This site is lovely. The setting is very peaceful, with long reaching views over Poole harbour and the surrounding hills and also a quite location, you could not wish for more.

The facilities are good with a nice shower block, although they do get rather busy. There is a shop based in the farm kitchen, which sells milk, eggs, ice cream etc and the staff are really friendly.

We walked cross country to Corfe Castle, which is not to far, about 2 miles I think. This is a lovely little village with a couple of nice pubs. Wareham is also close by and this has all the shops you will need.

We have been to this site about 3 times now and are due to visit again next month. Can't wait!

We love this area and love this site. It was so friendly and clean with plenty of space for the kids to play.

The ducks on the pond and friendly shop operated from the kitchen added to the charm!

The showers work on a token basis and last long enough for a decent shower and the family shower room was great for us with 2 small children.

It is very close to Wareham where there is a Sainsburys, chemist and other shops to browse in.

I believe there is a good walk over the top of the hills to Corfe which we will be investigating on our next visit when we plan to also take some friends!

I have been coming to this site since I was a little girl but hadn't been for 2 years and was really pleased to find that they have expanded and also improved the facilities and play area.

The facilities are basic but clean and you have to pay 40p for a token to use the shower (available from the farm house). Family room available with changing table and walk in shower. Only time was really busy was on Sunday morning when everyone was leaving the site. Washing up queue was massive so that was a little frustrating.

All in all a great place to take your family. Very friendly owners and will definitely be back next summer. On the way to the farm house there are a few farm animals and a duck pond.

Nearest village is Wareham which has a Morrisons and a choice of takeaway venues plus some pubs.

Very nice site in a lovely quiet part of the world with views over poole harbour.

We really enjoyed our stay on this site though would have been a little happier if they had put us further away from the toilet/shower block due to noise. We were right opposite it, and when it was raining, everyone seemed to use their cars to use the facilities.

Facilities were good, very clean and more than adaquate for the size of the site. Backed up by the fact that we never had to wait for either toilets, showers or washing up. (remember to buy your shower tokens at the farmhouse when booking in, 5 for £2)

The playgound was where the kids spent most of their time on the site, and they're still talking about it now.

You can buy milk eggs and bread in the farmhouse, as well as sweets for the kids. They can also see the goats and chickens when they go to the farmhouse, and there is a little duck pond right opposite, as well as a picnic table in what is essentially, their front garden.

The 3 fishing pools are well stocked with some decent sized fish to catch.

The closest town is Wareham, cheap parking (£1 for two hours). You can find a sainsburys there, and a few pubs for meals. Also the nearest fishing tackle shop.

Best beach around is probably studland, nice calm sandy bay though will involve a hike down a hill or steps. Best one is probably middle beach, there are toilets, a shop and a cafe here, you will need to navigate some steep steps to get down to it. For south beach, There is a nice pub next to the car park, and a walk of about 400yds down to the beach (the first 200yds are quite steep on a road).

Other places to visit are Swanage and Lulworth, the former being a sandy beach and the latter a pebble bay with rock pools to investigate at low tide. The nearest beach to the site is probably kimmeridge bay, £4 to park on the cliff top then down some steep steps to a very smelly (tons of rotting seaweed) narrow pebbly beach. There is a bit of sand at one end of the bay, but we weren't prepared to risk getting cut off by the tide, so left and went to Lulworth instead.

We were very happy here, and will probably go back at some point. The welcome was warm, the service was great and the kids loved the playground, What more could you want.

We have just spent 4 days at the East Creech Site. The location is great for Poole/Swanage Purbeck area.

We had a flat pitch at the top of the site with electric hook up, most of the site is very gently sloping though. Our tent isn't that big but there is plenty of pitch space. The site was at capacity but never seemed crowded. 6 berth caravans with awnings and a car easily fitted on the pitches. So don't worry if you have a huge tent,, It will be fine.

The toilet/shower block is basic but fine. You buy 5 shower tokens for £2 at the site shop. It should give you qround 4 minutes shower time per token but I'm sure it was longer and we managed fine.

There is a small children's play area, duck pond by the farm and the goats! We saw familes playing soft tennis/badminton on the grassy areas, there is space.

There are only 5/6 washing up sinks though and being peak holiday period the the 9-10am, 7-9pm times were not great to try and wash up.

We found a local mini-super market stocked the obvious campers supplies/food/drink and was fine for us.

We are quite happy to try other campsites in the future but would we visit here again?. Yes. It is good priced site! It's a lovely area with great views and plenty of space.

Have been visiting this site for three years, generally 2-3 times each year. It has become a lot busier than when we first visited but facilities have been expanded to cope and it is still a fantastic site, our favourite, hence returning again and again.

The site owners are very friendly and fastidious about keeping the facilities clean, I would say the toilets are as clean as my one at home and that is not often something said about public conveniences! There is always plenty of hot water for showers, washing and washing up. We don't have electric hook up but they exchange ice blocks for 20p a time and sell milk, bread, eggs, sweets and ice creams in the shop. Wareham is under five minutes away by car and has a reasonable size Sainsburys, baker, angling shop, camping/homeware, Boots and lots of lovely independent shops. Also a couple of fish and chip shops and a few other eateries.

The children's' playground has been updated in recent years. However, children mainly play in the big wide spaces int he middle of the fields, so wide that this is never a problem for anyone. You are allowed to choose your own pitch, they are not marked out and we have always found one to take in the stunning views from the site. The site is really well located for days out, 15 minutes drive from Studland Beach, Corfe Castle, Kimmeridge Bay (new cafe Clavells has opened here wonderful for cream teas and lunches and evening meals - good value food from farm, fresh veg, own reared meat etc. And two adults and children had two courses each for £60 - the same family bring a van selling meat from the farm to the campsite four evenings per week. Lovely walking from the site to Corfe Castle along the ridge.

Fantastic site!

We loved this site! We arrived on a very windy day to erect our large 8 man tent, it was a bit scary as the wind was very strong. The toilets were very clean, and Debbie and her Husband cleaned very early in the morning!(6.30) We are experienced campers as we have camped for over 8 years and this is the noisiest campsite we have stayed on-we put this down to new campers (they have not realized we do not have double glazing!) and the fact we were on a main thoroughfare. The owners were very friendly and the site well organized and clean. Although it was very wet at times, the site and it's toilets stayed clean. It was close to all the tourist sites and Wareham was only 10 mins away. Asda is in Poole which is the best supermarket close by. The view over Poole especially on fireworks night were spectacular. We will definitely stay here again.

This is our 3rd year in a row of staying at East Creech (£17.50 a night EHU) Took friends this time and they really enjoyed it as well. The showers are now in there own block which makes showering easier, 40p token for the shower which you get from the house, and you get a decent wash with that!. There are 2 family shower rooms which makes getting smaller kids washed and dressed easier. The owners are really friendly and the penny sweets for the kids (and Adults one of our friends sent her hubby up every day for some!) are great. They freeze ice blocks 20p a block and will loan you some from the freezer. The site can get windy so always make sure that guide ropes are pinned and secure.

The site is down a lane so there is hardly any noise. You can sometimes hear the tanks when praticing but this is during the day.

There is a local sainburys and small co-op in wareham and a few pubs (this is a very pretty market town.) Corfe Castle and the steam train to Swanage isn't far from East Creech (approx £30 fro a return) and at the train station you can hire bikes and they can advise of the best routes for your ability and age of children (if you have them) They also have bike seats for little ones and trailer bikes for the not yet confident child.

It is well placed for Swanage, Poole, Studland, Lulworth, Durdle Door and Weymouth.

(For good crab fishing with the kids go to Poole harbour by the old lifeboat station.)

Swanage have fireworks during August every Saturday off the jetty and Poole have them on Shore road beach every Thursday in August.

There is also a little village which is owned by the MOD called Tyneham. This is well worth a visit has some lovely walks and interesting history. It is only open on the weekends (except for 6 weekends during the year!) and Christmas, Easter and the month of August. You pay a pound for parking and the rest is free, there are no shops so take a picnic. Http://www.Tyneham.Org/

I am bias. I love this site and the area, however after taking my friends along with their children I think it's charm has worked on them as well!

:-) And Hoo Raa the weather report is good for next week, so car being loaded and off we go again!

We have just spent our second weekend in a row here and we love it! It is a lovely quiet campsite. Its just perfect for us, we use it as a weekender, as it is only 1/2 hour away from where we live.

On arrival, we were given the choice of our pitch. We were told to have a drive round and choose where we'd like to go. The people who own the site are very friendly and nothing is too much bother! Always happy to help. You are also able to leave whenever you like on the day you depart.

The toilets and showers are no frills, but everything you could need and clean! The showers, which are separate from the toilets are quite big with plenty of room to move around and get dressed etc. The only problem is the lights are on a timer, so after around 10 minutes the lights switch off, so I had to open the shower door and wave my hand to get it to switch back on, rather a giggle when your half naked lol. The showers are 40p for 7 minutes shower time. There is also a temperature dial.

The toilets are clean with around 4/5 sinks to get washed in.

The washing up sinks are always kept clean and tidy.

There is a play area next to the toilet block.

The shop is in the farm house selling bread, milk, eggs and ice creams.

The duck pond is lovely to go and walk to, its straight outside the farm house. When we were there, the ducklings were only two days old! So cute!

There is a shop only 5 minutes away at The Lookout caravan site (statics) which stocks a lot.

All in all, this is a lovely site and we love it! This is definitely going to be a regular for us.

Brilliant site, we had a lovely couple of days here our two girls aged 4 & 5 loved the parks etc and the woods behind our tent. The site 'shop' in the owners front room was great and sold all you needed.
We stayed here as it was close to Monkey World and we wanted to take our kids there, what a great day out! Excellent value for money ;0) We also had a day out to Wantage on the Steam train and the best fish & chips ever.
All in all a lovely site with lovely owners !
