Firstly, thanks for fitting us on with two days notice.
Extremely helpful owners (were flexible with start and end times as it wasn't fully booked). The site was lovely, duck pond, kids playground, ball games area - everything you could possibly need.
Our visitors were also enjoyed their visit and the owner was doing regular patrols ensuring the site was clean and safe.
We will be back - many thanks !

Our favourite site bar none and return 2-3 times per year. Great Location just opposite Nant Mill which is a superb Wine Bar style Pub doing very nice meals (they have just opened a car wash on the car park which is very annoying when sitting on a nice sunny day though ) Site about 1/2 mile into Town of Prestatyn . Archies wine bar on a Saturday night is Brilliant, with live bands on. Showers on the site very clean as is the rest of the site, very friendly owners, always driving round cleaning up the site and mowing the grass . Dogs allowed (and we have a very large one )All in all you will have no complaints after visiting this great little site

This is a very pleasant site with a warm welcome. There are quite a few rules regarding noise and they are quite strict about it being for families and couples only. This was absolutely fine for us and meant we had a pleasant nights sleep. The grass pitches were well kept and plenty of space was allowed between units.
The toilet and shower facilities were spotlessly clean and there was always plenty of loo-roll and towels. The only downside being the showers which cost 50p for 15 minutes in total. It's a bit of a rush getting showered, dried and changed in that time and seemed unnecessary as we were camping off-season. The fixed temperature alternated between scalding hot and freezing cold, also the shower head was much too low for someone of normal height.
All the main shops and facilities of presatyn town centre were very close by and it was possible to walk to the beach.

I booked on this site as a seasonal pitch, my van is 27` t/a. I went on the pitch i was given, the caravan was to large for this pitch, but, i put my awning up and the annex, i was told to take it down(annex). 'Those lights round your awning turn them off' flags on the front of there van. 'No flags' we were told the site had 10 amp ehu. Yes! Shared with other vans! Have to go to the house to sort it, so if it goes in the night well? I had just been home to pick the wife up to stay for a week, i was out my car 2 min`s when ' you wasn't here last night but left the fan on in your awning we know who`s goes and comes' i had parked my car on the other side of the van! She turned the ehu off on my van to see who is burning wot power! Yes they turn the ehu to see what power you are using, they watch the meter go round!she admitted she watches the meter!no electric to be used in the awning. This site is a joke! They have rules to suit themselfs, they broke every single one of them.
No gennys
No vans to arrive after 9pm
No ball games
Plus to many to mention,
Yes the site is clean, the grass is nice, the noise from the road needed some getting used too.
But has for the old dragon in that farm house, my advise is to give this site a big miss.
If you have a modern van this site will not cope for your needs. So i hooked up, had enough of this woman, lost my fee`s i had paid.

Have just returned from a weekend stay at nant mill and I have to say we were really impressed!
We ended up at this site as sister was in a tourer at presthaven sands and we were going to join for the weekend. Presthaven were unable to accommodate us and I'm glad of it!
The welcome is very warm and friendly and we were shown to our pitch. It was on a slant and they fetched us breeze blocks to help with levelling which was very nice. They actually keep to fire regulations and have all the pitches 8 meters apart too so you do have some privacy!
1st impressions as we drove in was how green it was. The grass is so nice underfoot. It is a very well kept and incredibly clean site.
The facilities here are the best we have found on a touring site to date. The showers are well worth the 50p cost, better than the one I have at home and much cleaner too! The toilets are well stocked and sparkling. There is a laundry which we didn't need to use so can't comment on that. There is a duck pond, a kids park and a separate field for ball games too.
There are a LOT of rules which we found a little daunting initially but they are what keeps the site clean and tidy and quiet. No chance of being kept up by noisy drinking they just don't allow it!

As always the not so brillant bits.
The showering arrangements are far from acceptable to us. Remember this is our opinion but to have to go and get the key for the shower units and then have to pay 50p for a shower on top of what is a bit pricey for a campsite and that you only have 15mins before you have to pay extra. This means getting to the key getting into the showers, stripped, shower, having to press the push button every 12 secs or so, dry and back again in 15mins. Add to this that the keys are only available till 2130 so you need to be showered and done for by then. This is not quite how we like to do things, it may be ok for others but on occasion I like a late shower, and it isnt possible here.
The site will in places test your levelling skills.
There is quite a bit of noise from the road and the railway line but you get used to it.
So the goods bits.
There was a warm welcome and you are showned to your site. The pitchs are very nice and well looked after. There is several long term units in place and this must be a reasonable site with the amount we seen. The EHU's are protected with posts and the pitchs are well spaced out. It was nice to walk on the grass in bare feet the grass is that lush ! The gentlemen who should us onto the pitch brought over some breeze blocks to help levelling the caravan.
There is washing up facilities and laundry on site facilities (additional cost) the main facilities apart from our opinion on the showering are fine with good water pressure, clean and tidy although the lay out could have been better done with the urinals but all in all not bad.
His lordship met with an unfortunate accident with his thumb and a large hammer and the people were quick to help out when our son asked for some ice, even coming over to check on his wellbeing which was a nice touch.
The site is not far from the town centre and the beaches at Prestatyn and Rhyll is not so far. It is a reasonable base for the area to explore but watch out with your speeding, make sure you stick to the speed limits as there is often a mobile camera van sat on the corner of the bend near the site.
This is a securish site as they lock the main gates at night approx 2200 and there is a back entrance very narrow with absolute no chance of getting a caravan out so your unit at night time is secure if your out on the town or the sea front
Overall: This is not a bad site at all just pricey in our opinion and please sort out those showering arrangements. The people who run it seem welcoming and nice and you certainly see them around the site. And the big question would we go back, well its a bit far out for us as a rule on a normal weekend with leaving home at 1700ish and with the costs of the site, showering times it would be unlikely we would return however we would recommend this site to others who would be able to meet the expense and the site arrangements.

Just got back from a short break at the site and what a site it is, very clean indeed. The kids must of found the playground to be very good because we did not see them until feeding time. The facilities were very clean at all times. If you are looking for a nice break then this site is a must, no teenage drinking and making a noise to be seen anywhere and the little ones felt safe to go play. We also found the supermarket 5mins in car, also pub 5mins, a swimming pool 10 mins away, beach also 10 mins away. Would recommend for a quiet getaway.
Thanks for putting us up at short notice.

We have just returned from a weekend away camping with our four kids, Our children had never been camping with us before so were all very excited. The campsite exceded all their and our expectations and a wonderful weekend was had by all. The owners were very friendly and helpful and gave us all the information we required on our arrival. The campsite was very clean and well kept which included the toilet block. The play area was fantastic for the children and we also had great fun on there. There was also a large field where we could play football away from the caravans. We only live half an hour away from the area so knew it well already but still prestatyn has plenty to offer for all.
I have nothing bad to say about this campsite and would definitely return in the future and would like to say thanks fopr a great weekend away from all of us.

Just got back, was very lucky with the weather, not too wet. The site was clean, toilets were as clean as a new pin, however there were only 2*2 showers for a site with 200+ pitches. These we had to pay for and were timed by the owners. There were lots of signs everywhere telling you what you couldn't do. Dogs are tolerated not welcome! And children don't rate much higher than dogs. The pitches were very sloped although immaculately groomed.
Not what we would call a relaxed holiday, as we felt we were under constant scrutiny. One ray of sunshine was Mom. A true host, happy to chat and very friendly. Was expensive and would only recommend if you don't have children or dogs.

On arrival at the site our first impression was of a clean well kept site. The owners were really helpful and because we had a dog, put us on the main field near the road. The main road is quite busy during the day but the traffic really calms down at night and the it didn't disturb us during the night.
The site is well maintained and everyone was really friendly. All facilities were spotlessly clean. My wife is a clean freak and was impressed with the cleanliness throughout the site.
The showers were 50p for 15 minutes which is ample time for a nice hot shower. There is a laundry room where there are ironing, hair drying and dish washing facilities and lots of information on visitor attractions. The toilets are cleaned a couple of times a day at least, and were spotless all the time we were there. The bins are emptied regularly. There is CCTV covering the site which is onobtrusive and adds to peace of mind especially for tent users.
The site is a short walk from the beach which again is spotlessly clean. There is car parking at the beach which costs £1.60 for all day. The site is close to pubs and only 15 to 20 mins drive from Rhyl and Towyn where there are lots of attractions.
All in all it was a great stay at a lovely site. We will definitely go again as a good site makes the experience more enjoyable.
