Lovely site with two separate camping fields. One is mainly grass and when we stayed it was burnt dry with lack of rain. Plus it didn`t seem as nice as the other side and was quite sloping. The other side is much more like the usual CC sites. Some pitches are larger than others so you have to look around. The pool is very small and not suitable for an adult swim but the children loved it. We did not eat in the restaurant but the food looked good and was reasonably priced. The entertainment was excellent for children but we felt went on too late, as sometimes it was 10. 30 when it finished. Our pitch was fairly close and as they had the doors open we could hear all the entertainment until late in the evening. I think children`s entertainment should finish at 9pm and then perhaps some adult music.
We would still return to this site though and the proximity to the beach is good and is a lovely sandy one where you will find crabs in the rock pools which the children loved.

Easy site to find, good sized pitch nicely marked out and very clear pitching instructions, being atop a cliff it can be a bit exposed so make sure you pitch well, I did see a tent in the bin the morning after a stormy night. Had a lovely time here with a real mix of weather. Toilet blocks were spotless plenty of hot water and good facilities my only criticism would be that there could be somewhere to change / dress baby in the family shower rooms. Would certainly recommend.

This has to one of the jewels in the clubs portfolio. Situated between Cromer and East Runton, minutes’ walk from the beach, not only has this site got all the facilities we have come to expect from a club site but also an outdoor swimming pool and licensed club house. Accommodation is a mixture of hard standing as well as grass pitches with an additional area for tents. Facilities are well maintained and include the usual toilets / showers, laundry, dish washing (which are all located in a relatively new building), chemical disposal and motorhome waste dump. There is also a children’s play area as well as a fenced dog walk. The wardens are extremely friendly and helpful, always having time to talk (even when we arrived after reception had closed). Sadly being October, the outdoor pool was closed. The club house serves meals as well as doing take-a-ways, my wife even asked for the minted lamb as a take-a-way which was served on a normal plate covered in cling film so it could be taken back to the van.
As I’ve already said, the site is minutes walk from the beach; head east and you’ll end up in Cromer with its life boat museum, head west and you’ll past West Runton before ending up in Sherringham with its steam train. Both are worth a visit.
Will we be back – most definitely yes so I can try out the pool!

Just returned from a one week stay. We have not stayed before but have used caravan club sites for the last 12 years. It is rather difficult to leave a totally truthful review as it was Cromer carnival week when we were there and to be honest the noise in the surrounding area was very loud, which I suspect would not be the case had it not been carnival week.
A travelling fun fair was situated a few hundred yards away and until 10.30pm every night the noise levels were very high. This may be worth investigating if you wanted to stay in the height of the season as it certainly spoilt one or two of our evenings sat outside the van.
The site itself is not up to the usual standard of club sites. Grassed areas slightly unkempt, cleanliness not the best, very poor dog walk (more like a small back garden) and office/info room not open until 10. 30pm.
The pool was lovely and a real added bonus, however next to it is the club house and again the noise levels were very high. Don't get me wrong we are not stuck in the mud bores who don't want an enjoyable holiday, but this for us and our two teenage daughters was a little to much like a noisy butlins.
We would not return during carnival week, but may consider a quieter period of the year as the site location is excellent.

Stayed here the first week of the summer holidays and had a fantastic week of weather. The site is ideally located for both Sheringham and Cromer, the latter being a ten minute walk away. The site caters very well for children with a pool and evening entertainment, although the entertainment does need freshening up a little. The site has all the usual Caravan Club facilities with the toilets and showers always clean. The pitches are well laid out affording plenty of room. The bus stops directly outside the campsite making all the coastal towns very accessible. We had a great time made all the better by having a full week of sunshine.

I really love Cromer and visited many times as a child with my parents. I visited here again with my children and we plan to go back again and again and would definitely stay at this wonderful site again. It has everything you would want, there is plenty to do to keep the whole family happy and the people were very nice and friendly.

We spent 4 nights on site. Having arrived late on the first night we had 'hobson's choice' of pitch, but were (very helpfully) allowed to move the next morning as other pitches became vacant; fell very lucky with a hard-standing with a hedge border.
A top quality site with all you expect of a Caravan Club site with the added bonus of a clubhouse and outdoor pool.
We ate in the bar twice and can recommend the quality, selection and price of the food.
The bus stop outside the main gate offered regular coastal services to Cromer, Sheringham and beyond. East Runton is an easy walk and boasts shops (one a 'Spar') and a couple of pubs.
Loved Sheringham, but but we found Cromer tatty by comparison, although it boasted a big supermarket (if you're that way inclined)and an hourly train service to Wroxham (and the Broads) and Norwich.
We shall definitely be returning.

This was our first trip out with the van this year. And was pleasantly surprised with the site.
The wardens and staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The toilet and shower facilities were always spotless. Some pitches are on a slight slope, but it's not a problem. With a bus stop outside, you have easy access to all coastal areas, from Cromer to Hunstanton. The bar and restaurant were very good with good food served and reasonably priced. Apart from the weather we had a great week and will certainly return.

This site is in a great location only a few minutes' walk from a pebbly but dog-friendly beach and about 20 minutes' walk from Cromer. Cromer is an old-fashioned seaside resort and if you want more going on you'd be better at Great Yarmouth just down the coast, but it's convenient for the Broads and for a relaxing break in itself.
As is usual for the CC the facilities are immaculately clean and there is the rare bonus of an on-site clubhouse serving good quality meals, with some evening entertainment available, a pool table and a small swimming pool. We weren't blessed with good weather but can imagine that North Norfolk is a great place for a traditional family holiday if you're lucky enough to see the sun.

Our stay was for 4 nights over the 2011 Christmas period. We were extremely lucky with the weather which stayed dry and warm for the time of year. On Christmas morning I took Scruffy for a walk on the beach in just a rugby top and jeans, very pleasant.
Reception: Lovely couple who look after your every need, newspapers available. Both the wardens and Sara who was in charge of the kitchen did and excellent job, which they all obviously enjoy doing. The wardens will soon be moving to Clumber, which will be Cromers loss.
Pitch: Hard standing, good sized super pitch with all amenities. Some pitches are enclosed by hedges.
Facilities: Absolutely spotless. Warm shower/toilet block with well powered showers
Dog walk: The dog walk is quite small. I preferred to turn left out of the site, down the hill and then right to the beach. The beach is sandy in places, rocky in others but a dog haven. Scruffy loved it and could`nt wait each morning.
Pubs: There is a god bar on site that serves excellent meals. We were lucky as we were booked in for Christmas, an excellent 6 course meal which was not rushed and which everyone thoroughly enjoyed. The bar has entertainment and an excellent bar meal menu. There is a pub at the bottom of the hill and several in Cromer (10 minute walk)
Cromer: About 10 minute walk into town which is not too big and not too small. Plenty of shops, pubs, cafes etc. The Pavilion Theatre is on the pier and very popular.
Local Transport: There is a bus stop outside of the main gates which takes you up and down the coast. We did not use it but others told us that it was a good service.
Play Area: There is a play area which looks adequate. There is also a heated outdoor pool.
To put it in a nutshell, this is a wonderful site, made all the more enjoyable by Alan and Julia, the wardens, who I believe will soon be moving to Clumber. We will definitely be returning, maybe take in one of the shows on the pier in 2012.
