We have just returned from a week on this lovely quiet site, If you want peace and quiet this is the place for you!. We were greeted on arrival and shown to our pitch, the location of everything was explained to us and we were made to feel very welcome. The field we stayed on had a very high hedge which helped to cut out the wind. There was lots of space between the vans and easy access to water / electric points etc. Reception was also selling the basics, although the nearest village had a shop / post office. There is a nice walk around the fields (about 1. 5miles) with plenty of nature to see. Although not used, the site toilets and showers were clean and tidy although a bit of an update might be needed.
We will certainly be visiting this site again, lovely

Can't wait to return to this fantastic, friendly site. The owners were so helpful nothing was too much trouble.
The pitches are all so spacious and very level which was great and the shower/toilet block was regularly cleaned.
There is a lovely walk around the farm with great views and the beach at Horsey only half an hour walk away and we got to see plenty of seals.
The beach at Sea Palling is lovely and has a fish & chip shop/café and small amusement arcade.
There is plenty to see and do around the area and I would highly recommend this site as an ideal location.

What a great site - lovely views, nice people. We really enjoyed our stay there and can't wait for our next visit. Our dogs loved the walk around the farm although our Cocker spaniel managed to go in the canal where she couldn't get out and had to be Rescued- no surprise there!
Lots of places to eat nearby and although we knew the area very well we still found places we hadn't been to. Lovely beaches close to farm, great for dog walking or just walking. Saw lots of sea birds and seals.
Can't recommend enough.

Just home from a lovely 10 night stay at walnut farm Rachael the owner was lovely and very helpful. The site is lovely very clean great big pitches and a brilliant 1. 5 mile dog walk. The showers cost £1 but last for 10 minutes plenty of time for two showers and they were cleaned every day, there are 3 washing up sinks with free hot water but there are no laundry facilities which would have been nice particularly on a long stay. The beach is about a 20 to 30 minute walk away at waxham sands where we saw about 100 seals on one particular day which was a delight to see as they all launched into the sea. Sea Palling is another beach but you need to go by car, there is a cafe which serves a brilliant pot of tea for 90 pence plus loads of other hot and cold food and icecream etc, if you like a walk you can walk there on the beach from waxham sands it takes about 45 minutes. We hired a day boat while we were there and explored some of the norfolk broads which was nice. I hope this review will be helpful in choosing your holiday

Had a week at this lovely site in June.
The layout of the site is great, with plenty of space for everyone. There has been some thought gone into the layout. Pitches were of a good size and it was nicely landscaped.
It was excellent value for money, with no additional charges for awnings or dogs.
Owners were friendly and nothing was too much effort. We asked about boat trips on the Broads, and one telephone call later had all the information we needed. It was nice to be greeted by our names, and given a warm welcome.
The site was very clean, and had a fairly long driveway to get to the pitches. Didn't hear the road noise at all.
We were told about the dog walk (no dogs with us on this occasion) however it was an enjoyable walk taking you up to the river and back in a 1. 5 mile circle.
We had read about the sausage rolls, detailed in a previous review on here, from the farm shop about a mile or two from the site - worth a visit. Also brought some excellent quality steak for the BBQ that evening - worth a visit! Tesco's could be found 6 / 7 miles North of the site.
The beach at Sea Palling is nice, although car parking charges are a little off putting. There is a car park on the right in a small enclosure on the left handside of the approach to the beach which is cheaper if you're planning to stay all day. Alternatively there is another car park with easy access to the beach (turn left out of the site and there's a turning on the left hand side as the road veers to the right - its not sign posted as a car park)
We had one very minor issue - the showers and toilets were located inside the cleaning up area. It was slightly off putting. However at the time of our visit they were doing some building work in the same block, so appears that they could be separating the showers & toilets from the washing up area.
Overall this is a site which we would definitely return to again without hesitation.

What a fantastic site.
Totally chilled our weekend, with little noise and very friendly campers.
The owners are very friendly, and the booking in was painless.
It is located in a peaceful area with miles of unspoilt beach to explore. We saw over 30 seals on a 3 mile walk along the coast.
The only thing to improve on, would be direct access to the beach through the site - as its literally 1/4 mile away, yet to get to the beach you have to either walk 30 mins out of the site and along the road, or drive.
However, I would highly recommend this site. Its virtually perfect.
Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Really nice small friendly site. Owners are really friendly and helpful. This was our first time with a caravan but got lots of help. Beach is a short drive away and was nearly deserted. Small toilet/shower block basic but always clean. Very good value for money no extras for dogs or awnings. So many nice places nearby. A really relaxing holiday. Nice dog walk round site. Enjoyed drive to walcott and sitting in car on prom watching waves crashing over with fish and chips from Kingfisher. We will be coming back soon.

Lovely quiet level site with very clean showers and toilets. The site owners are very friendly and helpful. This is a site to spend a quiet weekend or a week away.
A short drive to a blue flag beach at Sea Palling. On the way there be sure to call in at the farm butchers that sells the largest sausage rolls and homemade burgers, sausages and pies. You also pass a farm shop selling homemade produce. The nearest supermarket is in Stalham 5 miles away.
If you drive in the opposite direction you can find Horsey Gap where seals bask on the sand and Horsey Windmill a national trust property.

We stayed at Walnut Farm over the Easter break.
Lovely place to get away from it all and just chill, beautiful beaches, Horsey down the road and Sea-Palling a few miles away.
Lovely owners too, so helpful and friendly without being overpowering!
Super pitch, super clean, showers good, not the most up to date, but however super clean and did the job.
Looking forward to visiting again soon (booked) already !
Make sure you have enough wine, and of course food! No shops at hand, that's the lovely part of staying at Walnut Farm, away from the Rat-Race! Lovely!

We stayed at this site over the b/h weekend, after driving through snow showers on the way here we were a bit worried whether we had done the right thing
As we drove up the long driveway to the reception area we were pleased that we made the decision to stay here, The owners greeted us and showed us to a sheltered area on the park
The park is located near to the coast and to the Norfolk broads The site is quiet, very well laid out and screened with hedging
Toilets and showers were always clean tidy and very well presented having been updated recently, the shower rooms were very spacious and heated
Washing up facilities were very good and kept clean, hot water and washing up liquid was supplied
The owners of the park were very friendly and made us feel very welcome we thought this site was very good value for money and we will be making the journey back to stay here but hopefully in better weather conditions next time
