Fantastic campsite with a brilliant proper pub attached.
Great food, beer and staff.
Matlock is only 15minute drive away.
Darley Dale is 10mins drive away with a coop, chip shop, petrol station and butchers.

Fantastic night spent here with the girlfriend.
Very nice friendly local staff.
Very nice food in the pub, had a pie on Saturday night and a Sunday roast sandwich both some of the nicest food I have had in a long time.
No rush to move in the morning either. Lovely chilled out weekend will definitely be back again.

Lovely gated campsite behind a great pub.
Fabulous location for access to the Limestone Way, and Winster itself is a gorgeous little village.
Has showers, chemical waste disposal, fresh water, everything you need.
I’ve only given 9/10 because EHU wasn’t available, would’ve been 10/10 otherwise.

Great site in a picturesque location, The pub on site is a bonus and very welcoming.
Quite a basic site with 2 toilets and showers. Great for bigger groups who want to chat round a camp fire.
Will certainly return

Fantastic stay yet again. Lovely cosy pub with friendly staff.
We didn't eat here as had already had barbecue but will definitely be trying on our next visit.

Fantastic views and scenic roads all around.
Large site with good camping facilities. Dog friendly site and pub.
Great pub in a beautiful old building. Good selection of drinks, nice food at very reasonable prices, friendly staff.
Only negative, as I arrived quite late the pitches available had sloping edges. Not a show stopper, but worth remembering.

Great site, clean facilities, really good food and local beer in the pub, staff were so friendly and helpful.
Some of the other "residents"were a bit inconsiderate about noise levels late at night (it was a weekend, so maybe not typical clientele), but this didn't really detract from our enjoyment.
An excellent, refreshing break for us, thank you, to all at the Miners Standard who helped make it happen.

This is a campsite in a hidden and very picturesque part of the Peak District. The scenery is stunning.
The campsite itself is attached to a historic pub, which serves great beers and fantastic food.
The toilets and showers at the campsite are spotlessly clean and well maintained (although the showers do cost extra at £1 for five minutes!)
The field itself is sloping, which could be a problem for some campervans but I had two great nights of sleep in my tent and a lovely laid-back atmosphere on site.

Lovely friendly site, reasonably priced.
On a slope so you need to pitch carefully in a tent.
Clean showers and toilet facilities.
Great food at the pub that won't break the bank. Winster is lovely with plentiful walks along the Limestone Way and round about the village, Hermits cave, Robin Hoods Stride etc.
The addition of hairdryer plug points in the shower would be a bonus.
