Great location with wonderful views of Severn estuary. Pitch was very flat and level. Electric hook up and water next to pitch. Several water taps on site.
Very friendly owners.
Only criticism is that the great waste could do with being at or closer to ground level so older people do not have to lift their waste masters to empty into the raised drain.
Showers/toilets not open due to Covid restrictions.
Lots of walks and pubs nearby. Also close to Chepstow and Offa's Dyke path.
Will definitely revisit for another relaxing break.

Lovely, peaceful location with stunning views. Great value for money and a very warm, helpful welcome.
Travelled with my husband and 13 year old son, he loved seeing a wide variety of animals and wildllife (including a Mother pheasant teaching her babies to fly🙂) Interesting to stay on a working farm, didn't disturb us at all. We enjoyed watching an amazing thunder storm over the Severn.
Great base to explore the surrounding areas we will definitely be back for a longer visit.

This was my first visit to this campsite and I was very, very impressed. The owners are very friendly and welcoming, the prices are competitive, and the campsite itself is superb.
The camping field was nice and flat, and there were plenty of electric hookups available. There is a shower and toilet block as well as a very clear bin and recycling area.
The location on a working farm was an added feature that we all loved and the views over the severn were breath taking. The campsite has many good pubs close by to eat out, and Chepstow only 10/15 min away if you need supplies.
I will certainly be using this campsite again and cannot recommended it highly enough.

Good hard standing pitches, with great views over the river and onto the 2nd crossing bridge on a working farm.
Large flat grassed area for campers who didn't need hookup.
Access from A48 could be challenging depending on direction of travel.

Warm welcome, great views of river Severn, the Severn bridge and well maintained level field.
Short distance to lovely pub/restaurant (travel by car not safe to cross busy road on foot).
Ideally situated for Chepstow and Tintern.

Lovely open view of the Severn Estuary.
Good space for a variety of units.
A very nice toilet block.
A good location for our visit to Forest of Dean/ Somerset and Gloucestershire.
Satisfactory walks from the site for our dog.
Interesting to see the farm working at harvest time.
Farm dogs, when loose, were a worry - after one of the four "attacked" our small dog.
No clear advice on bins etc for recycling.
Mixed loos a slight worry (for men) with very young girls running about in the facilities. Playing in the toilet blocks is the issue.

Lovely site and very clean toilet/shower block.
Owner very helpful in every way even pointing me in the direction of a lovely pub (The Rising Sun Woolaston) for my tea, well worth a visit.
Lovely views over the river and surrounding countryside.
If I go back too the area again I would stay here without a doubt.

Have been to loads of campsites over the years but can definitely say that this lovely little campsite is in my top three as one of the best.
Good level field, good clean showers and toilet.
Stunning views of the river Severn and lovely walks.
The owners Paul and christine were very helpful and always on hand if you needed help. Me and my wife will definitely be going back there

Stayed only a couple of nights to attend a folk music event at Tintern Abbey. The field is very level and firm. Facilities are generally in a cabin unit and unisex, clean and tidy and working fine. The 'front' side of the field closest to the river is normally for tents, with motorhomes and caravans asked to use the hard-standings on the opposite side so that they don't block the view across to the Severn. As they weren't very busy we were allowed to use a corner near the front.
The only facility which could do with improvement is the sole dishwashing sink in a surrounded and covered scruffy cubicle open to the front and with a stone chippings 'floor'. This area wasn't very clean - maybe down to the previous users?
There are cows in the field adjacent to the site and these wandered up to the fence to check out our dog, so make sure your pets are cow-proof. Only pity is that with all the unused land there's no secure off-lead exercise area for dogs.
During the day there was some traffic hum from the A48 but there were no problems at night and you could describe the site a s peaceful. There are no shops nearby and eating out is at the Woolaston Inn, requiring crossing the busy A48 on a bend with high-speed traffic.
View of the Severn bridges at night is spectacular.
