We have just returned from another wonderful stay here at Walnut farm, as before we received a warm welcome from Phil, Rachel and family. Our pitch was spacious and tidy, in fact phil was just cutting the grass after the last guest had left ready for us to go on. This site is always kept clean and tidy and the wonderful weather made our stay perfect, plenty of evening BBQ's. Great to see all the children out playing.
The beaches are only minutes away and we had a great day on the broads, to be honest with the weather as good as it was we didn't need to go any further. The farm shop and butchers at Ingham and post office store at Sea Palling mean you can get most things that you need.
Cant wait to return next year, in fact we have already booked as this is a small site and gets booked up quickly.

The site is in a nice location, well away from the road. The pitch we had was huge and had its own tap. Although the site was pretty full for most of the time we were there I never had to queue to use the toilets. The only negative I could say would be about the toilets/showers. There are 3 shower rooms which have a toilet in and 1 toilet on its own. This could tend to tie up facilities that arnt being used but like I said I never had to queue. Maybe they could do with a bit of an upgrade.
The site owners are really friendly and helpful. People have stated they weren't around all the time. Couldn't really comment on this as we were out and about most of the time, but on occasions I did notice a sign on the office door with contact numbers on so I think this is nit-picking.
There are some lovely beaches within 10 min drive.
Small shops nearby and big supermarkets in nearby stalham prob 15 min drive away.
All in all thoroughly enjoyed our 6 night and will def be back

Just returned from a 4 night stay at Walnut Farm. This site is in a great location. Within driving distance of all the popular attractions. The village of Sea Palling is a 5 min drive and has a general store/post office, café and fish & chip shop. Also within driving distance is fabulous farm shop and a local butchers.
There is a great dog walk which goes around the surrounding fields and is approx 2 miles long.
The site is small with only 20 pitches and the facilities do not allow for the site being full during the holidays. There are only 3 showers for the whole site. During my stay these were not cleaned at all and the rubbish bins were over flowing. This may not bother some people but I think that this lets down the site tremendously.
Also the owners were noticeably absent for most of our stay and I think this along with the lack of cleanliness put a bit of a dampener on our stay.
I hope on our next visit that the cleanliness improves as overall this site is very good value for money.

We have just had our second visit to Walnut Farm and as before it is a fantastic site.
The owners can't do enough for you, our electric hookup was too short and they supplied us with an extension. They have a few basic items to buy, I found the bacon was really good and at a £1 for 4/5 slices I didn't bother getting it at the supermarket.
The pitchs are well spaced with plenty of room for the children to play without bothering anyone. The children all got on really well and had a great time, often not wanting to leave the site!
The bathrooms are basic and clean but plenty of room for a family to shower, don't forget your £1 though
The area around the site is lovely with plenty to do without going far, there is a beach next door where we saw seals swimming just yards away. Lots of little farm stands and the best homemade fudge to buy at Seapalling.
With out a doubt we will be back next year.

What a lovely site. Everybody is so friendly and helpful. Easy to get to, pulling a large caravan. The shower and toilet block is always kept exceptionally clean and tidy. They are heated in the colder months. A washing up area is in the block too.
There is even a small selection of Shampoo's etc to use if anybody forgets theirs. The dog walk trail is great on a lovely day. About 1. 5 miles long, it goes along the perimeter of the arable land, taking in a small river section.
Camp is in the ideal position to travel south toward Gt Yarmouth, or north to Cromer etc, therefore, large supermarkets are never too far away.
The peace and quiet was what the doctor ordered, and we had a brilliant week, and wouldn't hesitate to return in the future.

Just returned from our 2nd visit to this site the first one was last year. We loved the peace and quiet last time and had a really good time. This time even better, shower block has been improved from our last visit, really bright and clean. The family looking after the site are so helpful and happy and all the children were playing around the site together, but still really peaceful. We visited the seals at Horsey Gap and saw about 100 seals on the beach, a great sight. Had a really good weekend for our first trip out this year and we will be back to this site as many times as we can this year. All pitches really well spaced out and a really peaceful and relaxing site.

We have just returned from a holiday at Walnut Farm;. And we will be going back for more than one holiday asa p. What a lovely site, run by a truly lovely family. Nothing is too much trouble, the showers and toilets are cleaned scrupulously every day, the little shop, at reception has all the basics at very good prices.
We never saw the family without a smile on their faces, and a kind word for all. When the office was closed, the family were still there for us. You just had to ring the bell!
Well done, guys, we loved our stay with you

Just returned from visit 11 and will be going back again. Family run caravan park. Excellent pitch sizes, owners friendly and helpful. Centrally located for easy of travel to lots of local sites of interest. Very pet friendly. You will enjoy the dog walk, even if you don't have a dog! Highly recommend this site.

Had a great time here. very quiet week. we had a lovely week here. the few people we met were nice and polite. the dog walk was the best I have seen on a camp site. the pitches are a decent size. had no complaints at all. was a bit of a job to find, thank goodness for the sat nav. if the showers were more modern I would give it 10 out of 10 although they were clean

After driving from North Yorkshire we were looking forward to our 4 night stay at Walnut Farm. When we arrived there the main office was closed, but our location on the site was on the door, and a message saying when the owners get back they will come a see us, we never saw them.
All the pitches were full, which is a good thing.
The toilets, showers, and washing up area are all in one room. The washing up are was always clean.
To have a shower you must use the £1-00 machine to get hot water, I thought this was a bit much. You get one shower and a toilet per room, so if you, are having a shower no one can use the toilet, there is one toilet not in a shower room.
The shower rooms are old and dated, one of them has mould growing on the ceiling which is not a good thing, as the extractor fan was not working.
The shower block does need updating, it's not a nice thing To go for a shower and the smell of another person is there after they have used the toilet.
The owners never did come and see us.
The site itself was a good one, and well situated for the surrounding areas.
