Had a lovely 3 night stay here. The site is beautifully kept and the shower/toilets were spotless.
Though the site was busy, it was quite peaceful and restful. Did day trips out and enjoyed the surrounding countryside. The site doesn't have a playpark, but there was young children who were riding their bikes, in a safe environment.
We shall be certainly returning
Thank you for a lovely time.

Absolutely adore this site and it's always our first choice for a relaxing break away.
The people that are sited here are always friendly and helpful but the Sharon, who owns/runs really goes out of her way to assist you in any way that she can.
The toilet/ shower blocks are always spotlessly clean and the people staying there always seem to clean up after themselves too which is a welcome change.
The pot washing area is full of leaflets for things to do. Sharon has also left menus for the local restaurants which helps you decide where to go if you want to eat out. There is a special dog walking area for those wanting to walk on site too.
The only noise you hear is the gentle crunch of stones under foot from people walking.

Absolutely loved this site. So peaceful and quiet. Toilet and showers lovely and clean and the owner was a lovely lady and very helpful. Surrounding area is lovely too and so close to the canal for lovely walks and only ten minutes to the nearest shop. An absolute gem of a site. We will be back here again soon. Thank you for a lovely stay.

We’d reached Glasgow having already been on the road the previous day as well for nearly 10 hours. We “stumbled” on this beautiful site and called. Sharon was extremely accommodating and confirmed we could stay for the night. Everything about the site is without fault. The pitches are beautifully laid out and clean, the toilets and showers are spotless, AND it was quiet, we really wished time had allowed us the luxury of staying an additional night or two. There is absolutely no doubt we will be returning.
Thank you Sharon and your partner!

Stayed at this site for August bank holiday. Pitched right opposite reception. Sharon was very welcoming and informative as to the site facilities. Very pleasant and peaceful camp, exactly what we were looking for. We had our dog with us, and she loved the walks and the ball field. We went a walk along the canal, then went for a refreshing drink snack at Smiths. Would highly recommend the site.

Just returned from this pleasant little site, after a lovely quiet three night break. Nice flat pitches, beautifully clean showers and toilets and a good washing up area. Staff very friendly, and well priced. We could choose any pitch we wanted, that was free. The grass was waterlogged, and we couldn't put our dogs out on their 'spikes' for a bit of air - but we have had a lot of rain. Liked the dog walk, and the field that's mowed round the edges so you can give them a proper run. Shame the pubs are not within walking distance - the roads weren't safe to walk on, no footpaths, and we didn't go to the canal for the same reason. Could have driven, but I like a pint, so we cooked every night in the van. It was a minimum of a 3 mile drive to a supermarket to get supplies, but not too bad. Witin striking distance of St Annes. Blackpool and Cleveleys. We will be going again, it was EXTREMELY quiet, great for us, but I wouldn't take my grandchildren there, they'd be bored rigid.

Just spent a few days away at this caravan site. The directions to the site are good and the entrance well signed. When you turn onto the tarmac drive you drive over two cattle grids and follow the sign directing you left, if you go straight on this takes you to the CL site. Reception whilst we were there was open 10:00 to 12:00 each day. You are advised to arrive after 12:00, there is a sign on the door advising you to ring a number. We arrived around 12:15 and rang the number as directed. Sharon arrived within a couple of minutes gave information regarding the site and advised to choose a pitch.
The field without the toilet block was full of what appeared to be seasonal lets. We were quite happy to be on the other field which had the reception and toilet block on site. The site roads was limestone gravel with slate chips for the hardstanding. The pitches were a good size we didn’t need an extension for the ehu. There are a couple of water points, I found it odd that there was no grid at the drinking water points. The waste water and elsan point are at the side of reception, in front of the bins and recycle facility. The grounds were well maintained, the grass was cut whilst we were there probably in advance of the weekend. The site slopes slightly down to reception but we did not need levelling blocks. The sanitary area has ladies, gents, disabled facilities and two sinks for dishwashing/food preparation. The gents has 2 WC’s, 2 showers, urinal and two sinks. The lighting in the gents is timed by PIR, don’t spend too long in the shower or you will have to get dressed in the dark. In the entrance hall you will find a leaflet display for local attractions. You will also find a list of shops and supermarkets nearby as well as menus for a few pubs nearby. My favourite was the Smiths. If you walk there are no footpaths and the trip to the Smiths meant crossing a railway bridge and a canal bridge without being able see any oncoming traffic.
There is a ball field for children to use and a dog walk. There were many dogs on site but all were well behaved.
We went because it’s not too far from us and we wanted a rest before taking our grandchildren to France. It was quiet and peaceful. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Within minutes of advising I had a problem with the mains electric the EHU bollard was checked and although no fault found the electric mysteriously came back. We found the site handy for visiting Lytham and Fleetwood Freeport. We would have no hesitation in returning.

Lovely small site close to Preston. The site is level throughout and all pitches are large hardstandings. Well spaced at angles so no serried ranks and the grass between was well kept. The very clean and well kept toilet/shower block was empty each time I visited and there was plenty of hot water in the showers. Reception is only manned for 2 hours but a telephone number is clearly visible if help is needed or on arrival. This is a peaceful spot close to the canal for walks, or a short walk into Lea or the Saddle pub. We were able to use the park and ride at Portway, Preston as there was no height barrier. Quick and frequent service into the city centre.

We arrived on site to find our car battery to be flat, without requesting help the owners of the site gave us a jump start using their tractor.
Lovely people, great site, some good old fashioned assistance.
Many thanks once again to the owners

As a caravan park owner myself I was very very impressed with this site. Everywhere immaculate. A lovely welcome on arrival and shown to my pitch. As I had my dog with me I was shown to a huge field where I could walk my dog. Toilet facilities were spotless when ever you visited them. The little villages around had all flower containers on the side of the road, it really was a beautiful area in beautiful unspoilt countryside. I would not hesitate to recommend this site to anyone visiting Blackpool and the surrounding areas. I will definitely be back. One of the nicest sites I have ever stayed on.
