Stayed on a standard pitch and have to say the pitches were very close together and not overly spacious. Should you choose premier luxury pitches then a totally different story with the pitches being good side with hedges either side and own water supply along with electric.
Not overly impressed with the cleanliness of the site at times, but I'm not sure how much that was down to other campers. The showers were ok but a little dated, with no sinks so if you wanted to shower and clean teeth you had to go to toilets to clean teeth after, not a major problem but bit of a pain.
The cafe was good but orders took some time, 45mins for 1 portion of chips!
On the plus side the playground and pool were fantastic. The staff were very friendly indeed and very helpful. Shop on site is the best I have been too.
2 beaches close by, Hemmick just a walk down the road, no parking and steep hill to climb back up but really nice beach. The other beach, sorry forget name was nice with little shop and cafe, about 10 min max drive with ample parking but very busy on a sunny day.
Nice dog walk on site and lots of friendly dog beaches nearby too.
Local shops quite a trek but good location for some great beaches.
Would possibly go again but not on a standard pitch.

Booked a 3 night stay with two other families. We had three good size pitches all together, near the playground which was excellent as children just ran off to play!the playground was great with equipment for all ages set in huge green field which was lovely!
Facilities were good with an excellent shop selling fresh bread, papers and everything else you may need and lovely cafe (more of a takeaway with undercover seating area) - but pre order food as gets very busy and as everything is cooked fresh it took our order over an hour to be cooked - but well worth the wait.
Lots of clean toilets but not enough showers and had to queue each time (both morning and night) - they were also quite small especially when showering with two children as well!
We were very impressed with the wardens who were very friendly but ensured site rules were followed as we had an instance of a car been driven very fast around the site so they then drove around the site looking for the culprits to deal with!very impressed!
We visited Caerhayes Beach which is 5 mins drive away and was stunning and kids absolutely loved and would definitely recommend. It has a snack bar and loos which always helps!
Some people have remarked that the site was off the beaten track but to be fair it is Cornwall and despite some narrow parts there were plenty of pulling in areas and it is a great location for the lost gardens, eden project, charlestown etc etc.
Had an amazing weekend with great weather and would definitely recommend - the site was well kept with flowers everywhere and many pitches had hedges around them ensuring privacy! there was even outside washing up sinks which were a nice touch!

WOW! What an amazing place. The grounds are immaculate with beautiful plants everywhere and each pitch neatly marked out. The welcome pack was very useful and everything was ready and waiting for us when we arrived- booking in took about 2 minutes!
The pitch was newly mown (which we saw them do to every clear pitch each morning). The toilets and bathrooms are again immaculate- I bumped into a cleaner at 6:30am! It sounds silly but the loo cubicles are enormous, so I had space to be in there with my four year old without having to do acrobatics around the loo door!
The washing up facilities are great- clean and plenty of them. There is a launderette and a restaurant which looked great but we did not use them.
The pool is enormous and heated so that even we swam! The play area for kids is again enormous with three different climbing frames for all ages and levels of agility.
There is a nice beach about a 15 minute walk away (longer to return as the hill is very steep!) There is absolutely nothing negative to say or constructive criticism to give as we had a perfect camping holiday there.

Stayed for 10 nights in July 2011 and was very impressed. Our pitch was a good size and there was a hedge on three sides which gave a lot of privacy.
Toilets and showers were spotlessly clean with piping hot water, and it's the first campsite I've ever stayed where you can have a bath!
The shop stocks all the basics and sells freshly baked bread and croissants, and everything was reasonably priced. There is a cafe which is open for breakfast and evening meals. We ordered a couple of the pizza's one night and they were really tasty and everyone elses food looked good too. It took a little while to get the food but as everything was cooked freshly to order it was worth the wait.
The site is a little bit off the beaten track and you really do need your own transport to get around, there is a bus stop about 15 minutes walk away but the service is pretty limited.
Having said that the fact that it is slightly away from everything is part of its charm annd the views are superb. If you are looking for a nice, quiet, clean family site the seaview would be difficult to beat.

I spent a very pleasant 10 days at this site, finally deciding be adventurous and move on before I took root here!
I received a very warm welcome and excellent customer service at all times from the staff.
The site itself is spotless, pitches flat and of very good size. Great showers and loos, and the only site I've been on that had baths as well (charge 1 pound for bath). Great food prep and laundry areas and free facility to freeze your ice packs.
The cafe/takeaway was manned by friendly and efficient staff, good fresh food, nicely cooked. The site also has a very well stocked (and licensed) shop, run by another very pleasant young man. Wi-fi is available at a charge.
I was in the area mainly for walking and there is a fantastic walk straight from the campsite, along with other great coastal walks within driving distance.
The Eden project and Lost Gardens of Heligan are also reasonably close. The Ship Inn at Portloe is a good traditional pub with great food at reasonable prices.
Seaview is a little off the beaten track, being about 8 miles from St. Austell, but is very well serviced for provisions and facilities. There is a lovely beach at Boswinger within 10 minutes walking distance, but a bit of an uphill climb on the way back. Very little facility for parking there. With a car, there is Caerhays beach down the road which has a large car park and snack bar.
I couldn't fault this site overall and am returning for more next weekend!

What a fantastic campsite we had a lovely flat pitch which was sheltered and drained well when we had 2 nights of rain. Toilets were spotless showers were clean but a little small when trying to get dressed. Staff were very helpful and we had a lovely week.
It was nice to spend some days on site in the pool and we also visited the local beaches however do not attempt to drive down to the beach nr the campsite as the roads are so narrow we just made it in our zafira! The Eden project is worth as visit our kids loved it.

What can I say fantastic site we were a party of 5 adults and 2 children aged 3 and 4. We had two tents. Great facilities, huge toilet block with individual cubicles each with own wash basin, shower block with free showers and hairdryers.
Even had 2 rooms with baths (£1) great for the kids. Washing up area with plenty of sinks and a freezer, microwave and mini cooker. Shop on site which was reasonably priced and opened specially for us when birds had stolen our bread.
On site park for children, tennis courts, badminton and putting greens - all free of charge. Place was kept spotless and well maintained. Outdoor pool (was not open till June) Would highly recommend.
Lovely beach just down the road. Good value cost £9 per night for each tent

We booked five nights at Seaview for our first camping trip of the season, we found the owner and staff very friendly and welcoming. Our full service grass pitch was very spacious (the largest we have seen)
There was a waste water drain at the back of each pitch which was very handy for throwing away water after cooking and there were plenty of drinking water taps close by.
The campsite and its facilities were very clean and well presented, the staff cleaning the facilities worked very hard and did a great job. I am very fussy when it comes to washing facilities but these were immaculate.
There were free hairdryers and unlimited amounts of free hot water. In the washing up room there is a freezer that you can use for your ice packs and a microwave and cooker which could be used for free if you wanted too.
The campsite shop was well stocked containing everything from flannels and ice packs to alcohol and frozen roast potatoes, there was also a cafe selling reasonably priced food. There is a swimming pool on site although it wasn’t open as it was early season.
The site was extremely spacious, well presented, friendly and good value. We highly recommend it.
Seaview has a great location for visiting the sights of Cornwall and if you are feeling really brave you could venture down to Hemmick beach which is about 5mins away down a very very narrow lane, we drove down and thankfully because it was early season there weren’t many cars around (car park big enough for 4 cars) however you can walk if you are feeling energetic. We would highly recommend going down there, it will be well worth it, the beach is beautiful, the water lovely and the scenery gorgeous, the best beach we have found in Cornwall.
We will definitely visit seaview again, we had a lovely time.

We have also stayed here before in September 2009 for 2 weeks. Found that some of the care and attention to the grounds had deteriorated. Still exceptional value for money with their out of season special offers. Can't be beaten.
Great facilities although the previously scorching hot showers had been turned down. Free outdoor heated swimming pool. BBQ area. Flat, well maintained pitches.
This is probably the only site we have ever holidayed at twice.
Mevagissey, Lost Gardens of Heligan and St Mawes all nearby. The Rose and Crown at St Ewe is worth a visit for food, if John and Lynn Nelson are still in charge.

We stayed here for a week In a rented Caravan. Which was nice and clean. With a nice layout. We were In a nice spot on the site with a sea view.
We looked around the site, The Tent area looked lovely well lawned, Spacious. Toilets very clean. Checked out the Shop pool and other Amenities. But were not open.
This was the 3 week of May and the Site was very quite. The roads / lanes are small in the area. We toured round a lot found lots of twisty bends very narrow, 'Good for Rally driving'. Also the area is prone to fog /sea mist.
Mevagisssy Is a lovely little fishing village. With lots of good places to eat. There is a local beach and be warned I would not recommend driving a car down there, we walked down and found it was lovely sheltered cove. But the walk back is lung busting up a very very steep hill.
All In all the site is a very nice place to have a holiday.
I would Imagine when it is the high season it would be packed and busy.
