We stayed for 3 nights in the middle of the heat wave and got a great pitch under a tree in the shade.
This is a very friendly site with level pitches and lots of room. There is a bar and fish and chips shop on site.
Manorbier beach is a twenty minute walk away and the train station is only five minutes away. Tenby is ten minutes by train at £3 return. The Castle Inn is in the village and does great food.
The only complaint I had was that the showers were 50p for 3 minutes which considering the price of the pitch is a little steep.

There is a charge of 50p for 3 mins of water, the coin box is outside the door and the water starts as soon as the coin is inserted, therefore you loose valuable water time while you undress. Also toilet and washroom are clean but need upgrading. Other than this the site would be lovely. We were in a large field which was well maintained. There is a small bar on site which was friendly and the owners had various events in the evenings

Nice field for camping, albeit the site is in the middle of nowhere, its easy to find.
The club house is very very small, shop has no stock & the on site chippy was awful. No play area for the children although plentty of grass for games and the shower block (charged) whilst clean had no hot water at 7am running luke warm.
Its a quaint little site that that seems to be still in the 80s. May not be everybodys cup of tea but its cheap & cheerful.

I don`t very often post a review about a touring site but felt I had to about Buttyland.
On arrival we had a warm welcome and shown the facilities. Once we were pitched up it was down to the bar for a drink. Our first greeting was from Clint the owners dog (I named him Clint Eastwood because he wears a bandana) real name Tetley. At the bar we met Amy, a very friendy young lady who soon realised my favourite tipple(Guiness) which she always kept well stocked up.
Amy is also a great cook, lovely fish & chips, as is her mother Liz who cooked us a great steak for our Anniversary. Thank you Liz. Just a word to Peggy, I am going to print a load of Scottish fivers for next year, so look out( only joking Revenue & Customs)
We also met the owner of the site Damion, a very friendy gentleman. We would also like to thank the master of all man, ie cuts the grass, sorts the bins, patrols the site etc and his friendly advice.
To sum up, my wife and I had a great holiday at this site, despite the weather. We will definitely be back in 2013. We wish you all the very best, and keep up the good work
The next day we hopped on a Train into Tenby, the station is only a 5min. Walk from the site and at £2. 90 return, I thought was brilliant, plus the fact they run on time.
The facilities on this site are excellent

Had a fantastic 2 weeks at buttyland touring park. Unfortunately we had to cut our holiday short by two days due to the weather. The park is a lovely
place to stay. The owners are warm and friendly. Excellent facilities. Could do with shelves in the toilet block to put wash bags on. And maybe larger shower rooms for the larger person.
Overall an excellent stay. A good base to tour around West Wales and all the attractions Pembrokeshire has to offer.

We have just returned from a four night stay at Buttyland and we absolutely loved it ! ( we even booked an extra night at late notice ) we had a great deal from their website of `
14 a night for four people !
The facilities were basic and clean with one shower block and toilets which were cleaned regular.
We played bingo in the bar which was great fun but they only served cans which was slightly disappointing and enjoyed chips from the on site chippy.
The pitches were spacious and we had 3 together and even had a fire at night
The area is lovely although a good 20 mins into Tenby and only 5 mins by car to the beach and we visited Folly Farm which is a wonderful day out.
I would definitely recommend this site and we will be visiting again soon as it was such a bargain and had most things we required from a site.

Stayed here with a tent for our first family camping trip. Lovely site with large level fields.
Shower facilities were great. For us campers without electric hook up, the fridge and freezer on site were extremely useful.
There was a small amusement arcade but the kids enjoyed the football pitch much more! There was also a diner on site which was great for the evenings when you didn't want to cook - although it could have opened a little earlier for breakfast!
We would definitely return here!

Booked in by helpful staff, large site not one we would usually choose. Large pitches but to close together.
A lot af large family groups, some playing loud music throughout the day and late into the evening.
No play area for the children to play, just a field. Stayed two nights, second night kept awake until 4 am with people drunk and swearing, felt sorry for the families with small children.
Shower block and toilets small considering the size of the site, not the cleanest. Wash up area in between toilets and chemical toilet waste area, this was not very clean you could also see straight into the gents toilets from the wash up area.
Surrounding area, beaches and coastal path, beautiful.
The Sun pub in St. Florence, good food and live entertainment on the Saturday night.
Would return to this lovely area but would not stay at this campsite,

Stayed over the Jubliee Bank Holiday weekend with friends.
The Campsite was fairly easy to find and is of a good size. The Facilities are ok Showers are coin operated with ample time to wash etc. They were fairly clean and were always hot.
The site isn't completely flat but drains well as it had rained cats and dogs on two of the nights we were there.

This is quite a large campsite just a short drive from the beach at Manorbier. Tenby and Oakwood Theme Park are also within easy reach. There are local shops nearby and a railway station and bus stop are within easy walking distance.
We stayed on the caravan area near the toilet block which is not level, but the pitches are of a good size, plenty of room for caravan, awning and car. Electric hook ups are easy to access and there are some hard standing pitches available.
There is a large open area for the kids to play in, however, other than a goal there was no other equipment for them to play on and this seemed to lead to a lot of kids playing around the tents and caravans. If you are the sort of camper that is not keen on people crossing your pitch then think carefully before coming here as we couldn’t fail to notice quite a few campers (adults and kids) short-cutting across the middle of pitches.
The toilet block was acceptably clean considering the weather with toilet rolls provided in the 4 ladies and 4 gents toilets. There are 4 wash basins in each room with a mirror, peg and a soap dispenser at each basin in the gents, not so many in the ladies.
Be aware that when standing at the wash basins in the gents you can be seen from outside whenever the door is open, which it always was. There are also 4 showers (paid) and a basic laundry area. This did not seem like enough facilities considering the size of the site but I didn’t see any queues.
There is also a bar that advertises Sky Sports. At night the site was quiet and there was never any noise from the nearby railway.
