Lovely place to stay, hosts were so friendly and the food was great. Couldn’t be more helpful.
The location was scenic and lots of local activity which was nice as although rural still busy.
Would definitely go back

Really nice campsite. Food was lovely at the restaurant and all the safety guidelines followed.
Felt secure with the lock on the gate and the kids loved it.
Beautiful view over matlock! Shame it was so cold.
Could do with some sort of play area on site for the kids or activities to keep them entertained.

Loved the location of this campsite, views to die for, pub fantastic so friendly staff and locals.
Dislike the slope, but then you wouldn't get the views,
Toilet and showers always clean always.
Pub food fantastic, would definitely go again.

A very very packed camp site, partly to be expected due to the heat and summer holidays. However thought they may look at space due to current covid situation.
Overall a decent place to camp out with beautiful scenery (although less able to see the scenery due to how many people, cars, tents and vans were within the space.
NO covid mention or measures put in place to protect or remind people, ie space etc which was very surprising. It was as if covid wasn't acknowledged there.
For a family. Not great sleep as music going until midnight and due to compact camping, sounds from those near by kept us awake.
I would return probably only off season and without children. Or at least with older children.

I’ve stayed here before and really like it.
I stayed with a camping buddy in tents. Had a fab evening, dropped into the pub for a pint too. The showers and toilets have been revamped I think.
Good controls re COVID-19
A great place to come with great views.

Absolutely love this place, the camping area, the pub, the facilities and the owners are just so chilled and easy, we have been going here for a number of years.
Ref covid they had it sorted and we felt safe and confident, it was relaxed and everyone practiced social distancing, anti bacterial stations situated throughout, everyone was mindful of each other’s space and it still felt relaxed.
Facilities are basic but everything you need and exceptionally clean,
At £5 per night this is definitely value for money,
If you love a small village location overlooking fields and a farm this is the place x
We will be back x
