First time camping, site is clean and well kept, Owner drives round emptying bins twice a day. Toilets were very clean. Owners very helpful. Playground for the kids, plus another field for ball games, larger tents are pitched around the edges of this field. Only downside was the noise from the road as our tent was pitched about 3m from the road on the other side of a hedge. No doubt I would have got used to it if I had stayed for more than one night, but as the owner said, when her grandparents first set up the site there was no where near as much traffic as there is nowadays. I don't think the noise would have been a problem if I wasn't pitched right next to it. Prestatyn is 10mins walk away, beach is 10mins walk, pub is 2mins A very lovely site and will soon be going back.

Well just got back from my first weekend camping, Saturday it rained all day but still had a lot fun putting the tent up. Nant mill was really nice, the owners seemed only too happy to help with any problems we had, the site was well looked after and the toilets were second to none, all the facilities were very clean. They have a great play area for small children and the site seems really safe to have a great time. Will being going back soon definitely recommend this site.

My wife and myself visited this site over the weekend April 27th to April 30th. We found the site clean, but were a little concerned to find that things usually provided free were in fact charged extra for. None of this was mentioned when booking, nor were we told that the electricity was charged for in addition to the hook-up charge. On the day of departure we also had to wait until the gate was unlocked before we could leave, and we could not leave fast enough. We had a couple who had their touring caravan, which looked to be permanently parked next to us. They arrived on the Saturday and proceeded to light a BBQ and consume vast amounts of alcohol with a radio on full blast. This is definitely NOT what we expect. We will certainly not be returning to Nant Mill.

My family (myself, my husband and 2 children, son aged 12 and daughter aged 8) have stayed for the first time at Nant Mill. My parents are buying a static locally and we wanted to find a site that we could return to. Nant Mill was definitely that. In fact we left our caravan there, and took advantage of the linked weekends which is great. The site is clean, and when the owner drives round you feel safe, which is an added bonus when you have children. The facilities are exceptionally clean, and again have keypad locks on so you know that not just anyone can go in, only paying guests. You have to pay for the shower but its only 50p and you get around 15 minutes, The children have plenty of space to play, and walk or run, and have met some really nice children. The owners are lovely people and make you feel really welcome, its a beautiful well kept site with very well maintained pitches. As the site is just off the main road you would expect to hear a lot of traffic noise, however this is just not the case. I have no doubt that anyone staying here would have a hard time disliking anything.

Have stayed at this site on a couple of occasions and found it to be pleasant although in my opinion it’s aimed more towards couples rather than families. Not a bad thing if you’re a couple and not a family as it makes the site nice and quiet and prevents the large groups of family (you know the tracksuits in socks type) which some sites attract during the busy times. The staff, which I think are part of the family who owns the site, are efficient and normally professionally friendly assistance parking our van was given although I would have preferred just to have been told where to go and then been left to it but that’s just me. The toilets were between average to good and definitely usable. There is no pub or entertainment on site but there are some nice walks in the area and a duck pond at the top of the site. Overall conclusion: I would use again in the future if I wanted a quieter weekend away in Prestatyn and Rhyl.

I have visited this site since I was born . I am now 25 and still enjoy this peaceful site! Nant mill restaurant across the road with play area for children! This family run site is great, the family are very helpful and very kind! the prices are reasonable. My parents still go to nant mill at least 5-6 times a year if not more! Although there is nothing in the way of entertainment on the site it is only a drive away from rhyl itself where there is all the entertainment you could want. The site toilets and showers are very clean and well presented, the site itself is well maintained too! As for the complaints about the grand prix style road noise is totally out of order, my parents stay on the pitch right next to the entrance gates and don't hear it! The site is fantastic take it from me, Ive been plenty of times! 100% recommended.

My husband and I having been going to Nant Mill for the past 2 years and we find it a very friendly site the owners cant do enough for you. It is very clean and tidy the showers and toilets are cleaned about 2 or 3 times daily the owners are always on the go busy doing something. They are strict about who they let stay on their site but I think that is good as you dont want to be kept awake all night by rowdy people. I recommend this site to any one its close to the beach and is close to Rhyl and there are some beautiful walks around the area

Just finished our 26th year going to Nant mill, we never go anywhere else. The site this year is even better, the owners always go out of their way to make everyone welcome, all facilities are above all standards. Pitches are always in pristine condition and we cant wait for 2007.

We visited nant mill over the bank holiday weekend. We had plenty of room for our tent and car, tho we had to put up the tent in pouring rain! we found the site to be excellent. The toilet facilities were very clean and secure. the people who ran the site were very friendly, and we had no problems. they sold milk at reception, and a lady came round in a car every morning selling newspapers and other essential items. we really enjoyed our stay at nant mill, and will definitely be returning in the near future

I arrived on the Monday we stayed till the Thursday. My wife helped me set up camp and then went home as we couldn't get the same time of this year . The site was fantastic very clean excellent facilities and ideal for my kids in the play field one age 6 and the other 17 months. The weather stayed nice most of the days and it was a quiet and relaxing holiday . Just what I needed .T he campsite was probably one of the best I have been to.
