This site is huge, mainly statics. The touring pitches are invidually fenced off and a very good size. Shower blocks could do with being updated and a few more adding (3 per block, only 2 blocks). Plenty to do on site, pub, club, play areas etc. Good chippy on site and shop. Nice walks along the cliffs, plenty of room for the kids to play. Would return again but would not go during peak season.

Stayed for 3 nights here. 5 adults and 3 children in a ten birth tent. My parents had a static caravan here when I was little so knew quite a bit about the site and area to start with. Having not been for 16 years I went back with my family.
We were impressed. We had a large electric pitch(number 195)which was plenty big enough for our tent (Wynnster indus 10) and 3 cars too. We liked the fences around the pitches as this stopped people walking across and also there was no coming back to the tent to find someone had parked right across your doorway!
The showers and toilets were always clean to say that the site was full when we visited. Never had to wait to use showers on a morning or evening.
Some lovely places to visit around the area. A few small bays, the steps to which have deteriorated since we were last here so be careful!
The club was good but busy in the main family bar and no seats left if you got there late! Shop reasonably priced. Games area inside club complex for kids. Swimming pool was extra.(£2.25)The security was good. Patrolled from 6.30pm onwards with dogs. Also had security cameras around the tent site.
Some nice pubs to visit for meals on an evening. Viking on road to north landing, caravel at north landing, dog and duck in the village. Site also has fish and chip shop and takeaway serving pizzas etc which is open til midnight.
Be sure to walk to the beach if you can, numerous different ways down there and cafe at the top. Turn right out of tent area, then next right down the hill and over road, then follow small pathway, over style and you will see the cafe from there. We also visited Bempton Cliffs where you can see the birds on the cliffs and look through telescopes.
The playground on the site is small for the size of the site. Bearing in mind that when we last visited this was 2 separate sites and therefor used to have 2 playgrounds and 2 shops/clubs etc. Think they need to think about adding another 1. There is also a gym and fishing pond on the site. We have visited a few sites and this one was by far the cleanest, had the best pitches and numerous other things. We liked it so much that we have booked to go back in October for 3 nights! Can recommend this site to anyone.

I have visited Thornwick and sea farm holiday centre 4 times this year. It is a lovely fun happy place. Everything is clean ie the toilet block, showers, swimming pool and the park. The shop is fully stocked and reasonably priced. Entertainment on an evening is excellent the entertainment team are very professional and excellent with the children, also the shows they put on are of a high standard. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a lively family holiday.

Just come back from a 4 night stay in a tent(first visit to site). Pitches are well set out and large enough to accommodate large tents with plenty to spare. Toilets blocks where cleaned twice a day and children loved going in to piped radio station while they showered. Purchased passes because we thought they covered the swimming pool but this was extra, it only covers club. Shop well stocked and cheap enough, although on road to brid is a supermarket for all other products.Plenty of areas for children to play, and dog owners are asked to walk dogs away from main areas and clean up but this was not always done. Very secure site, noticed cameras in our camping area which gave peace of mind late at night when visiting toilet block, and also bumped into walking securty (with very large dog) in the early hours, they also do a drive patrol. Just outside site is a lovely walk to a bay that I never knew was they which had a small cafe, and parking is free. Lighthouse as a lovely cafe which serves nice meals but can get very busy which coaches. I have been coming to Bridlington since a small child and love the area, but now I have found new things I didnt know where there. We enjoyed the site and will visit again.

Stayed for 3 nights, 2 tents, 4 adults, 5 kids and 2 dogs. Toilet blocks could do with major up grade on the tent site, although clean showers had nails in door to hang clothes on. Felt ripped off with paying extra £2.00 per person for entertainment, when we arrived all seats taken, seems you have to turn up really early to get seats and also every one is dressed up to the 9's so we felt a bit out of place. Thought the deposit on pool cues were a bit much £10.00 especially as there was a member of staff located near the table if we have to pay for passes don't see why sight of these could not be used as they have your pitch number on them. Site is ideal for a short walk to flamborough head, however there is a notice that you should not walk over the cliffs to the lighthouse due to erosion. An extremely nice local gentlemen gave us a tour of the caves on flamborough beach. Flamborough town has plenty of pubs, a co-op if you want to buy in your beer and we tried out the Chinese take-away which was very good. Went to Sewerby Hall, all ages enjoyed and only £10.00 per family excellent value.

We love this site every one is so helpful, it's lovely and clean. The pitches are great, the evenings for kids are great fun and a laugh and the kids club during the day is good. The only downfall I have is that there should be more then one park for the size of the site. The baths are nice and the shop has everything you need There is plenty of grass to do all sorts of sports, like flying a kite, playing football etc. We have been two times up to now for a week at a time and planning of coming again.

Visited the camp site and we were very happy with the friendly and helpful service from the staff along with all facilities, the shower + toilet blocks were very clean there was plenty off hot water all the time and with two little ones that is always a bonus. The entertainment was excellent plenty of fun activities for the children and pj the dog is also a hit with the children and the adults too, the swimming pool was very spacious and was heated which is always good. Also the lake is not to far it is about a 5min walk from camp , there is a shop there which sells fishing tackle among other things. We also found the shop on hoilday park very reasonably priced, The tent areas are very spacious and because the pitches are sectioned you have no worries of over crowding . Myself and my whole family found the whole expirence of Thornwick + Sea Farm holiday park very enjoyable and will most definitely be visiting there again.

The sites facilities for us were second to none, the toilets were clean and the pitches were well kept. The shop and cafe all had produce that was reasonably priced and had an abundance of variety. The children's entertainment staff were fantastic and could not be faulted. The surrounding areas are beautiful to look at and we cannot wait to come back this month (July 07) my only criticism of the site is the distinct lack of security at night an we did have to sort out a rather nasty episode of fighting ourselves for the sake of the children, I feel that as the site is so big a few more men patrolling would be advantageous. Apart from this we had a great time and cant wait to get there this year.

Lovely site. Very clean especially the toilet/shower area and plenty of lovely hot water to go around. The Staff were friendly and very helpful. The downside was (and I am sure this was just a one off) there were quite a few noisy foul mouthed young people who were very loud from around midnight to one or two in the morning and although it did not spoil things for us it wasn't very pleasant. The tent and tourer pitches are a nice walk to the site 'centre'. The swimming was a bit pricey (£2.25 per person) but definitely worth it. The entertainment for the younger children was very good in the evening and there is a nice park/adventure playground for during the day. There are some lovely walks down to the beach but beware some of the access points to the beaches are not at all suitable for young children (and most adults to be fair!) There is a cash machine on site but unfortunately it was broken whilst we were there which meant a drive into Flamborough (The machine in Flamborough is inside the Co-Op - turn left at the Post Office which is on the left just after the Monument Garage) for cash but the Site assured me that it doesn't break very often. The Monument Garage is the cheapest place to get Gas refills in Flamborough. A lovely weekend will definitely visit again.

Having just returned from a week on a tent pitch, I can say I will not be returning. The pitch itself was a fantastic one, it was a standard electric one, which I can not praise enough, but for the rest of it, the facilities were poor, the entertainment at night for the children was the same every night, the pool which is 2. 20 per person, was closed on monday and tuesdays, and open 10-12. 30 wed to fri, 10-5 sat and sun, the arcades opened at 6 and closed at 9 pm, which is poor as we had teenagers with us, the on site shop was supposed to close at 6, but we went at 5. 30 one day and it had closed early!, basically it is a poor second to haven, but considering the pool etc at haven is free, and with their being 6 of us, it would have not cost anymore in the long run to go to a real haven. If you like to make your own entertainment it is great, but as we paid to be entertained and wern't, it was a disappointment all round.
