Me, my partner and 3 children came here for a weekend away as a friend had recommended this site to us.
We were welcomed at the farmhouse reception by the owners who were very helpful, the lady gave me all the information I needed and took our payment while my partner was shown to our electric hook-up pitch by her husband.
The park was well maintained, showers and toilet blocks were lovely and clean with hot and cold water, 24 hour cctv and information board with plenty of local attractions.
My children loved the play area and duck pond, it also had a separate field for them to play football which was ideal, they had a great weekend and didn't want to leave as they had made lots of new friends.
Town centre was a 15 minute walk away out of the back gates which was very enjoyable due to having a very warm and sunny day.
I cant wait for 2013 to go touring again as we hope to return again and again.

The best site by far, numerous stays, this year with our grandson and the site is brilliant for kids. Exceptionally clean, very well maintained. Owners helpful friendly polite.
Near to Prestatyn which next year will have the new Shopping center including all the major stores, which is 1/2 mile down the road from the site. Beach is around 25 mins walk and Nant Hall is just over the road for a great night out in a wine bar style, (disco saturday night) with a fantastic children's playground outside.
The only downside to the site I see in the future is its going to become to popular for us to get in !

Do not follow sat nav to this site if pulling a van as we arrived down the 33% decline with hair pin bends - not fun
But after that we had a great week on this site.
The owners were very friendly and helpful.
The shower block was nice and clean and in the week we were there we never once got caught out with it being closed for cleaning.
The park is great for kids and the separate field for ball games was also useful.
Very close to Prestatyn beach which we loved as very few shops just beach and not many people.
The site was very peaceful and we were in a van but never bothered by any road noise.
We will definitely go back and will recommend to friends.
Great pub opposite with kids outdoor park and further down the road away from Prestatyn was a cheap carvery pub.

After a last minute decision to take the children camping for a little treat, I trawled through various websites who only allowed 2 night or more stays, we only wanted to stay 1 night and stay close coming from cheshire.
Eventually I came across Nant Mill site and liked what I saw. I called and spoke to a lovely lady who was very friendly and said of course we could come! We arrived around 7. 30pm and were met with a very warm welcome.
We were shown to our pitch, given a map of the site and asked would we like any bricks for a bbq. We set up quickly, and noted how helpful and friendly members of the site were.
There is a downside that there is no electric hook up for tents, but as my husband says, its not proper camping if you are able to hairdry your hair in tent!
We loved our little stay so much that we have booked another 4 nights in the middle of August.
The tent field was large and well secured so our 5 yr old and 2 yr old could just go and run, they loved it.
The road didn't bother us too much and the showers are super clean with nice hot water.
Very picturesque area, local shop just around the corner and lovely people. Just book!

I have stayed at this campsite for several years now; it is a medium-sized attractive site, with room for several tents alongside the touring pitches. It is ten minutes' walk from Prestatyn town centre, five minutes away from Pontin's, and ten minutes from the beach. Opposite the site are the small earthwork remains of Prestatyn Castle. The site is next to the main A548 road.
It is very well laid out, and the grass is well maintained. The staff are friendly and helpful, and do not tolerate any sort of yobbish or rowdy behaviour.
The toilet/shower block is very clean, and the showers are hot and free, although the access keys for the showers are only available from 0800 to 2130.
The facilities are excellent: washing machines, freezer (for ice packs only), iron/ironing board, tumble dryer, hairdryer, and washing up sink.
There is a children's play area, and a nice duck pond. Security is very good, with CCTV and staff keeping an eye on things. The main gate is locked at night, but the site can be accessed via the rear private entrance.
The only downsides for me are the prices for tent pitches, which are higher than average, the lack of electric hook-ups for tents, and the lack of a tent booking facility. The site can get very busy on bank holiday weekends, and in the Summer, so I would advise an early arrival, especially on a Friday. The road noise rom the A548 can be an issue, but you soon get used to it. The site can get a bit windy, but so is everywhere else in this part of North Wales.
All in all it is thoroughly recommended.

We stayed here a few years ago when we had our tourer. We found it to be one of the best sites we ever visited. We have had a static caravan for a few years, but have now decided to go back to touring again and will certainly be making this one of the first places we return to.
It's a nice quiet place in which to chill out. No noisy clubs or anything here. Peace and quiet with ducks waddling about which are so tame the kids can play with them. I seem to remember that the gates close each evening, so there are no cars making their noise either.
Good clean toilets and showers, little farm type shop and nice friendly owners who will go out of their way to help if you do have any queries.
A nice area as well with plenty of places to visit.
Yes, we'll definitely be going here again.

Just returned from a long weekend at Nant Mill, taking advantage of the late September good weather.
The site appears to be well run with good, clean facilities. We found the spacing between tents/caravans quite tight and the way everything is laid out in formal rows means there is no privacy at all to be had.
We must have caught the owners on a bad day because the welcome was less than warm.
The site is possibly the noisiest I’ve ever stayed on, there are two reasons for this- 1) as mentioned, the pitches are very close together, 2) there is a very busy main road close by.
However, Prestatyn has some lovely beaches when the tide is out, can’t believe we were swimming in the sea on the 1st October! Go to Gails Kitchen on the high street for a super fry-up and avoid Rhyl, it’s full of chavs.

Stayed @ Nant Mill with my 3 daughters as it is a family only site - Ok welcome, was told where to camp because I had a dog & there only allowed in the 1st field apparently.
Camp is clean and showers and toilets modern & adequate for our use, you have to pay 50p for a 20 min shower which is gud value as they were hot & powerful, also a laundry & wash up room available which was also kept clean with all modern appliances.
The main negative of this camp was the noise from the main road, in the evening & late into the night & early hours the noise is not gud & this did spoil it for me.
The campsite is used mainly by caravans who obviously have more sound proofing than a tent but that road really lets the site down.

Stayed at this campsite for one night, but only booked 6 nights in advance so were lucky to get a space. It is a very pretty site and very clean.
The owners were also welcoming, however they handed over the biggest list of rules Iv ever seen on a campsite. We were given a space which was very close to the main gates (probably because of our late booking) but the traffic could be heard all through the night.
The showers are 50p plus a returnable £1 deposit but this is only for 20 mins so you feel you are rushing to get the key back in time. The shower head in the cubicle I went in was not central to the shower tray so the water splashed beyond the shower curtain and soaked the whole floor.
The shower power button is also a push button style, but only ran for about 30 seconds before going off, so you constantly have to push the button. The water pressure was good and temp was nice and hot, however I have had much better showers which are included in the price at other campsites.
I think this could be a lovely campsite if the rules were less enforced, and the showers were included in the tariff.

We stayed at this site at short notice, as did our friends with their tent. As we arrived at different times, we found the owners (who were very friendly to us)very accommodating in getting our friends a pitch dead opposite ours.
It is slightly sloping but we didn't find it a problem. A well kept site, the kids play park is well set out and usable even by our 4 year old! The shower block is very nice and clean, and I found the 20 mins for 50p shower time adequate for me and my son to both shower.
A nice 10 min walk to the beach but the road is quite busy so best to keep very young children close at hand.
The chippy is only 5 mins drive in Prestatyn and is very nice- there's also pizza takeaway Chinese restaurant and Indian restaurant which I will try next time we visit!
All in all A great site which we couldn't fault!
