Stayed at this site with my wife and 3 children in the middle of the summer holidays and thought it was wonderful. Tourers and tents set up in two large fields but electric hook-ups are limited. The fields are mainly very flat with lots of water taps dotted about, one field has goal posts but both have lots of room for children to run around and make new friends. The toilet / shower block is basic but kept clean. There are only 6 showers (3 men, 3 women) which can mean a bit of a wait at busy times and the cubicles are small which means clothes get wet if hanging up (remedied by putting clothes in carrier bag) but this would not put us off camping here again. The owners were very friendly with lots of local knowledge and happy to give advise on where to go. The site 'shop' has frozen bread and milk and just a few other basics but is not run to make money, it is really there for emergencies only. Chip van had great chips but seemed to shut early. Garden centre over the road from the entrance had Tea room that also served reasonable Sunday lunch and catered well for our nut allergic daughter. My only other slight gripe is the small bins which filled up quickly and the absence of any glass or plastic recycling. Overall a good site with basic but clean facilities, well located to explore Pembrokshires beaches and towns.

This site has now changed hands so maybe it will be refurbished. There is plenty of room on the site as a whole but with electric hook-up we were only a few feet from neighbours to the side and back of us. Overall we had a noisy week there as the new owners issue no rules about behaviour and also accept large groups. We left two days early as a result. Is walking distance to the beach although at around a mile not with young children and beach gear. The facilities are very old and although basically clean the buildings are bedecked in cobwebs etc.

Just cameback from this site. Nice big site with lots of space for the kids. It needs alot of updating as the electric kept going if more than one person had something plugged in. The showers are not baby friendly but you can manage. The toilets need updating. Think the owners are doing a good job with the site as they dont seem to stop, but like I said certain areas need updating

We had a very pleasant stay at Arreton, now known as Buttyland. The site was quiet at night, no disturbance at all. Drainage was superb, when it rained the ground dried very quickly. Toilets are in the process of being upgraded as the owner has only recently acquired the premises. Very friendly owner. Made our stay exceptional. Amenities are basic, however the price per night reflected this. We only look for a base to stay and so don't want to pay over the odds. We will visit many more times I'm sure.

Just can back from Arreton campsite. This is our second visit and what can I say. We stayed for 5 days at a fantastic price. The facilities are clean and all working including the dryer (wish I had this at home) The owners are friendly and approachable and made our stay very welcome and secure. The situation is perfect for visiting local attractions and of cause the local beaches. The site has a football pitch in the middle of the camp, fantastic opportunity for the children to wear themselves out. Will definitely be back next year and just to make things better the sun shone all week. Sincere thanks to the owners for a fab holiday, no TV no psps, no Xbos360 and all that stuff, just listening to the children reading themselves to sleep listening to the sheep settling in the meadow and the night owls, haven't heard one for years. Many thanks came home feeling refreshed.

A great camp site, a real gem. Good basic facilities, multiple water points, enclosed washing up area with washing machines and driers, free showers (although a little basic), a chest freezer for all to use (a really nice touch). The camping fields are relatively flat and well laid out (not a huge number of electric hookup berths) and a real plus point is that the staff are extremely friendly and helpful who do not tolerate any rowdiness or noise! This last point has been most useful as I have had family holidays spoiled by some real prats who think it funny to stay up drinking and talking till 1AM with no regards to those around them. I`m no saint, but I do have consideration for others and know when to quiten things down. The only down side really is the absence of a camp shop (but it does have a mobile fish and chip van - very nice!) however, Manorbier village is an easy walk and the main town of Tenby is 10mins in the car. I really enjoyed my camping holiday with my son here at this park and I will return in future. P.s. I read some reviews posted by others about this site and was staggered by what some people say. If all you have to whinge about is toilet paper and how the showers aren`t like the ones at home then don`t bother camping or caravanning - stay at home. Its meant to be a bit rough and ready but obviously some people are too soft these days!

I visited this site with my wife and two kids and found the site to be in a lovely location and close to all of the best sites. The facilities on the site I thought were below average, the toilet blocks needed updating and were not always clean. The on site shop was ok. The washing up facilities needed to be under cover, if its raining you get wet. We paid £14 per night which when you look at other sites with better maintained facilities is fairly high.

Very pleasantly surprised when our gang arrived at the camp site, as the field was of a good size and virtually flat. The children had plenty of room to play outdoor games and the football pitch encouraged all children to play together! The shower block was cleaned regularly ( which is nice to see) The staff were friendly and very helpful, close to local attractions, can't wait to visit again this following weekend.

We have visited Arreton before when it was buttyland and when we turned up, we were pleasantly surprised at what they had done. They have 're-vamped' the entrance, had the floor tarmacked and 'posh' wooden fence with lovely hanging baskets. It was a complete change from the 'old' hedged and made it feel more up market and welcoming. The layout was pretty much the same. Three fields, one with held long termers, the second which had long termers, tents and caravans, and the third which contained tents, used as there over flow field. There was plenty of room between myself and the next tent. We had a lovely view of the hills. The grass was nice and short. As for the shower blocks. These were kept exceptionally clean due to the fact the grass was freshly cut and there were many people on. The floors were always being mopped by the same too people who infact did everything. The toilets were kept clean and the laundry room was always cleaned except after someone had used it. The staff were lovely, very helpful and kind. Always had a smile and if there were any problems, they were more than welcome to help. They dont tolerate any noise or disturbance. The one night, there was some noise coming from across the road so we reported it and 10mins later, there was silence and didnt hear a thing for the rest of our stay. My partner and I highly recommend Arreton if you want a warm, welcoming, relaxing site that is family orientated. 10/10 for what we wanted!
