What a superb pleasant site it is. 1st class pitches and facilities in lovely surroundings. Three pubs within walking distance for eating out.
The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. Convenient for Preston, Blackpool, Trough of Bowland and many other local attractions. I only live half an hour away but I shall definitely be back - and soon.

Fantastic site with lovely owners, friendly people on site, lovely countryside location, close to blackpool and I will definitely go back, shower block toilets and facilities 1st class.
We had a great day stay, saw new born lambs in field next to campsite. Lovely area, nice pubs nearby, canal walk nice and it was nice to wake up with farm noises of animals on farm.

Visited Brylea over the Easter Holiday period. Location between Preston & Blackpool. This is a new site (2009) and a lot of thought & effort has gone into the site. A cheery welcome was received.
Pitches available where hardstanding (which don't pool water after hard rain) with electric hook up and a good size for caravan & awning. Access to the toilets was by key and there was of a high standard of cleanliness throughout the whole of the period. Free showers of the push button type which lasted 60 secs between pushes and were just the right temperature.
The pitches were reasonably priced none of the £25 - £30 a night nonsense here because its Easter! There isnt a children's play area at the moment but if you take a football, frizbee, kite or a set of boules then your sorted for kids / adult entertainment. If you enjoy taking the dog then the site provides a dog exercise area & a field. (Do use common sense with lambing season in progress & keep dogs on leads).
A 10 minute walk from site is Lancaster canal dotted with some watering holes. In fact if you enjoy pub lunches then you cant go wrong in the area whether by road or canal. Visited the beach at St Annes with its pier & Les Dawson statue. A caravan and a motorhome dealer is only 10 minutes drive from the site for any essentials or upgrades.
The sparkling lights of Blackpool is approx 15mins drive away so its great to come back to a site without fruit machines, discos & bars. We will be visiting again.
