We visited this site for the first time in Sept 17. The site is immaculate. The caravans beautiful, comfortable, modern. It was the best site we have stayed in by far in Cornwall. What we look for is a home from home as we travel down regularly to see our grandchildren. It will be our number 1 from now on. Perfect.

Absolutely loved this campsite. Cleanest toilets I have had on a campsite in ages. Good, hot showers, only downside was depending how busy they were sometimes the water pressure went. Apart from that the bike ride near by were great, you can cycle to the beach, the on-site shop was great, the pizza van and cocktail lady on Monday were an amazing treat. Great park. Kids felt very safe. Would definitely recommend to anyone and we would definitely go again.

This was our 2nd visit to River Valley; the first time we stayed in one their mobile homes which was really comfortable and immaculate and this time was in a tent. Both stays were great. We had a larger pitch which was perfect for a 6 man and a 2 man tent with room for the car to be parked at the front. All pitches had space around them to allow for some privacy. The showers and toilets very clean and plenty of hot water. Having visited before I was of the pool which is an added bonus and kept my son and his friend occupied several times a day.
I would highly recommend this site for its friendliness, cleanliness and location.

Monday 24th July travelled down from London not as far as some, oh what a delight to see that we had made a good choice of site. Check in was so easy just walk in give name get barrier card and out no mucking with filling in more forms, I must add that pre arrival information from the site couldn't be better. The pitch we had chosen was ideal on a corner, next to a low hedge and fairly easy to back on to. There are plenty of fresh & waste water points scattered about so where ever you are you haven't got to drag your container very far. There is a nice play area and a zip slid for the slightly older youngsters and also space for ball games and just running about. The toilet block was spotless with smashing showers, there is a family bathroom for those who don't like showers, I can't emphasize enough how clean and tidy the site is. If you want to go out and about then you couldn't wish for a better place. I will recommend River Valley to everyone who will listen.

We have just spent 2 fabulous weeks at river valley holiday park. A great camp site. Great for children with the park and indoor pool and the toilet blocks were spotless. The pitches are very big with plenty of space to park you car and also to put up a pup tent.

Had a lovely stay at this site. We stayed here before in 2001 when our children were small and enjoyed it then too. Nice clean site, well laid out, happy welcome on arrival, pitch was easy to locate. £10 deposit to get a gate pass to go in and out refundable on leaving. The toilet block was also access to the swimming pool which wasn't too deep and never that busy, although the boiler wasn't working when we went it still wasn't too cold with the sun shining on it. There was a toilet and changing rooms in there as well and a shower but I preferred to use the showers in the ladies as there was only a shower curtain so only good really for a quick rinse. The toilet block itself was clean, two loos separate from showers although I found another one behind a door in the shower section, maybe a sign on it to say loo would be helpful. The loos both had sinks inside with them but the hand dryers were outside the door so the handles were always wet if someone had just used them. Never had to queue for showers although one was facing the other way round so when in the water you were squashed against door. The water ran under the door too so invested in flip flops so my shoes didn't keep getting wet. Ample water points around the site, although the water pressure makes filling a bit slow. Nice big bins with recycling. Our dog really liked the dog walk along the river and we also enjoyed the walk along the cycle path to pentewan. Big play area, still had the zip wire our kids enjoyed in previous visit but didn't need it this time. Plenty of dog friendly pubs and places to visit around the area. Asda and Tesco not far down the road, as well as KFC. All in all a very good site and would definitely stay here again

Very nice site, clean and tidy, lots of things in play park to keep children happy. Swimming pool which is an asset. Nice layout of accommodation. We may even be back next year sometime. I was most impressed with the staff who were most accommodating. There is just one thing which we found a little difficult and that was filling the van with water, not the sites fault but ours for not having the right equipment to do so.

Well presented site. Easy check in on arrival with a warm welcome. Static caravan was spotless and comfortable. Relatives said the toilets and showers were impeccable. Swimming pool was very good. Dog walk was a pleasant stroll alongside a stream. Would not hesitate to use this site again.

Been coming to this site 40+ yrs and it and the area always deliver. Clean site and facilities and very friendly staff. Took advantage of there 7 for the price of 5 deal too. I would recommend this site for peace and quiet and even the road noise doesn't worry. No noisy club house here!

Spent a week here and despite lots of rain and high winds were very comfortable. We found everything very clean and appreciated the extra little touches and the friendly welcome. A very quiet and well maintained site and ideally situated, would not hesitate to recommend and we hope to be back next year.
