Have just returned from a one night stay here. Lovely site, great views, quirky showers. Pitch was a bit iffy as we were only staying one night, ended up next to the burger van! Improvements have been made, new play area, new toilet showers block. Tips for motorhomes fill up with water before you get there!

The owners could not have tried harder to make our stay more pleasant. Centrally placed for the Purbecks, there are walks close to the campsite. Dogs are well catered for, within a hundred yards you can walk for miles. It is a busy site during school holidays, but that is only to be expected. Children enjoyed the goats, chickens and Cynthia the calf. Sweets, ice creams, bread and milk could be bought on site. If you visit, make the effort to walk up to the top of Creech hill. The views are wonderful. (not an easy walk for very little legs) The range walks which are open in the holiday period are well worth doing too. It is also possible to walk to Corfe Castle, about 11/2 miles each way.

Hi all, well we had a nice surprise when we booked a week at east creech farm. The owners are the nicest people you could meet and the site large enough to get lost in if thats what you wanted to do. Two good play areas for kids and three small ponds full of very obliging carp. We couldnt get on an electric hook up so I guess forward planning essential here especially in August. Location of the site perfect for the Purbecks and local villages and bays. We are returning campers and didnt really know what to expect, a weeks holiday here didnt kill us financially,it went very quickly and we were very relaxed. Cant say enough about this place give it a try! mike a

Well I'm 15 years old and have been to East Creech Farm with my family for the last few years and all of us really enjoy it. I don't know why everyone is moaning about the showers and the toilets because frankly they could be a lot worse and at least they are clean and I enjoy the quick showers because you don't waste time (the showers are not so busy in the afternoon anyway). The best bit about the farm is the woods because they are great for playing manhunt in and the bog is fine as long as you are wearing wellies (although the wellies can get easily stuck and lost.). Camping at East Creech is one of the best holidays I've been to and to prove it I am going again very soon.

We love camping at East Creech as it is set in the picturesque Purbecks with fantastic views. There are loads of wonderful walks through the countryside. They don't rip you off like most other sites by charging you extra for kids, dogs, awnings etc. Etc. The only downfall is the toilets and showers. The showers are not very well designed as the token box is outside the door! and there is not much room to manouevre or dry yourself. Also, the last two times I've been the showers were luke cold! The new shower / loo addition is a real let down as it's so cramped and as I opened the door to go in I hit a woman coming out of the toilet. Sorry. My husband said the same happened in the mens toilets. Despite this it is one of our favorite camp sites.

East Creech is a basic but pleasant site. The entrance is a bit hard to navigate, but once through it is fine. The pitches are well spaced out, and have nice views (on a good day!) of Poole harbour and the Purbeck hills. Not impressed with the unfinished toilets, but sure they will be nice once completed. The reception is well away down the road, and located in the pretty farmhouse, which is very nice, and has a duck pond and cows to look at, only thing is it was not clear where this is! Electric was a bit of a problem during our stay, it went of a couple of times, maybe too many campers there at one go. Overall a great price for a relaxing weekend.

August 2005 A three field site with well kept pitches and well drained ground. Fields were well kept, clean and tidy.
Best views by far from the overflow field at the lower part of the site and plenty of flat ground on which to pitch your tent (quite a lot of slopes too so arrive early on busy periods). Overflow has no hookups or any other facilities. Showers and dishwashing block a couple of minutes walk.
Facilities were barely adequate for the number of pitches. Only three showers in male and three in female toilets and if you don't arrive firsts, the water is cool to say the least. Showers by token, 40p for 5 minutes without any warning that the shower is about to stop - be prepared to use a second token :-)
There is a small playground with a couple of swings, a see-saw and a roundabout that was enjoyed by the children. Fresh duck egges in the mornings but get to the farmhouse early to avoid disappointment. Lots of nice wooded areas for the children to explore and a general feeling of safety but watch out for the road between overflow and main site. Lots of foolish drivers pasisng at high speed in the dark.
I'd go again. Despite the minimal facilities it was a pleasant site to visit.

August 2005 A super little campsite in a beautiful part of Dorset. Conveniently situated to Wareham for local shopping, Poole & Swanage and lots of beaches.
Lovely view from our pitch. The kids especially liked the little wood - but do take care, there is a bog at the bottom which is unfenced.
I agree that the showers are pretty cramped - especially if you are showering with children in tow. The block is small & basic, but always clean.
Mrs Best in the farmhouse is lovely - nothing is too much trouble. We had a great week and would recommend you try it too.

July 2005 East Creech farm caravan and camping site is great.
You are in luck if you are a fan of walking, as there are plenty of great walks starting seconds away from the site. I had a great time walking up the large hills and geting the perfect view as you get to the top.
The site is dog friendly, and there are two parks for the kids to play in!
The only thing I did not like was the showers, maybe there could be more space beetween the toilets and them, it gets very squashy in the facilities when the site fills up. Other than that, the site was great!

August 2005 My family and I have visited East Creech for 6 years running for our family holidays and have always had a great time. The kids have busied themselves collecting eggs, playing in the woods and play areas, visiting the cows, ducks and hens, watching the cows being milked and even helping with the milking. There is a lovely pond where you can fish, reception area where you can buy fresh produce such as eggs and milk, ice-creams and bread, and shower and toilet facilities. Locl attractions such as Corfe Castle and the small, picturesque town of Wareham make for great days out and let's not forget the beautiful Studland Bay, which never fails to please. East Creech is a wonderful site for adults and children alike. A++++
