We booked a 10 night stay at this park and left after 2 nights. Unfortunately the facilities on site were poor, showers and toilets were outdated and unclean.
The park was very noisy (we have 3 teenagers so did not expect total quiet) however children were playing out until very late and then people returning from the entertainment in the early hours added to the noise.
Our pitch was used as an access route to other areas of the touring field with people squeezing down the side of the caravan at 1 & 2am! Security were visible but this did not seem to deter people from doing whatever they pleased. The park has very few rules and this was evident in the lack of respect shown.
After very little sleep we decided to put in a complaint and after being offered a refund we packed up and headed for home.
The reception staff were pleasant to deal with and did not hesitate to offer a refund of the remaining days.
The site charges around £30 per night and in addition to this the pool, entertainment and fishing are all extra, which all makes for an expensive holiday.
The location of the site is fantastic with access to the beach and plenty of tourist attractions in easy reach, with some considerable updating and enforcement of rules this park could be a very pleasant place to stay.

You can only book on-line for this campsite which immediatley went wrong because we were billed twice. This then took numerous phonecalls to rectify. There should be an option of phone booking as well.
When we arrived our family was separated over a great distance, there was no just cause for this as the pitches much closer were never used during our 4 night stay.
There are rules plastered everywhere, 1 tent to a pitch, no gazebos on non-electric pitches, no pot washing, no parking within 3 metres of another pitch, no under 18s to use the jacuzzi, no under 18s to purchase drinks at the bar (they mean soft drinks too)and so on. The most offensive was the 'vacate by noon' which is literally everywhere, making you feel that you have outstayed your welcome before you even begin your holiday!
There is a security van that drives around all day staring at peoples pitches, I can only assume that it is on the look out for people breaking gazebo and 2 tent to a pitch rules, because it was certainly nowhere to be seen when the gales wrecked everyone's tents and the campers could of done with some useful help.
The only communal area for people to sit is tiny and part of the noisy arcade area. Otherwise you have to sit in one of the bars, which means you feel forced to buy drinks.
Some of the tent pitches are so sloped, I have no idea how people used them.
The views from the top of the campsite are fantastic.
The entertainment is good and the entertainment staff are brilliant. The bar staff were nice too, but reception isn't the friendliest, just adequate.
The shop is well stocked, but fresh veg/fruit would of been nice.
The only food we had on site was kebab and pizza, both were Ok.
The toilet/shower blocks are not that far away from public loos. Some blocks are better than others, but overall in comparison to other campsites they are really basic. You have to pay for electric too ie drying hair etc.
I am afraid to say that I will not be revisiting this campsite or recommending it.

This holiday centre was rubbish. A few good points, but not many.
First Impressions:
We got there, and 4 security boxes stood out. Got to our pitch at 4:30pm. Reception closes in an hour. If we were an hour later, we would have to have a scruffy temporary pitch.
Staff:
Friendly. One good point. We had 1 tent and 2 storage tents in a standard, non-electric pitch, suited staff fine, as long as you didint sleep in the storage tents!
Toilets and Showers:
A pain when they were closed for cleaning, the shower floor was dirty, but the showers were nice. Both good points done. Toilets 2-3 star.
Freezer Blocks:
There weren't any. We asked, and they said no. So we asked a friendly elderly couple in a caravan.
Dish wash:
3 sinks in most toilet blocks, then a whole room in the camping main shower block. Clean. Bring your own wash bowls.
Baths:
I believe there was baths somewhere on the sight, supposed to showers.
Family block:
There were around 8 family shower suites on the site, with a bigger shower, toilet and a sink. Dirty, though.
Club area:
Bingo: top prize, a pushchair. We didn't do it! £2 passes. Take-away looks nice though we didn't use it.
Location:
Nice. Short walk to the beach, (North landing, ) nice family run cafe there. Visit the cafe
Opposite, (in Bridlington, ) the spa entrance, got a big yellow sign. Board outside. Good, cheap food for all.
Overall:
Would recommend for no-body.

Unfortunately we didn't really take to this site, perhaps partially due to the high winds whilst the rest of the country was bathed in sunshine!
Its a large site which is almost exclusively very dated, from reception to loo blocks. At check in we were given a map but no info sheet which is surprising given the size and amount of facilities on site.
The pitches are large but some have severe slopes - beware - they also allow tents in the caravan area, which increases noise levels as campers tend to be in larger groups and more active outside. There's plenty of security which is both reassuring and worrying - why is it needed!? The loo blocks are plentiful but poor, one step up from public loo's with painted over graffiti and small showers providing hot water in 3 second bursts!
The complex is fine, modern and loads of bars for different tastes, although the gym, sauna and jacuzzi are extra - outrageous when paying £30 plus per night. The pool is included but open for limited hours, as is the shop - strange in peak season?!The shop itself has lots of cheesy gifts and very little fresh food just tins and frozen. Lots of other smaller sites have much better shops with fresh baked bread etc etc, more evidence of the time warp I'm afraid.
They have a coffee shop with wifi - pay extra again - which was built on a budget with cheap table and chairs. Plenty of staff on duty but they didn't seem to be able to clean up!
Location wise its a short walk to the coast with cliff top walks and spectacular views. However the local cafes and seaside areas are also very dated - back to the 70's in decor, staff attitude and quality (selling out of date crisps for 20p, but wont allow dogs for hygiene reasons, go figure!). On site the grass is kept golf course short and great for dogs!
Nice chippy and I had a good afternoon watching the test match in the Cobble!

We have just returned from an enjoyable five night stay on this site. It is a large commercial site, with pool, gym, club house, take away, cafe, arcades, entertainment etc.
We were impressed by the spacious touring pitches (some were sloping though). Our pitch was facing a small park - there was a larger park located next to the entertainment park. The parks certainly helped to keep our girls entertained, but there were lots of older children who also liked to gather at the park and not use the facilities for their intended purpose.
There were ample toilets and showers - but the hot water did run too hot to safely shower young children (the swimming pool showers had a more constant temp). The facilities were clean-ish, but could do with some updating. One of the soap dispensers in the toilets remained empty the whole time we were there and on another occasion someone had either fouled on the shower floor or let their dog do it.
The notice boards around the site contained out of date details about the entertainment - though this is only a minor gripe, the site missed a great marketing opportunity to promote what was on. We also felt that the reception staff could have provided more info on arrival - that said they were friendly and helpful if asked directly.
The entertainment delighted the children, though us adults could have happily have left it well alone.
There was a small charge for the swimming pool (weekly passes are also available), but we were happy to pay and get a nice warm clean pool.
The beach next to the site is stoney, but has some great caves worth exploring - whilst Bridlington boasts several other sandy beaches, all worth a visit.
The site had a visible security presence, but there didn't seem to be any occasion that we saw when they were called upon.
Overall we had a great time and would return, but this site could be fantastic rather than good if the management made a few changes!

Just back from a 3 day break away with husband and step daughter, picked this site for it's family orientated theme.
Easy to find and reception staff very friendly and helpful. Shop on site is very good, stocks food, newspapers, cheap toys and bits and pieces for your tent and caravan, all at reasonable prices, only drawback it closes at 6pm.
Site is big and has several toilet blocks. We were on an electric tent pitch and on a slope! Quite a lot of the tent pitches looked to be on a slope too, makes cooking on your stove a bit of an adventure. Not sure what the other toilet blocks were like but the one near us (we were in the 300's) was not particularly clean or tidy.
First I put this down to arriving on a Sunday before bank holiday and lots of kids, which would be understandable but by the Tuesday when a lot of tents had gone the toilets were in the same state. Even 10 minutes after supposedly being cleaned!
Lots of toilets with no paper and not flushing properly (not sure what the mens were like). Showers are free and plenty of hot water. Two electric points in the toilet block at 20p per use.
Several bars in the 'entertainment' complex, one adults only which we didn't try and and one for families (this one needs a pass to get into, £2 a time but they last you the length of your visit and can be got from reception).
On a weekend there is entertainment for both kids and adults, during the week for kids only. My step daughter is nearly 12 and found this entertainment a bit 'cheesey' but the younger kids loved it and the girls doing it were fantastic.
Two small arcades and soft play area for kids to play in (arcade is free entry but soft play area is £3 for a number of hours), small indoor pool (couple of quid to get into apparently). Cafe on site does a wide range of food at reasonable prices, didn't try the fish and chip shop.
Some campers were noisy, one night music until 2 in the morning which is not very impressive. Security staff do patrol frequently but only from the safety of their van so not sure just how much noise they hear!
Thornwich Bay and Smugglers cove is nearby (left out of the site), definitely worth a visit, Flamborough lighthouse is also worth a visit and you can walk to Sewerby and Bridlington from here.
We enjoyed the holiday overall but if just myself and my husband were going then we wouldn't go here again. Definitely a family holiday site not a quiet couples site.

Just got back from a few days in a static. Site is massive must have took us 20 minutes to find the van.
Really well kept site spotless, really helpful reception. Nice chippy on site, tried internet cafe for a sarnie, wouldn't have fed the bread cake to the seagulls so didn't bother again.
Didn't have kids with us so didn't bother with the entertainment but looked to be plenty going on. Would use again.

Visited this bank holiday and allocated sloping pitch. Asked for non-sloping. Purchased passes for facilities and during day queues out of door as main bar not open on a match day! Did not need passes as did not go swimming or to shows - full as can be expected on a bank holiday.
No facilities to bathe babies, no bench to place them on after shower. Playground for children was new but inadequate in size for the site. However, children played in dark on it until 10.15!
Sunday - tent pitches abandoned due to high winds. Damaged the majority of tents especially those on the slopes. Outwell Vermont XL could not stand the high winds after several hours of it. Metal poles snapped. Loads of campers left early with damaged tents and wet contents. Another successful bank holiday.

Our first camping trip ever!
We stayed 3 nights and loved it.
We pitched with and ehu just near the play area and shower block. Showers were clean and hot.
Only issue I had was when they cleaned them the block was closed (no notice was put up when we were there and it was earlyish on a morning so people were wanting to get ready)
Play area was great for the kids.
Loads to do on site with the pool and amusements.
Staff were friendly.
Bridlington is a short drive away and was great massive amusements on the front
Will def be going back

First visit to this site, plenty toilet blocks, large club house, heated indoor pool, on site shop, close to beach, children's play areas, dog friendly. Close to Bridlington, Cayton, Village, Filey, and Scarborough
Too noisy for us though I am afraid, campers returning from club houses late, children playing loudly till after 10pm,
Sorry, this is not a campsite for the quiet and discerning looking for a relaxing break and we wont be going again.
For such a big site with security, the rules could be enforced better to make for a better experience.
