Just spent a lovely weekend at the Keltie braes in Callander, , , One of the best sites I've been on. I was surprised at the size of the site yet so peaceful. Park facilities are excellent Shower was excellent, so powerful. There is a gate at the back of the site then a path which takes you into Callander, such a beautiful walk. We will definitely return.

We had a fantastic stay. The warden was very friendly. The site well maintained and the toilet block spotless. Great place for walks and an easy 30 minute stroll along the cycle path into Callander. I prefer the lower end of the site, which was quiet. The pitches are a good size and are fairly level so it was literally park up and plug in. We will be back for longer next time.

A wonderful site. Large pitches and the whole site is kept spotless. Great walks into Calander with all the local shops you could need.
I always check out the facilities for cleanliness and these are wonderful. Always clean whatever the time of day or night.
The site manager and family are one of the nicest people we have come across and will do anything in their power to help.
Will definitely be returning to this little gem.

Our second stay here and the first since the lovely new reception area was built, not that there was anything wrong with the old caravan!
The staff are really friendly and helpful and the shower block, the old one in the middle of the site, is very very clean and tidy with fresh flowers and cloths to wipe the sink areas clean.
The grass pitches are very neatly kept and the site oozes organisation and care.
Its a shame there are no card facilities yet (end of August) but there are no real issues grabbing cash from nearby Callender.
The site opens 7am so unless you want a very early start that shouldn't be a problem.
We shall be back.

We spent 3 nights at Keltie Bridge outside Callander.
Fast booking in process with friendly staff, shown to pitch which was at the top end of the site.
Good size hardstanding level pitch with hookup and close to toilet/shower block where all the facilities are, dishwashing etc.
I would say these are the better pitches as they are surrounded by grass and have an open outlook which we prefer.
The pitches at the entrance are all hardstanding and too much like a carpark for us.
This is also where the new toilet/shower block is located.
The toilet/shower block near our pitch is the older block but still has good hot showers but the actual block could be really cold in early / end of season. Also CDP point at the side but no grey water disposal, nearest point is not to far away but would be better having one closer for the top pitches.
We would return as we had a nice quiet break at Keltie Bridge but would prefer the same area as we had on this break.
Remember to take cash as they do not have debit/credit card option at this time.
Also does not have a playpark, we had our 7 year old grandaughter this trip otherwise it I would not have mentioned it.

Lovely site, very friendly and cracking shower block. Pitches all well spaced and love the picnic benches.
Washer dryer was excellent and love the vending machine for chilled drinks.
Good for cycling in local area, lots of nice wee tracks.
We would definitely return and look forward to it!

A peaceful and relaxing site, well situated for exploring Callander, Stirling and the Trossachs.
The facilities are excellent; clearly quite new and very well maintained. The showers are excellent. The managers were welcoming, friendly and approachable.
The site was busy but we didn't feel crowded.
Callander is a short drive or walk away and has all the amenities you would need.
We would return to holiday here again.

Excellent site with friendly welcome. New 5 week old additional amenity block cum reception. This was spotless and had individual room showers, so can be used by anyone and good if you want to take the children in with you. Also being a room with a door none of that drafts making the shower curtain blow in on you problem you get at some sites. No push buttons, but real control over the temperature!
Only minor quibbles are if you are at the entrance end of the site is a little bit of noise from the A84 and they have no card machine, so I had to walk to the local petrol station (10 mins) to get cash.

Have visited this site twice in the last few weeks and it is well worthy of all the positive reviews.
Friendly welcome and well maintained grounds with spacious pitches and beautifully planted flowers around the site. Both toilet blocks spotlessly clean and even have fresh flowers in them too! Plenty hot water in showers (no push buttons here!) and easy to regulate. Free hairdryer in ladies. Never had to queue any morning for showers which is always a bonus at this time of year.
Although the site is not particularly small, it is quiet and I would not be put off by static caravans which are well laid out around the site and also very well maintained on spacious pitches. Site is easily accessed from main road but no road noise on site.
Callander is about a 30 minute walk from the site along former railway. Path is mostly tarred and flat - ideal for taking bikes, prams, dogs etc without being too strenuous.
Lots of nice wee shops and tea rooms as well as usual supermarkets. Cream teas at The Atrium are excellent value at only £3. 25 per person!
