Stayed on this site 1-3 July, 2 adults and 3 grandchildren ages 7-6-3. , the cost for us was £15. 00 with electric hookup The site is well maintained, toilets and showers spotless there are 2 toilets and two showers in the ladies, there is also a disabled toilet. This is a working farm so expect to see sheep and cows. The e/h did not reach but don't worry because the owner has a few spare she will lend you another one.
We had a glorious weekend the weather was beautiful so we really enjoyed it. The saddle inn just down the round has a restaurant and a fab kids area with ponies and birds and rabbits food ok but I had steak and ale pie it was not too good as the pie had potatoes and carrots in it and not much meat otherwise the kids enjoyed the park area. We went into kirkham a nice town with lots of shops and a morrisons too. We will be back to this site this year. There is no play area for the kids but plenty of space to play.

We spent a Bank Holiday weekend at Brylea. At £18-50 per night it was very reasonable. It is a small, well-maintained extremely clean site, with lovely countryside surroundings, and a couple of pubs within walking distance. The washing up facilities are immaculate, as are the toilets and showers.
Not too far from Lytham and St. Anne’s which are both lovely places. Supermarket nearby.
Only criticism would be the lack of a play area for the kids, although we were allowed into the adjoining field to play football. And a very small dog walk. After saying this it was our second visit and I dare say we’ll be back again.

Went to this site with friends and this was where we tried out our airbeam! nice small site but very clean and not a long hike to toilets ect, was windy while we were there and I am told its like that most of the time,
My wife got told off for dog being off the lead but apart from that we was left to our own devices for the weekend, nice pub along the lane and about 4 miles to the biggest asda I have ever seen! some nice fields for dog to get some exercise too,
I can say that even with the airbeam it enjoyed my stay and would return no worries

Had a fab time over May Bank holiday weekend. Toilet and shower facilities were spotless and them having central heating in them was an added bonus.
Lovely owners who were very friendly and helpful. It is a working farm with beef cattle and sheep. We pitched on hard standing and there was still plenty of room for the awning and car. Had a couple of guys help us put up our awning up in the wind.
All the other campers and caravanners were friendly and the kids all played together.
Beautiful area with some nice walks. Kids could play in any field the animals weren't in, which was great for my lad playing football. Pub within walking distance (Saddle Inn).
Good food and kids play area. Other pubs within driving distance and Lea Town about 5mins drive away, where there is a Mcdonalds and Morrisons supermarket.
We are returning to Brylea Farm this weekend as it is a lovely site and loads more to still see.

Excellent site,Very Clean,Friendly welcome, proved a great central location for the parts of the North west we wanted to visit. Nice and quiet area, Highly recommend Brylea. Shall definitely be returning here in the future.
Ground is Level so ideal for pitching our large tent, and Electric points as well which made the stay even the better and easy for ah lass. All users of the site were also a good bunch very friendly and helpful. Excellent prices. Fishing pond would be a superb addition somewhere near by.

Made this our first stop over for two nights on our way down the west coast heading for Bath. There is a Caravan Club CL here, but we use the main site, not for any special preference. It's a lovely, quiet site, very good access, lovely clean toilet block, great TV reception and very friendly staff. Another bonus is that it is very close to Preston where our daughters live, making visiting very easy. There is a bub close by, but we tend not to use pubs etc, preferring to cook our own food using local produce. The only slight downer is the surrounding grass areas are quite soft especially in wet weather, but this won't stop us returning in the future.

Stayed here for a week (2 adults and 6 year old twins and a dog)and found it to be a lovely site. Facilities clean and warm, and even though there are only two showers and two toilets (in the ladies) we never had to queue once. Site is well maintained and the owners are only too happy to help with any problems. Everybody adhered to the quiet time at night and were very respectful.
Nearby pubs are good too. We ate at the Saddle Inn which has a nice large playground for the children (we sat outside)and serves nice barsnacks. We also ate at the Windmill Inn who allowed us to take the dog inside and again this was nice food. Visited Lytham (great for walking the dog over the dunes next to the sea) and St Annes (on the beach as it was before 1st May). Kirkham town is 10 mins drive and is a great little shopping area, has everything you could need whilst away. Theres a couple of hardware shops, banks, pet shop, reasonable size Morrisons, chemist, co-op, plus others. If you walk through Morrisons car park and turn right you can reach a children's park which has just been re fitted and is great. Across diagonally from the park is a field which you can let the dog run around in. Apparently if you walk past the field and past the memorial and turn left there is a walk that takes you under a railway bridge, however we didn't venture this far so can't comment.
There is no playground for the children at the site however they are allowed to play round and about without any bother. The only negative point I can make is that the dog walk is only about 50 yards long and as it was next to fields of sheep I was loathed to allow the puppy off the lead (just in case he decided to venture unaccompanied). There is a field next to the site that you can use if there are no sheep in, however it was occupied all the time we were there and again still wouldn't have risked it, and so had to go out in the car to take the dog for a run.
Well priced site and overall a lovely site and would recommend a visit.

We have just spent a great weekend at this site.
Having just bought our Camplet, we used UKCampsite.co.uk to find a site not too far away from home. This one took us 40mins door to door, but this was far enough to get away and out into some super countryside.
This was our first trip in the Camplet so we were glad of some good weather to iron out anything we missed (or had forgotten) from our 'how to erect it' session at Camperlands.
Yes there were a lot more bits to put together than they told us about! Bed slats, curtains, skirts, pelmet, just to mention a few!
This is a great site. Clean showers and toilets. Friendly owners.
It was lambing time. We managed to watch one being born and my OH bottle fed two little orphans. Something she had wanted to do all her life.
Would we go back? Oh yes! At £15 per night including EHU, its a bargain.

We have just stayed here for Three nights even though it is only 20mins from home, it provided the ideal location to check everything after the winter layup.
As others have said the site is lovely and clean and the owners were helpful when needed.
There is a dedicated dog walk big enough for the early morning & late night visits and the canal is just 5mins walk away for longer walks.
The downsides we found were, you cannot adjust the shower temp so if you have children take care. As already said in other reviews the hard standing pitches will only take caravan & car or caravan & awning for all 3 you will have to put something on grass which when we went was very soft (but it was early march). Also would be better if they had an information area in the toilet block for local pubs and attractions as the office was shut a bit during the day. (maybe different in busy times).
Would we go back again, YES

As we were mainly visiting family in Preston the location was great and we stayed for one week. Toilets were very clean, wash up area great. The only few negatives are: a) the very soft grass, but at this time of year is, I suppose to be expected and we stayed of it as much as possible; b) Site was very busy and an early shower was advisable. Though we never used it there is a pub a short walk from the site which, according to our family has a good reputation and as it was coming up to Halloween we were treated to a firework display which proved entertaining. Great site, staff very friendly and helpful and we'll be back.
