May 2004 Nice clean site, facilities good, the toilets and showers were of a very high standard. The children were able to play football. The only bad side to this camp was the traffic, it was a nightmare, we were awoken every morning about 5am which spoilt otherwise a very nice and well maintained site.

2003 summer The campsite is very clean and family friendly. They have a basic charge plus occupancy so if there are more than two people an extra charge is made. Obviously this covers cost for facilities ie toilets and water. Compared to other local campsites I found the prices nearly the lowest. They have an adventure playground and are installing a disabled toilet/shower for 2004..... There are some pitches on the roadside and to some this will be noisy but you are given a choice of pitch unless its a Bank Holiday or August time then its best to book. They only sell milk eggs and gas but 1/4 mile down the road youll find supermarkets.

29/7/2003 I found Nant Mill camp easy to find, and the owners very helpfull. In the nine other visits myself and my family have made to this site,we have had a very enjoyable stay. The site is very family co-ordinated and they do not allow groups of males or females to stay on camp, single parents and families only ,which helps make the site safer in my opinion. We had two tents one five man and one three man two adults and four children ages 5,9,11,12. and we were charged £13.00 per night which l thought was very reasonable.facilities were adaquate and camp very near to main attractions,l would recommend this campsite to anyone with families and any single parents,as a very enjoyable place to stay.

19/07/03 Basic site, one toilet/shower block in next field. laundry room next to reception with one sink for washing clothes and one for washing up, which led to queues predictably at breakfast, and tea time. £11.50 per night (no electric) for myself, and 4 sons of 16, 13, 10 and 4 in a 4-berth tent. charge by occupancy rather than berth. Well enough looked after, but if you visit, they tell you where to pitch, DON'T pitch by the road! Very main road, and is like trying to sleep in the middle of a Grand Prix! Especially from around 5.30 am! Also no shelter on that side, VERY windy! Plus side, you can pay daily, and you have until about 12 midday to re-book or move on. Close to Pontins, and had I not had friends staying in Pontins, because of the traffic noise would probably have moved on. Hope this helps anyone visitng.
