A good, family friendly site with lovely owners.
We have stayed here a few times over the past couple of years with a tent and touring caravan.
Pitches are a good size but remember your levellers as not all are on flat ground. Beautiful views.
Toilets and showers are clean. Kids play area is good, although busy at peak times.
Bread and milk can be purchased from the farmhouse.
Easy to get to Wareham or Swanage.

We visited this site in August, just before the bank holiday. Had a lovely time. The site was clean and well maintained, although some of the pitches were were not on a level footing.
Showers were by tokens and were fine although it wasn't until day 3 that I found some showers with space to get dressed within the cubicle. Playground was well used, my only objection being, children were allowed to play there till 11pm! We were in the field furthest away from toilet block, quite a walk with a 4 year old who was 'bursting'!
The owners were very organised, with names on each pitch, although they could have waited until we left before putting the next campers name on it. Pitch needed to be vacated by 11, which is quite early, and the next people for our pitch turned up at 9. 30! Packing up with people waiting is extremely annoying.
There is fresh meat on sale on Tuesdays and Saturdays, although we were not there to buy it. The site is in a very quiet area but the site itself was quite busy when we were there.
We went on the swanage steam railway, parking at the Norden park and ride, £2 for the day. Train was about £10. 50 per adult for a return journey, well worth it, albeit expensive if you have a large family. On a rainy day we went to splashdown in Poole, a pool with hundreds of slides and things, well worth a visit.
All in all, we had a lovely time and would stay here again.

East Creech Farm is in a lovely part of the county with many places to visit in the area. The campsite was very busy when we arrived and as we wanted 2 pitches together we only had one choice where to pitch.
The owners were very friendly when we arrived but we only saw them that one time. In general we enjoyed the site with the exception of some very noisy people in a touring caravan who didn't observe the quiet after 11pm and 'the toilets'.
Don't understand the thinking in putting the children's play area right by the toilets where kids used them as an extension of the play area. Think that the women had the better end of the deal as the mens were permanently busy no matter what time you visited.
Would also have been helpful for shelves to put toiletry bags etc.
This was our first visit to this area and thought that the coast was breathtaking. We couldn't believe however how expensive the parking was everywhere we went. Must recommend the Bournemouth Air Show - which was brilliant.

We visited this site in August we were 2 familes with large tents and six children aged between 2 & 10 years.
When we booked we were told that we would be in the overflow field which we were a bit concerned about as were told that it was over a road and a couple of minutes from the toilet block. On arrival we discovered that it was quite a trek to the toilets, play area and dish wash area, especially with the younger children.
However despite our initial concerns we pitched up and had a lovely holiday- the big advantage of the overflow field was how quiet it was compared to the main site,
there was plenty of room to pitch and a huge field for the children to run around, play and be noisy in without having to worry about cars or disturbing anyone.
We were in the corner of the field at the bottom of a small hill and really did feel we were the only people there! There was also a small wooded area (completely enclosed) that the children could play in and build dens etc quite safely.
It very very quiet at night so easy to get everyone off to sleep.
We did buy a bucket to overcome night time treks to the toilet block!
The main site was lovely although busy compared to where we were, but the showers and toilet blocks were always clean and we never had to queue despite the site being full, The only thing we had to queue for was the dish wash, but the kids were very happy to spend more time in the playground while we waited!
The family showers are ideal if you have a young family- we could fit 5 in quite easily and a couple of tokens did everyone, the water temperature was not adjustable though, and was cooler than I would have liked but just right for the children.
The owners were very friendly and the kids loved collecting chicken eggs, seeing the animals and exploring the woods around the site.
Would definitely recommend this site, and would ask for the overflow site if we returned.

Having just returned from an enjoyable few days at East Creech, there are many positive things to say.
Firstly, the site is reasonably priced for the facilities available.
There didn't appear to be any hidden prices, such as the excessive £10 per night gazebo charge that we recently experienced at a New Forest campsite. There weren't too many rules and regulations with a sensibly suggested noise reduction at 11pm. Everyone appeared to respect this.
Secondly, pitches are of a good size and most are fairly close to the toilet block. I would describe the toilet block as functional, and my only gripe was twice inserting tokens and finding no water appeared! As I was ready for the 6 minute window this was rather annoying!
Thirdly, the site is very well situated for many local delights such as Studland Bay beach and Lulworth Cove - the walk to Durdle Door is definitely a must! Next time we'll make sure we walk to Corfe Castle.
Finally, if you love cider and a pub that hasn't succumbed to the restaurant culture, visit the Square and Compass at Worth Maltavers. Live music and pasties, plus great walks along the coast.
Yes, we will be back, but please make sure the shower is working!

We have been to this site three times now, I don’t think we would go back again. The reason we have spent 3 weeks here is due to the price, which really shows in the price, they always say you get what you pay for.
Whilst the owners are nice and polite they do not police the site the children in the play area can be a right pain in the evening as are the dogs.
This site does accept well behaved dogs on a lead but numerous owners let their dogs run free and foul where they want without cleaning it up, this has happened on numerous occasions.
This site is quite noisy and the toilets are only cleaned once a day, so they are very dirty in the evening, whilst the owners clean the toilets about 6. 30am they could be a bit quieter as people are sleeping.
The site is in a lovely location and they could charge more if they could be bothered to look after their customers without dogs and children, it seems they are willing to take the money but not really give a service once they have it, then again they were originally farmers, they just need to realise people want a service for what they pay for.

Enjoyed just under a week at this lovely, friendly site in beautiful Purbeck, Dorset. Pitches are large and spacious, with good space in front and a reasonable distance from your neighbours 'across the road'. The owners are very friendly, and extremely helpful.
Toilets are clean, but we didn't use the showers at all, so not able to comment on their quality. The site itself is nice and tidy with well trimmed grass (no clippings left around for you to walk in to your tent/caravan!).
As previously said, the views across to Bournemouth and Poole are lovely, especially with the early morning sun shining on the sea. A nice place to visit for a walk with views is Arne RSPB centre, just outside Wareham and quickly reached via Stoneburgh.
There are no close shops for supplies - Stoneburgh is the nearest about 3 miles away. The farm sells bread, milk and ice cream - all the necessities! We had a lovely time, and will certainly return.
Ps: It was lovely to hear the children playing in the woods on the site. Also there were 3 fishing ponds for use by visitors to the site. We didn't use them, but did walk around, and they looked great. Those using them looked very happy.

This is in a lovely area, so much to do! We visited Durdle Door, Lulworth cove, Corfe Castle, Studland beach, Kingston Lacy house. The views from the site are great hills and Poole harbour which on a clear night you can see the fireworks from.
The site is basic but adequate. We were camped 'free range' as the owner put it. Unfortunately some people seemed to spread a lot especially near the walkways to the toilets, many with 2 cars and 'enormous tents'.
Showers do get dirty especially the family rooms but the paths are dirt tracks so to be expected and it wasn't even wet when we were there. You need tokens to use the shower which isn't a problem unless you forget them or are half way through shaving your legs when the water goes!
Site is quite exposed therefore windy and even with sunshine it felt cold due to the wind. Kids had a lovely time in the play area although perhaps could do with a few more apparatus to keep them busy. There are no roads to a lot of the pitches and people are reluctant to move to allow cars to pass which is a bit annoying.
We will return again only because the area is so nice.

Just come back from a fabulous weekend here. Would very much recommend to family campers of all units! We had a tent with electric hookup, quite reasonable at 14. 90 a night.
Toilets were fine, showers work off a token available from the farmhouse (50p a go) water was hot and we never queued to use any of the facilities despite the park being busy.
The pitches seemed well spaced, there were plenty of things to keep our 2yr old and 4yr old busy. Fishing v easy on three ponds. Lovely weekend break!

Stayed over the BHL weekend. Very friendly welcome. I think we were lucky with our pitch. We were positioned opposite the children's play area. Having previously thought this would be a nightmare I was pleasantly surprised.
We could keep an eye on the kids from a distance and enjoy a glass of wine. If you want a bit more peace and quiet the site is big enough to accommodate. However, having said that, come 11pm all the kids disappeared and didn't reappear until 8am.
We found the showers fine and used the family rooms. Again, ideal for our purpose. The floors did get dirty quickly but what do you expect on a campsite on a BHL. My wife saw them being cleaned, only for them to be muddied up again almost immediately. We always take flip flops so is it really that big an issue?
The site location itself is great with beautiful views over Poole. If your into mountain biking this is a great place to go with some good looking trails leading away from the site.
We went into Swanage as its only a short drive away and its very pretty. A word of warning. Try at all costs to avoid the car parks. £6.50 for four hours. The roads leading to the car parks and side roads running off all have car parking spaces marked out and there is no charge.
I would recommend this site to others and would return. £14.50 per night when others were charging up to £40 per night. Excellent value
