Well this was the first time we had been camping in years, we arrived to a very friendly couple who own the site.
They were busy but still found room for us and even better still took the time to talk to us.
The site has everything you need, the showers are clean and tidy, the toilets are fresh and there are water points scattered across the site and its feels like your are always near one.
We enjoyed it some much we stayed an extra night and are now about to book another couple of nights for a few weeks time.
We have to admit we have the camping bug and this site and the owners have helped us with that.
A great site, great facilities and run by a friendly couple.

Nice enough site, but when we hadn't parked quite on the correct spot, we were told there had to be 5 metres between units, so we moved a few feet. Later, another motorhome was allowed to park within eight feet of ours, but nothing was said.
Although the site advertises only 50 pitches, there seemed to be a lot more occupied than that - this made the 2 Gents' cubicles ridiculously inadequate.

We loved everything about this site. The managers are very friendly and helpful - a great improvement I am informed!
The showers are separate from the toilets but in the same building. The showers were the best we've found - you can control the temperature and turn on and off as needed. The toilets were spotless and even had fresh flowers on the worktop.
There is a lovely walk from the end of the site which is great for the dog. Its a well kept site and the new managers are actively improving the site.
The lovely little town of Callender is only a couple of miles away and there are walks and lochs not far away. The site has a very peaceful feel and we would not hesitate to visit again.

Well this was our third ever camp site as we have only recently got into caravanning, we thought Nhoas Ark in Perth was good (which it was ) but the welcome got at reception was the start of all the good things to come about the site.
We called on the Friday morning about a pitch and were told that they were pretty full but would fit us in (Phew). When we arrived we were almost given an personal guide to our pitch, I think they would have driven our car there if they could and at a reasonable price of £14.50 a night we thought it was very good.
Papers, rolls, bread could be ordered on site, but the local bakers van visits the site as well. We were on the bottom field and was a little walk to the toilet /shower block but cant complain.
They have a lot of plans for the site and if they can get it all in place it will be a gem of a site. We will be backsoon

This is our first visit to this site this season and what a difference, even the entrance is welcoming. The new managers are very friendly and have great plans for the site including a new toilet block for the tents. Where else would you get a spotlessly clean site for 13 pound a night ?
We also have a dog which was no problem as long as he was kept on his lead which is as it should be. There was the addition of a children's ball playing area and for the first time since we have been visiting this site, the grass was being cut (by a lawnmower, not the sheep during the winter )
We were also asked if we wanted to book a particular pitch.

Stumbled across this campsite by accident a few weeks ago and decided to go camping last minute, as couldn't find any teepees or cabins due to it being school holidays.
How glad was I to arrive there, it was getting late and kids were getting bored. The people there couldn't have been any more pleasant and helpful and it was cheap as chips
So from now on when camping in that area I will be back there defo, also toilets etc. were perfect

Decided to try this site after reading reviews that the site had a new warden. The best move, as the cost per night was amazing value for money with very friendly staff.
The toilet block seemed to be getting cleaned all the time, how they had time for this whilst checking in new arrivals is beyond me but their dedication to the campsite was terrific.
The site would benefit from having a second toilet block, which is in the pipeline, however we loved this site and will defo return. A 20 min walk into towncentre with good choice of tourist shops and Tesco local(open late), walk can be done in reverse by exiting site at rear and walking via The Bracklinn Falls into town.

The new Managers (just taken over this season) have totally changed the appearance, cleanliness and atmosphere of the site. Gone is the Grumpy Old Man, arrived is a enthusiastic, very hard working, pleasant, extremely helpful couple. (plus child friendly also).
The site has only been opened since 1st April and the changes already are unbelievable. For all those who said I won't be back (and there were many) please, please go try again. You will not be disappointed (and almost half the price of other local sites) with the most beautiful surroundings.
There are now picnic tables and benches dotted about, Flowers everywhere and 5* toilets (with lovely fresh flowers). Hope you enjoyed your stay and the friendly welcome as much as we did. Go on have a stay there it's sooo much better now.

We have been to this site many a time over the years.
The new Managers David and Apetha were most welcoming and gave you a very personal welcome to the site, this site is going to become a gem as they are planning to invest and develop the park to its potential.
The management put on a free easter egg hunt and face painting for the children on Easter Sunday which was magnificent and now plan to do more for families.
The toilets were cleaned night and day and the site was packed, I saw the managers several times in one day up cleaning the toilets.
I have always had a soft spot for this site but now I can see plans for the future and the right people in charge to drive it, I will certainly be back a lot more.

Have stayed at this site on many occasions. Excellent situe for walking to Bracklin Falls and Callander. Site facilities are good and wardens are very helpful. Peaceful and quiet site, where your holiday is only as good as you make it. Just wish we could order more sunshine and have less rain. Looking forward to the coming season and many more in the future.
