Me and my fiance booked to stay from the 24th June to the 1st July but we were enjoying it so much we payed up to the 5th July.

We arrived with in a few minutes of leaving the train station (via taxi) and were greeted with the up most of polite and cheerful staff. They were kind enough to let us chose which pitch we wanted as there are two fields were tents can go. We chose the pitch near the toilet block as it was nearer to the facilities.

The toilet and shower blocks are cleaned daily or should I say twice daily and are very clean.
The showers were great, 15 minutes I thought was short but it was enough time to be honest!

The play area is fabulous cant wait to have our own children playing there. The duck pond is good but could do with cleaning out the rubbish which has been thrown over from the road. The reception also sell milk and eggs and also re-freeze your freeze blocks and are very helpful if there is any trouble.

Me and my fiance are so pleased with the site that not only will we be back but we have recommended all our friends and family who are thinking of going to wales to go to this site and enjoy the sunset and views from their!

We have stayed at this site several times over the last few years but last year we were turned away because my brother and his kids and another family with kids were with us - we were told that this was not a family group. Rang the site but were told the same thing
It looks like if the owner likes the look of you, you get on if not you are turned away it is a shame because the site is quite local for everything the next site is on Towyn road and is usually full if you get there after 3pm

Just returned from a visit to Nant Mill . This camp site is clean tidy and strict. I have never visited a site with as many rules and regulations. The showers are clean and cost 50p for 15mins not very expensive but wasn't this included in the camping charge. The constant drive past by the owner was also a bit off putting, especially when my father turned up to tell us where he was staying (on another site, lucky man) and within 30seconds the owner was there to check why he was here. Campsite perfect for people without children but we found it very regimented and intrusive.

We had pre-arranged with the lady owner that My husband, 2xkids, niece, brother in-law, my cousin and myself (4xadult & 3kids) were able to camp there for 1 night. That was after we had to agree that we had to have 2 x tents instead of the 1 tent that we wanted to use. Upon arrival when we went to book-in the lady who took are phone call was there to meet us. That is when she REFUSED to allow us to camp, she said that we were not classed as a family that FAMILY was, man and wife, kids or grandparents that was all????? We agreed to leave the site but asked if the kids was allowed to use the toilet before we left as we had been traveling for 2hrs non-stop. She again REFUSED unless we paid 50p each to use them.

My Partner and I took our 1 year old son to the ‘Nant Mill’ site for 3 days (2 nights) on the 1st Sep, On both mornings our 12 week old puppy
(on short lead) was barking due to other dogs being off the lead, stealing his food and trying to attack him, the first morning it was a ‘Pit bull terrier’.

My partner also found it difficult to take a shower with our son (50p and £1 deposit) as you are only ‘allowed’ 15 mins to get from the reception to the shower, have your shower get dressed and then get back to the reception or loose your £1 deposit, sorry but I cannot recommend this site…….

Stayed on a Saturday night. The owners were helpful. Excellent tolilets and showers extremely clean and well maintained. Prices are ok too as is the location. However, there is a very noisy main road nearby, we could not sleep in a tent!

Excellent site great facilities, clean and well run. Had 2 nights of great weather and peacful camping, only a short drive to a deserted beach (barkby) kids loved it. Will return in the future.

We have been returning to this site for the last 20 years and we find it to be a well run site. Pitches are of a good size, toilet facilities are clean and tidy. The owners are helpful and friendly and will not tolerate behaviour which is likely to disrupt other people. Pitch prices are very reasonable. Reading other reviews, we feel that some remarks regarding traffic noise and facilities are a little unfair, maybe these people are expexting 10 star ratings for 2 star prices.

We always stay on pitch 21 or 22 right by the front gates and main road and although there is traffic passing it is nothing like a grand prix track as some of the reviews suggest. We have just booked for the next bank holiday having just returned with our grandchildren who thoroughly enjoyed the stay.

Nice looking park reasonably priced very clean except showers, but unfortuantely when we visited it was very busy and loud. It is not far from the town but still far enough to need a car. The shower block was not clean but in fairness the park was busy so my view of the park is its a nice park but its more for the young ones that want to come stumbling back drunk I personally would not return !

This is a quiet family site and the owners are very keen on security i.e. a code keypad on the toilets, CCTV in laundry room. There are lots of rules such as no more that one couple / family camping together, no ball games / kite flying except in ball game field. There is also a 40p charge to use the shower and a 15 min limit - not very realistic to get yourself and child undressed, showered, dried and dressed again. Visited with a 12 year old and found myself asking her to whisper after 9pm! The fact that the site was so quiet was excellent for getting to sleep but you really do need to get an early night as you'll be woken at 5am by loud traffic. Although the road doesn't look very busy, it sounds like a motorway from a tent at this time in the morning. If you do stay at this site, make sure you get your essentials before getting settled as there are no shops within walking distance. I hope you find this review helpful.
