Had a wonderful stay at this campsite. The owners made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble for them. The facilities were impressive, very clean and plenty of room. In the block nearest to us there were only two showers but we never had to wait and again they were very spacious and clean with plenty of hot water. The hairdryer in the ladies was free to use which is a first for me. The grounds are well kept and spotless. Would certainly use this site again and again and would recommend it to anyone wanting to explore the area.

Very pleasant site with fantastic facilities, set in the most wonderful scenery. Staff always go the extra mile for you and nothing is too much trouble for them. Local walks and trails are a must with direct walk in to Callander itself. Pitches are well spaced and does not feel cramped, choice of hardstanding or grass pitches with or without electric. Showers are nice, clean and free! no push buttons here folks! would highly recommend this site for everyone young or old.

Visited keltie bridge after seeing video on uk campsite will certainly be back, great little site wardens could not be more helpful. Toilets were exceptional and constantly being cleaned, the weather was great and may have made our visit slightly better, but could not fault the park. Callander is only a short walk away either by main road or the lovely country walk to the rear of the park, plenty of shops and bars etc, will be returning to the great little gem.

Our first ever trip in the caravan. Didn't know what to expect. Read the reviews and came with an open mind. I was really impressed with keltie bridge! There facilities were spot on, so clean. Staff were friendly. Other visitors were friendly and helpful. I loved it! I can't wait to go back. Our friends came to visit us for the day and there kiddies loved it too! They could maybe do with a wee park but there's plenty grass and a set of goals! It's a good 45/50 mins walk into Callander although we went the long way round I'm sure there is short cuts! We used the swimming pool at the sports centre, give them a phone first though as they close the whole pool for swimming lessons Unfortunately we only got 20 minutes! I used the washing machine at keltie bridge £2. 50, bout 35 mins. Good wash but my only moan would be the tumble drier at £1. 50 and my towels were still really damp! But lesson learnt I will just take more towels! And thinner ones! Callander is a great wee place. Went to Waverley hotel for drinks, the Italian restaurant cinos I think it was called for dinner, was delicious! Went to the crown hotel another night for dinner, got the steak pie, thought the meat was dry but it was ok! Went to aberfoyle for the morning one day not a far drive. Was a lovely wee place! Left after our 3 nights, got to the next place and wished we had stayed at keltie bridge! We even came home a day early from the next place! I can't wait to go back out in the caravan! Great experience! And so glad we found a fabulous place at Keltie Bridge!

Forget Xfactor try the WOW-Factor. We own a Touring Hobby Caravan - on season 4 permanently sited at Keltie Bridge Caravan site in Callander. The owners extend the warmest welcome, they try hard to accomodate all needs and work tirelessly to ensure your stay is a pleasant one. The site is a great size and has lots of natural features like pods to picnic under, log seats grassy areas to run and play on plus nice planters to enjoy. This site is a wee gem of a hideway in a tranquil setting. The toilet block is spotless at all times with lovely floral display and the showers provide heavenly amounts of hot water. There are amazing walks around the area and Callander town 5 mins drive or lovely walk via country path has plenty of shops, hotels, restaurants, cafes. Lovely riverside walk to childs fun play area. There is a lot to see and do all around the area and suits all ages and abilities. Ben Ledie for the adventurous, Loch Katrine for the cyclists, walkers or for some tranquillity take a boat trip and relax. We love weekend respite, mid week peaceful rests and full holiday times at this site and have no desire to move. Highly recommend

To review or not to review? This is one of those sites you don't want to review and risk it becoming so popular you can't get a pitch!
It's a gem of a site, especially now the new toilet block is finished, and I was more than happy to stay longer than we intended because of our car trouble.
I can't really add anything much to the previous reviews, except to say that it is also a great place if you are a nature lover:
It's quiet - apart from very noisy oystercatchers - despite being so near the main road.
There are some lovely walks from the site - we had a lovely walk up the glen past the falls, through woods full of bluebells.
While on site my daughter saw an otter in the river, I had a very close encounter with a hare and a small deer charged past our van and up into the trees one evening.
I can't speak highly enough of David the manager, for whom nothing is too much trouble, and who was willing to help us out by keeping our van when we had to leave it owing to aforementioned car trouble.

Great site with all you could want. Easy walk to Callander and nice cycle route.
Found the management to be very pleasant and my pitch was great.
You takes a chance with the weather as it rained a great deal but the sunshine came out and it made the hills come alive.
Callander has a a great selection of bars and places to eat, and the shopping is well, Tartan and wollen mill central.
Will be back soon.

This must be the most improved site in Central Scotland. It is one of our favourite sites and since the new wardens too over it has just got better and better. Will be using it regularly this year again Dave the manager is really helpful and can't do enough for you. Great walks and cycle tracks
It has become so popular that is is better to book in advance so your not disappointed. Callander has something for everyone and is worth a visit.

Used this site for the first time, will not be the last, been to Callander many times but somehow missed this little cracker. Very nice couple who could not do enough for us, toilet block really clean, overall site really clean and tidy. Easy straight drive into town where there a few good pubs serving good food, chippy's and even a wee Christmas shop. We will be back here. 10/10 from us. Thanks

Great caravan site. Wardens very nice. Toilets are very clean, as warden seems to clean them constantly. They have a laundry room but I cannot comment on it as I never used it. Only thing missing is a playground for children. Callender has lovely shops and I recommend the old bank for dinner. Will be back.
