June 2204 Spent three nights here. The tent section is right at the back of the camp and so it is nice and peaceful. Lots of toilet blocks so wherever you are you don't have to go far. Water taps are also plentiful. Facilities are nice and clean. The swimming pool is lovely and only 1.3m deep at the deepest end and a paddling pool at the other end so ideal for small children. Regular patrols are made by the warden too so security is quite good. Some nice walks near by and there is Cavells pub just down the road which allows children and dogs in, the beer is good too! The site shop sells everything you can think of but closes at 5pm. There is a cafe which is fairly basic but worth a trip if you have kids because they have a fantastic ball pool! I would definately go again.

june 2004 Just got back from a 3 night stay here. Prices have changed a little from when the last reviews were written. It's now £15.50 per pitch with electric hook up plus £2.50 per night for pup tents and gazebo's. Club cards are now £1.75 each and only last for a month instead of the full year. Our pitch was on a slight slant we realised when we got in bed!! Too late to take the tent down and re-pitch so we had to roll into each other at night! Pitches are a good size though and water taps are very near by. Shower and toilets are kept very clean and the washing facilities are the same. Excellent amenities for the kids here but they are a fair walk away from the camping field which is way to the back of the campsite. There's always a breeze here aswell with it being so near to the sea but this was refreshing on the hot days. The club is excellent for the children but does get extremely busy at weekends. You need to be there for sevenish if you want to get a seat for the night.

sept 03 I like the idea of each pitch having a little fence around it,although adequate it would be better if the pitches were bigger . The site was clean and well kept. WCs were nearby but the entertainment complex was at the other side of the camp.
Prices were £18.50 for 4 adults to pitch for a night with electric ( included club passes for a year but we only stayed one night). Chips were £1. The bar was selling double spirits for £2.10. Appologies to normal people reading this as I have no idea of cost of bread, milk etc ;o) .
It`s a large commercial site with the usual kids, noise, etc but overall I liked it and it`s a thumbs up. Would go again. Bestyman

August 2003 Visited this site 3 times this year. It is a fantastic site with great views. There is entertainment every night which is suitable for all ages. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Our children aged 11 and 7 love the place. There is a nice indoor swimming pool but we found it can be quite expensive if you go every day. Will certainly be back.

July 2003 Good site with plenty to do in a fantastic location. Tent field divided so each pitch was clearly marked. Good place if youve got kids.

July 2003 A very large site which caters for everyone, however the tent field is situated right at the back of the complex and is a long way to all the amenities, but have the advantage of great views over the sea. The fences around the pitches came in handy for drying washing on. Would definatly visit again.

July 2002 Used to be a great site, had many a good holiday there until the new pitches came in. No getting to speak to the neighbours now very isolated. Won't be going this year it's changed for the worse unfortunatley. Why change a good thing I just don't know.

2001 It is a big site with a large club ,fish and chip shop, swimming pool ect.We haven't been this year yet, but last year it was £10 a night with free showers and hot water. Its a pound to join the club for the year, or was.The camping field is divided up into numbered pitches with wooden fences so you have plenty of room.
