Lovely, clean, well kept caravan park. Friendly welcome on arrival.
Nice little play park for smaller kids but not a lot to entertain older ones who didn’t have much supervision from parents. Maybe a specific safe area for ballgames etc would help. Kids on bikes racing around the one way system…the wrong way. Had a couple of near misses ourselves.
Will definitely go back again though but will avoid school holidays.
Loads of lovely walks available through outstanding scenery.

Well maintained site surrounded by beautiful scenery. Pitches well spaced.
Riverside pitches don't really have a river view so not worth chasing. Best access to the river is a short walk up river.
Can't comment on the toilet facilities but hand sanitizer all round the park. Public toilet in town centre open.
Ballater has some nice little shops and some good walks nearby.
Only issue was the lady at reception wasn't the friendliest.

Lovely site, nothing to dislike. One of the best, if not the best we've stayed on. It's a community run site with all profits going back into community benefit so you not only get a lovely stay but the added bonus of helping the local community.
Immaculately kept and very level pitches. The shower block facilities are marvellous, roomy cubicles and hot water with plenty of pressure. Plenty of sinks and toilets too and the room is kept nice and warm, my wife and daughter are very fussy and it got the stamp of approval from them.
Alfresco dish washing sinks, which is nice. They are covered though so don't panic given the occasional rain that falls in Scotland.
Very quiet site with a well observed and monitored noise policy from 10:30 - 8:30. Don't think though that this means it's not family friendly, far from it. The play area was always busy with kids during the day and evening and there is plenty of room for kids to run around.
Staff are friendly and helpful. Short walk into Ballater with good facilities. Nice dog walks along the riverside directly from the site.

Just spent a week at Ballater and could not fault a thing. The park is beautifully presented, pitches are very generous.
Showers are the best yet on any site I have used. Piping hot, good water pressure and sparkling clean.
The staff were all extremely friendly and accommodating, working hard to keep up, the high standards on the park and making sure people enjoyed their stay.
The area is beautiful with lots of interest for almost anyone. Shops and eateries are only minutes walk away and catered for all we needed. We were really lucky with the weather too!
This park will be a favourite of ours and we can't wait to visit again!

The best showers I have ever found on any campsite.
The site is immaculate. The staff are friendly and genuinely want you to enjoy your stay here.
The site is in a small town at the side of the river just a few minutes walk from plenty of places to eat and drink.
We were on motorcycles, and felt welcomed which isn’t always the case at some sites.
We will definitely be returning.
