Greeted by a very pleasant young man who showed us our pitch.
Lovely, peaceful location with great views of the estuary and Pont Hafren. A good location to stay if visiting North Bristol. It was lovely to return to the peaceful campsite after the hustle and bustle of Bristol.
The camping field is flat and well maintained. Hard standing with electric hook ups, ample space for awning and space for car on hardstanding in front of the caravan. Hot showers and clean cubicles.
Interesting and enjoyable stay on a family run working farm. The owner is very friendly and helpful and has very good knowledge of the local area.

We really enjoyed our stay at this campsite. It was a great location overlooking the severn estuary and the Bridge.
Close to lydney and chepstow for access to shops plus a dog friendly site. Ideal for us.
Facilities were excellent, clean and tidy. And camp site was well maintained.
In my opinion great value for money. Would use again.

We love this site, nothing is too much trouble for the Hosts.
It has amazing views across the river and is so peaceful.
It is a 10 minute drive into Chepstow.
There is a Gurkha restaurant within walking distance.
It is a lovely restful place for a weekend

Lovely quiet site based on a working farm with a fantastic outlook over the river Severn.
The hosts, Christine and her family are very friendly and accommodating and knowledgeable of the area and things to do. Facilities eg toilets, showers and washing up area are kept clean, stocked and in good condition.
We have been to this site a few times over the years and the level of cleanliness and hospitality have always been exceptional.

We stayed for a couple of nights whilst meeting up with friends locally in Tintern (20 mins away)
Lovely flat, clean and well maintained campsite with easy access.
The Owners and family were very helpful and welcoming.
Toilets and showers very clean.
The local pub (The Rising Sun, Lydney) highly recommended, but remember to book!
Nice to be on a working farm.

Great site with lovely views of the Bristol Channel and the two bridges in the distance.
We were made very welcome by our host who explained where everything was and the options for pitches.
The toilet and shower block was lovely and clean and there is a useful sink outside the block for washing up.
Pop down to Lydney harbour at high tide to see yachts coming into the locks, also go also at low water to see the incredible difference in tide height, the Bristol channel has the second highest tides in the world.
Also go up to Gloucester Quays, good outlet shopping and great choice of restaurants.
We will revisit the site when we are next in the area and would certainly recommend it.

My husband and I stayed here for two nights this weekend.
The site is absolutely lovely, very well maintained, nice facilities and everything clean, tidy and well organised.
The site owner Christine is a complete joy and we really enjoyed having a couple of chats with her over our stay. The view of the estuary is great, the site is easy to find. Nice a quiet, dog and family friendly with lots to do nearby.
There is the added perk of it being on a working farm with 3 very friendly inquisitive cows often coming up to the fences to say hello and for a nose rub.
We are already looking to plan our return visit and spread the word amongst our friends.

Such a lovely site! So friendly and approachable.
We went with two young children which was fine because they love being outside and just playing, also close enough to get to the cycle trails and walks etc.
A nice secluded place with beautiful views. Had everything you need. Will defo be going again!
