reception. They even provide the balls.
The food bar was okay but pricey. As we went out of school holidays they didn't open much. The shop was okay and decent prices. The reception staff were exellent and couldn't fault them at all. They saw us a lot during our stay as we were always getting rackets etc.
We had very bad wind towards the end of the holidays and didn't sleep one night and gave up at midnight the next night. We had to wake owner up in order to upgrade to a caravan. She was lovely and took the price of our tent pitch of the cost of the caravan and allowed us to leave the tent up until the wind had died down.
The caravan was okay for bronze and this made our sons holiday as he doesn't like walking across a field to go to the toilet!. If the weather was better then this would of been like being abroad. Overall it was a good holiday but weather ruined some of it. Otherwise would recommend as enough to keep the children occupied for hours.

One of the best, if not the best, camp sites I have ever stayed at. I agree with all the other reviewers, and would add that the scrupulously clean facilities also have TWO BATHS! At least they do in the Ladies. Don't know about the gents. And the charge of £1 per go was wizard. I would imagine that that is a much easier way for Mum to get the kids cleaned up and ready for bed than the usual press-button showers that are the norm these days.
The location is utterly lovely, but you must be prepared for being 20 minutes away from any shops, banks etc. Hemmick Beach was a particular favourite, not least because it is dog friendly all year around. The walk down (no parking there)is lovely, but be prepared for the walk back up! Take bottles of water, Asthma puffer, Kendal Mint cake etc!
The staff here are the best I have ever come across, ever. The shop was an annoyance to them as well as us, having franchised it out to a group to manage it, and then finding they had decided to shut it in the middle of the day. The plan is, I understand, to get that back under site control the moment the franchise runs out.
I do not usually partake of on-site food facilities because I cook, but fell to the big blackboard temptation of breakfast one morning. Had to wait over 10 minutes before anyone appeared. The breakfast itself was no more than OK at £7. 00, and when I went for a second cup of tea he had had shut 30 minutes early. Not really a complaint as such, just a disappointment.
Be aware if you want to use your own mobile internet, as no internet provider covers this site. WIFI is supposed to cover the site, for the usual charges, but in spite of several calls to the company that did the providing, including buying a bit of kit for £15 that they recommended, I never got hooked up. That may just be me. But I would advise you to double check if internet is important to you. None of that was the fault of the site itself, who were as helpful as they could be about it.
I've just read all that back and it sounds negative, which was not my intention. Best bits? The planting is wonderful(often with fresh Rosemary close by, for your Bar-B-Q!), the sun bathing lizards on a rock near the dog walk, the views to the sea, evidence of badger activity every morning, the Cornish Hedges, and so much more. I would like to return there.
And the bath. Oh yes, the bath!

This was our first time visiting the site, the brochure pictures were very good.
Firstly, I would make people aware of the lanes leading to the site. You have to drive approx 1. 5 miles through single track lanes to get to the site, although we didn't meet any traffic on arrival or leaving when towing.
The site itself was very clean, very well kept, fantastic large field for the kids, great climbing areas, swings, tennis nets, football area, really impressive.
All pitches were level and in very good condition. We stayed on a hardstanding pitch, good space for van awning and car.
Toilets and showers were very clean, although the site was full, never had to wait for showers.
The outdoor pool was very good, we only tried the pool on one occasion due to the bad weather but great surroundings very well landscaped.
There is no clubhouse on the site, there is food on offer, reasonable priced, plus open and sheltered areas to eat outdoor.
The week we stayed at the site, the weather wasn't great, had really bad winds, would recommend take some storm straps just in case.
Summary, really good site, although the lanes can be a little challenging to start with, you can get used to them very easily. The site is quite remote, although, Mevagissey and St Austell are in driving distance and plenty of places to visit.

Just got back from a last minute short break here and have got to say it was a fantastic site!
It was my first time camping so wasn't sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised to find the site had well kept large pitches, spotless toilets and showers with bathrooms for bathing the kids.
The staff were really friendly and helpful both on the phone and in person.
We took our 7yr old daughter and she had a such a great time she didn't want to come home. She loved the heated pool, games room and park. The shop was reasonably priced and while we didn't eat at the cafe the prices were great.
Will stop here again. This site has definitely helped to make campers out of our family and I can be very hard to please but I could find nothing that made me want to complain!

The camp site was fantastic! The facilities were really good, there was a games room and really nice park for the kids and the pool was great. Lots useful information in reception including weather report and they were very helpful when we needed extra information. The bathrooms and showers were very clean and I never had to wait to use either.
Locally, we needed to use the car to get everywhere we wanted to, except for the beach which was a bit of a trek down the hill. The area is beautiful and we even got a sea view from our pitch. We felt it was a good location to stay to be able to get to many parts of Cornwall, Lands End was only about 1 hr 20 mins away.
Overall we would definitely camp here again and thoroughly enjoyed all the site had to offer.

We had a fantastic holiday on this site despite the weather being very wet the whole week. We went with our 11 year old, who loved playing in the pool (which was nice and warm) and he met loads of friends on the massive playing area. The pitches were flat and well tended and despite the site being very busy, it was pretty quiet after 11. 00pm and the showers were always hot and clean. We didn't purchase food from the cafe on site, but it looked OK. The beach is a good 20 minutes walk down a steep hill, which is fine on the way down, but a good test of stamina on the way back up, however this didn't prevent us returning to the good crabbing down on the beach. The people on the site were friendly and the views from some of the pitches were fantastic. We stayed on a general pitch with electric hook up, but had a little look at the family plots, which were a little bit bigger with a small hedge separating them and they had their own bathroom block, which was also very nice. The only downside to the site is that it is in the middle of the countryside, quite a way away from anywhere, but well worth it, we'll definitely go back.

Previous reviews of this site are spot on. The pitches are good sized and flat with 16amp electric and plenty of waste disposal and fresh water areas around the site. The wardens mow each pitch as and when they become empty.
The pool is good sized with sun loungers and a large version of chess to play as well. It is sited close to the cafe and shop. The cafe does the basic fish/chips/pizza etc and is very reasonably priced, the shop stocks all the basics and again they are reasonably priced.
The children s play area is huge with three different apparatus for playing as well as an area for cricket etc. There is a miniature golf area and tennis courts.
The toilet area is spotless and contains the traditional loos as well as other larger cubicles which have a sink included so ideal for taking in small children. There is however only 1 hand drier for the dozen or so cubicles.
The 'close' beach is only 10 minutes walk away but that is a downhill 10 mins! Trying to walk back with smaller children would be difficult particularly as it is a single track road.
Would I return. Probably not but that is not because of the site which is superb. The only problem here is access which is via a narrow single lane which could be a potential nightmare with a 27' caravan behind you. To access anywhere from the site is narrow single lanes, 20 mph max and it takes forever to get anywhere. Lands End for example is 40 odd miles away and takes 1 3/4 hours to get there.
If you could rebuild the site nearer the main roads it would be perfect.
