We have just spent the weekend here and it is a lovely site. We were greeted by friendly staff, found our own pitch nice level grass but there were plenty of hard standing too. Toilets and Showers were clean with plenty of hot water. The whole site had a lovely atmosphere.
Great new playground for the kids, with enjoyable walking nearby - we have really enjoyed it!

Joined the caravan and motor home club and so glad we did. On arrival staff were so friendly and helpful. Pitches were very large. Toilets, showers a pleasure to go into and lots of hot water. More expensive then some sites but well worth it, and we only use the site as a base. Ideal if you like golf which we do or biking around Nene park. We will try the biking when I get my biking legs like sea legs going, haven't been on a bike for 30 years sooner walk. Lovely down along the river with all the boats.

Easy access from A1, mostly hard standing, toilet block large and spotless, very green and treey.
Wardens helpful and smiley, they seemed to enjoy their jobs.
Lakes wonderful for walking / cycling / miniature railway / cafe / boat hire / kids areas. Walks along River Nene and NVR easily accessible.
Nene Valley Railway next to site so a day out is easy and unlike a lot of these preserved lines it's prices seemed good.

Ferry Meadows is a large site and maintains the usual Caravan and Motorhome standards. We were near the end to a Grand Tour visiting friends and relatives from 8 sites. We found Ferry Meadows too big and felt somewhat hemmed in by trees and number of caravans, pitches were however spacious. Disliked the need to enter 6 digit security code to gain access to all facilities. TV poor, WiFi was a disgrace categorised as a 'gold' site. Best speed we were able to get was 0. 9Mbps, checking the description C&MC say speeds are down at peak times, I checked at 5am and there was no improvement! With two golden retrievers we thought the dog walking would be good, we found it difficult having to navigate through the bikes, joggers and children's outings to reach the dog walk. Nene Park is however a beautiful park and obviously very popular. We'll however give it a miss next time!

Lovely spot, I wish I owned it, open all year spotlessly clean everyone said hello, hard standing pitch near to the toilet block, walked to Peterborough and back just over 1 hour each way, 2nd day walked around the lakes nice little stretch of the legs and then we walked along the river with all the boats, I would think this place gets busy in the summer, the site was pretty full for October

Warm welcome received at reception which is always nice, lovely big site with pitches on either side of a road, we always choose the west side, toilet blocks very clean and always to a high standard, would like music in the toilets if possible as some sites have, plenty to do here, lovely bike round the park or nice ride into Peterborough on your bike along the cycle track, would definitely recommend this site.

A one night convenience stop brought us to the Caravan Club at Peterborough. What a great location!
Country Park on the doorstep with an abundance of outdoor activities; lakes with sailing and kayaking, walking (dog friendly) and traffic free cycle routes. Steam train just down road from site. Fantastic site for active families.
Huge site split in two areas by road servicing the Country Park to general public. This has clearly caused a problem and Caravan Club has warning notice on its web site advising to take additional security on valuables and bikes. The Club has engaged security staff at entrance, and a second manual gated system in addition to site barriers!
The site itself is up to the usual Caravan Club standards with its facilities blocks, large spacious pitches and great play area for the kids (again very much a family friendly site).
Security issues aside, great site and location and will definitely be back for a longer period and will be bringing along the grandkids for some added fun?

Stayed here for 3 nights in July this year. Lovely welcome at reception. Good facilities, fabulous large playground for the children and the tent field was large and spacious so you didn't feel you were encroaching on other people. Would thoroughly recommend and will definitely go back again. The chip van is a bonus after setting up camp instead of cooking and Ferry Meadows park next door is lovely.

Access to the site is very good and on arrival we were greeted by security staff who took our name and booking prior to entry. I am informed that this was due to previous years when some ne’er-do-wells tried to get on a full site without any booking. Good planning on the Caravan Clubs part!
The site was fully booked and on my arrival I was presented with what little options were left to site my caravan but this was no drama. The site is split into East and West sides. The East side has the new play park which was very popular with families as expected and therefore there were no pitches left on this side. Again this was no drama and in all honesty I preferred the West side. It was quieter and there were still kids with whom my kids could play with. Pitches on the East side were grass in the majority and broken up between tree-lines. Because of this each section appeared to have a bit of a rally feel to it. There are pitches for tents and these looked fairly level.
The site on the whole is pretty level. I was on a hard standing pitch so had no issue with needing leveling blocks. The pitches were spacious and well laid out.
Each side of the site has one toilet block and were well maintained and clean. I had no issues with queuing despite the site being full. The toilets have security codes to stop every man and his dog using them.
Some of the wardens were miserable and they came across as being disinterested in human interaction. I don’t know if they were stressed out but it seemed the simplest of conversation or inquiry was too much for them. There was more huffing and puffing than the proverbial wolf! Maybe it’s time for a relocation or career change not involving people. This was not expected and somewhat disappointing as I have not experienced it before on a club site. It was also not exclusive to one occasion either. If nothing else folks at least lose the bad attitude!
There is a lot to do in the immediate vicinity and in the general area especially if you are an outdoor person. Despite the unpleasant staff I will visit again.

Fantastic site, situated right next door to a country park, with 3 kids play parks, lovely dog walks,
The site has just has a brand new top of the range play park, it was the official opening this weekend, and my little boy couldn't get enough of it.
It as a chip van Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, a bit pricey but ok for a 1 off, also has a ice cream van come round in the evenings around d 7 pm, again a bit pricey but for a 1 off all ok
We have visited 4 times and will be visiting again this year,
