We visited East Creech Farm last year in the May bank holiday and had a lovely time there. The owners were very nice and helpful and the site was well maintained. We especially liked the fact that they do not over-book and so not squash you in set sites if you are not requiring electric hook-up.
The views of the Purbeck Hills from the site are lovely, we did a great walk over the top and down into Corfe then back along the river.
The only suggestion, which may be in place now, would be that in the sink area to have shelves to put your wash bag on would be helpful.
We had booked to go again this year in half term but due to the awful weather we cancelled, the owners were very understanding about this - hopefully we will go again next year!

Just returned from our first visit to this camp site, The views were beautiful and the sun sets stunning. The pitches were quite big and the owners friendly.
I have read all the other comments (that was one of the reasons we chose this site), but must disagree about the showers. I would agree that the cubicles were plenty big enough, and I didn't mind having to pay 50p for a token to use the shower, but they were not very clean! I think the fact that they are dark grey concrete didn't help. I only used them once, I didn't fancy using them again. The toilets were clean.
The area is lovely with plenty of places to visit like Swanage, Corfe Castle and Studland and lovely walks from the site. This is definitely an attractive area.
Wareham was fine for shopping with a Co-op and Sainsburys and the riverside was ideal for a leisurely walk

Back from another lovely stay here.
This time we took some friends and booked two adjacent pitches. Our friends decided to stay on and the owners did all they could to allow them to stop on the pitch and they continued to enjoy their stay (at one point we thought we may have to relocate the tent - nightmare!)
Having used the family room for showering before we decided to try the other showers as our kids are a little older - lovely and clean perfect area for changing sectioned off from the shower with a seat/shelf to put everything on.
We enjoyed a wonderful walk over the hill from the campsite to Corfe Castle for Sunday lunch.
The owners were as friendly as ever!
We'll be back!

Fantastic site in a lovely location that is ideal for east Dorset. From parts of the site you can see some of poole harbour and Bournemouth in the the distance.
The owners work the site and are very friendly. They are always on hand and keep the facilities very clean. Milk, bread and ice cream available on site. Wareham is a lovely town providing just about all you need.
The Kings Arms at Stoborough is good value and nice food with quite a variation on the menu. We use Jurassic Cabs to go to the pub with 4 Children and the service is reliable

I spent my first proper camping trip in over twenty years on this site and I was very impressed with the whole setup. Took our 14 & 10 year old boys on their first trips and they loved the freedom of just being around the site. We took their bikes which was a good idea as they loved riding around the site all day (it's also useful for sending them to the shop for bread & milk).
The site is exceptionally well maintained and cleaned, the washing up/toilet/shower facilities were excellent and thoroughly cleaned every morning.
The site is set in wonderful surroundings with plenty of things to do in the local area, including the Tank Museum, Monkey World, Corfe Castle & Lulworth Cove.
The only downside is that some of the pitches are on quite a slope which makes for some interestingly angled tents.

Just returned from a 6 night camping tent holiday. As mentioned before lots of room on the main fields if you don't required elec hook up.
Lovely views in all directions of the rolling dorset hills. Shop is basic eggs, milk and ice creams. Staff very friendly and helpful. Site very clean and tidy.
Shower blocks ok new washing up shed in the main field helps a little. Due to the non allocation of non electric pitches on the camping fields able to accommodate large tents well.
Two family size shower rooms came in handy. 2nd time of visiting this site will return in the future. Tokens needed for the showers but one token is fine for a shower. Wareham just down the road for supplies. Overall a good site.

This is our third year here and we have booked for next year. We come as a large group of families with both tents and a touring caravan. This is a busy but not bustling campsite. The owners are exceptional. They remember us from year to year and are very helpful and accommodating with our pitches.
There are three camping areas. There is a drive with mainly touring caravans to the left. Some are seasonal pitches although none residential. They are nearer the toilet facilities and the small woodland area. Also the playground is this side of the drive. On the other side of the drive there is a mix of caravans and tents. There is a small washing up area and the field is quite large leading up to a small hill with great views and winds for kite flying. EHU is available on both sites.
There other side of the road is a field with more informal pitches for tents. I assume there is no EHU here. It is very spacious and pitches do not appear to be demarked.
The facilities are fine. Lots of washing up sinks under cover with plentiful hot water. Several toilets for each sex. Showers with tokens which are bought from the shop/reception. Each token is more than adequate. The newer facilities are great. Lots of guests so do sometimes get a bit grubby. Also don't drain very quickly so sometimes standing in water/suds. A couple of larger families bathrooms.
Playground large and well built. Woods well used by children and small clearing with zip wire. 3 small ponds across a very quiet lane with free private fishing for campers. Small and easy to catch fish which the children really love.
Steep walk up hill to ridge which takes you into Corfe Castle. Takes about an hour to hour and a half. Good pubs for lunch and well earned drink. Good food at Greyhound in Corfe.
Great campsite, well run, tidy, good pitch size, helpful owners, very cheap and quiet after 11pm. We keep coming back!

Stayed here for a short break midweek. Stunning views and sunsets. Large fields (quite undulating) but plenty of room. It was our first trip away with our 3 year old grandson - he had a whale of a time!, loads of space for him to run around and a playground. There were other families with small children so he had playmates. Had we 'permission' from mum we would have stayed longer.
Owners really friendly & helpful especially with pub/meal recommendations. Facilities were spotless and the family shower room was really useful except that the water was either cold or very hot (no way of adjusting temperature) - not much use for a toddler.
Close to lots of attractions - the main one for our visit was Monkey World. We spent a lovely evening on the beach at Swanage, lovely sandy beach perfect for kids (and adults!).
Would definitely stay again.

I've been coming here on and off for 20 years, and it's a lovely site. It's grown since I was last here, but they've enlarged and upgraded the toilet and shower facilities. It's still really good value, and family run from the farm. A small shop for basic necessities, and sweets for the kids. Mine loved helping out collecting eggs, and found plenty of other kids to play with. The toilet block was kept clean every day, and the family running the site are friendly and helpful. We were there at half term, so it was pretty busy, but there was still plenty of space to find a pitch.
The Isle of Purbeck is a lovely part of the world, there's a nice walk over the hill to Corfe Castle, the steam train to Swanage is a good day out, great fish and chip shop in Wareham, and fabulous walks along the coast. My favourite outing, though, is any which ends at The Square and Compass in Worth Matravers, a unique pub with it's own museum, and surely one of the top 10 pubs in the country !

The owners are friendly, the location is pretty and quiet. The facilities are basic but sufficient. The fishing was also a nice surprise.
We did have one small problem, which was that the power on the whole site kept failing during the early evening. It went off just before the European Cup final, which went down well.
I spoke to a neighbour who had been before and they said this happened last year. They may need to invest in their electrical system.
We would go back if the electrics were upgraded.
