Stayed for 4 nights on this site. The site is very well run, lovely surroundings, and scrupulously clean. Lovely big field for ball games, duck pond, playground.
Quite sloping in places, but manageable. We were shown to our pitch. All the staff are really helpful and friendly. Shame the weather wasn't the same, as it was very mixed.
Only 1 small comment, we were disappointed by having to get a key for the showers, as the earliest time is 8am. My husband is an early riser, and likes to shower straight away. He found this a bit irksome.
All in all though, a very nice site. Can also recommend the pub called the Halcyon Quest in Gronant Road, especially if you like real ale. They had karaoke on Saturday 7 May, which we don't like, but we just sat outside in the garden area.

Lovely well run campsite very clean toilets and showers brilliant children's play area we loved the rules and cameras that is why the place is so good if only all campsites would be this organised then every camping experience would be a fantastic one and of course it cuts out the riff raff! The only downer was the noise from the road but by the second night we were used to it and didn't notice it!
A nice walk round to the duck pond as well (but we could only see two ducks!)
The area is great for children plenty to do on the doorstep we didn't have the weather at all but the girls loved it on the beach which is stunning (but windy!) the parks, the slots, rides, not far from rhyl either.
For the best fish and chips 'ever!' go to 8 station road Karls fish and chips which is only up the road pretty quick in the car next to spar!
We found the owners lovely and helpful at all times but make sure you have cash/cheque as they cannot take credit card.
We love trying new places but we will come back to this one no doubt in the future as it isn't that far from home!

Stayed here for 7 nights and had a wonderful time. The site is immaculate, showers and toilets very clean. Even though it was bank holiday and busy, the site was surprisingly quiet. Perfect for a relaxing holiday.
When we arrived we were shown to our pitch and assisted on. The owners even helped us to put up the awning!
Would definitely recommend this site to anyone wanting a nice quiet and relaxed break.

Lovely welcome and a choice of pitches. We were advised of road noise for lower pitches. Facilities clean as always and showers still 50p for 20 mins bargain!
Area is nice and campsite kept immaculate.Owners don't tolerate noise and foul behaviour a plus for us. The town now has a cinema and a tesco marks sparks and next are planned and will be in walking distance too. Lots nice bars around and take aways too

We visited this site over the August bank holiday for 5 nights, and it was very wet and extremely windy, The rear drive should not be used for caravan access as I had to reverse to allow the owner to get his mower through. The site is very popular and appeared full with all types of units, The site is well kept, with someone patrolling on a regular basis, the grass was mown when someone left, the bins were emptied when full, the toilets and showers were always spotless. Due to the weather visits were few, we went to Rhyl,to the mega car boot sale, and into Prestatyn town center and the beach, and to the waterfalls at Dyserth. There is a pub about ten minutes walk away,it is themed as kiddieworld, it was given a miss. We would like to visit this site when the weather is nicer, well worth a trip.

This site looks beautiful but this site does not feel friendly. We felt as if we were interrupting the day of the owners.
The showers were clean and tidy but 50p for 20mins.
By the time I'd got the key (£1 returnable), got to the showers, undressed, showered and redressed. It was close.
I even had to take the key back before I had a shave! as I'd be charged further if I over ran
Although there was a lot of spaces you are directed to the spots that they would like you to use.
The tents are close together too, I could hear the guy next door snoring :-0
We ended up next to the road and the noise is constant.
There was a play area for the kids and a field for families to camp in. This is the only area they are allowed to play.
It is strict, the list of rules you are given on paying is long.
It was £17 per night with 1 dog, 1 car, 2 adults.
Could be a wonderful site if they just relaxed.

We got back from Nant Mill yesterday, We had a wonderful 5 nights there, the site itself is beautifully clean, the grass is unbelievably well kept in comparison to other camp sites I have been to previously. (He doesn't mow the grass too early but does regularly, this is why it is so perfect under foot)
Most people have mentioned a warm welcome, and we did receive this but it was more luke warm than boiling hot, I think this is really because they don't want idiots on site and they just try to sus you out
The thing that I liked most of all was the type of visitor the site attracted, they were mainly families and everyone was incredibly friendly, I think the comprehensive list of rules and their vetting of visitors probably helped with this.
I would give 10 out of 10 for cleanliness and attention to detail for the whole site, the toilets/showers/dishwashing/laundry were all very well kept, the park was perfect for the kids and because many people have their van there for the year there is a nice sense of community, they certainly made us and our girls feel welcome.
The showers do seem to be a little bit of a problem with some reviewers but I found there to be plenty of time, although it would have been difficult for my wife to shower and dry herself and our two girls in 20mins. We never did this as we tended to shower on days out to swimming baths etc. Perhaps if we did need to spend longer because of the children they may have understood and allowed us a little longer, There are only 4 or 5 showers so they have to put some sort of measure in place.
All in all I would definitely recommend if you want a QUIET break, for us it was perfect but if you want anything more lively its probably not for you.

Having recently upgraded from a tent to a trailer home, we decided to go away for a short break to test all things out. The owners fitted us in at short notice. The site itself is highly maintained, shower an toilet block very clean. There is a charge for the shower, which is pound deposit and then 50 pence.
There was a children's playground on site and surrounding area had plenty to do. Overall as much as we enjoyed the site we did find the owners to be not as approachable as the other comments stated here and didn't like getting woke up every morning by him mowing the grass. Sorry everyone this was just our opinion we just found it a bit strict but still enjoyed it!

We stayed at nant mill for four nights and had a great time. The owners were very helpful. I say this because we are new to caravanning and still learning the ropes - part of the awning fell down due to the wind and with us not being there the owner and a fellow camper put it back up for us. The site is very well looked after from top to bottom. It as a kids play area, a ball games field. The toilets are very clean. All in all a great site so we booked up for a week in august and I cant wait just hope the weathers better.

Spent a really nice 4 nights at this site, the weather was glorious which always makes camping easier. The site is immaculate and well maintained all tent pitches were flat and clean. The toilet block was very clean and were always well used. The charge for the shower is nominal (50p) and 20 mins is enough time for anyone to get a shower. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. We camped in the large field which was ideal for the children who thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Will definitely be going back for a few days in August.
