Just returned after a week on this site. Facilities excellent, as you would expect on a Caravan Club site. It was full more or less all the time, with travellers coming and going, but the showers and toilets were always available with no queues. Unusually for a Caravan Club site, is that this one accepts tents.

Would definitely use this site again.

The site is impressive with a heated outdoor pool and a brand new clubhouse with good food and entertainment. The food was really nice (not the cheapest but good quality and plenty of it).

The showers and toilets were the best I have seen, absolutly spotless and the showers had individual temperature controls - luxury!

My only complaint was the evening entertainment. It was so loud! We were at the far end of the site and could still hear every word of the singer from inside our caravan. Im not an old fogey but its not the kind of thing I expect from a caravan club site - most people go there for a bit of peace!

My wife and two children stayed at this site for 9 days and could not have chosen a better site. They loved every minute there. This site has everything you would need for a family holiday, 'NEW' toilet and shower blocks, outdoor swimming pool with life guard, clubhouse with full entertainment in the summer months, bar and games room, full menu for food to eat in or take away, great staff and wardens, childrens play area. Bus stop outside the site, Cromer 10 minutes walk, beach 5 minutes walk. Large supermarket 5 minutes by car. What more could a family want? We will be booking to go again next year. Well done The Caravan club.

We stayed at this site in july and had 2 sunny weeks !

Great site for family's great club house immaculate toilet blocks friendly staff, the site is on a gradient so leveling blocks will be needed. The enclosed pitch`s around the perimeter look great but are very tight with an awning up and a struggle to get on and of if you have a twin axle van ( we saw 2 motor movers pack up). Also be aware that there is no freeview reception at all on the site even through the tv hook up points,so its only 4 channels, but apart from that close to cromer and sheringham and plenty to do.Recommended

What a great site in a great location.

My boys loved the outdoor pool. It wasn't massive but felt safe with a lifeguard on duty.

There is a club and restauraunt, with a games and relaxation area next to it. The entertainment is family orientated, and we particularly enjoyed the quiz night. Don't be put off by a club on site, it is tastefully done. The restauraunt is fine, but a bit disorganised when we visited. It had not long opened, so will hopefully improve with time.

The toilets were up to the usual caravan club standards, with a lovely toddler bathroom. When you book in ask for a key. You will have to leave a £10 deposit for the bathroom key and the security barrier fob.

The pitches are a bit of a mixed bag. Some of the grass ones are very poor, so try to arrive there early and get a hardstanding. There is also a row of hardstanding 'super' pitches, with waste, water and electric included. These are also bigger than the other pitches.

The head wardens were the nicest couple we have met on a club site. They are so friendly and helpful.

Sheringham, a couple of miles away was our favourite place to visit. We recommend 'Straits' fish and chip shop on the main street. Not the cheapest, but the best I've had in ages. We also had an excellent Indian meal in Holt, about 10 miles away inland.

The site is a short walk away from Cromer, so no need to take the car. We all enjoyed the pitch and put on the way in, very reasonably priced with glorious views out to sea. There is a fun land train which takes you around the town which my boys loved. You catch it by the pier theatre and try to plan it on the way home, so you dont have to walk up the steep hill to the top car park en route back to the site.

The nearest supermarket we used was Morrisons, on the main road in to Cromer.

We really had a great holiday and will certainly return.

Tipped up here on Thursday to a very clean site. Myself and my wife came with the in-laws who took their caravan. We had our Khyam Kansas 8. Booked in and was pointed towards the tent field. Very large, clean and well maintained. The kids excellent climbing and play area is also located here at the front of the field.

We got a great pitch at the top of the slight slope looking back down the field towards the reception building and had pitched and unpacked withing 45 minutes or so.

We then went to find the in-laws and made sure they were OK before we went on the site walk. Plenty of spaces for caravans of all shapes and sizes. Hard and normal pitches and water and waste facilities well spaced out.

There is one exceptionally clean toilet / shower block which also houses a disabled toilet, baby changing room, mini-laundrette and washing up / vegetable preparation area. First class facilities there.

We also checked out the outdoor heated pool which has a friendly lifeguard on duty at all times as well as a smaller kids splash pool.

The bar inside was nice and a few arcade machines at the back. A large plasma screen also had one of the music channels playing. There is also nightly entertainment on if you want it.

Reception then backed on to that which kept basics such as milk, butter and bread and also the best double yolk eggs I've had. Brilliant.

The surrounding area is great. Turn right out of the campsite and about a mile outside is Cromer on the North East Norfolk Coast. Plenty of little shops, fresh fish and great fish and chip shops nearby. Easily walkable by adults, but probably a little to far for the under 10's. If you turn left though and walk for five minutes to the Greek Restaurant in East Runton and then turn right there and down a steep road you will come across a great beach with lovely sand, rock pools with crabs, some fish, amoebas, shrimp and other things, so take a bucket and net. Theres also plenty of other places nearby such as Fellbrig Hall, Baconsthorpe Castle and Sherringham Park.

Only downside is the tent field backs onto the main coast road into Cromer, and that if feels a little tacked on the side. So theres no Electric Hookups nearby and they charge 50p per ice block per day to freeze them for you. Wireless access (if you want it) was expensive as well.

Overall a site worth 8/10 stars. I will be returning for another long weekend.

I had found this caravan/camping site on the internet, and booked via phone with no problems. After reading previous comments I was a little dubious as reports were conflicting (however nothing ventured, nothing gained). On arrival Hubby booked in, bought top up gas, and acquired key fob (for car) .On looking around the playing field, I thought initially there would be no room, but looks can be deceiving. We pitched our tent not too far from playing area (opposite dog walking area) .Lots of bushes, nettles separating so pretty private.

n the distance I could hear the cars (as field near main road) but did not deter me. Noise was minimal. I had my son & niece with me ,they loved the play area. This was a Godsend! The shower blocks were amazing always clean, always hot water. Ventured into the clubhouse a few nights. Nice atmosphere. Staff pleasant, entertainment varied (mostly aimed at under 10yr olds). A games room / t.V. / pool table / slot machines, adjacent for teens which was always full!

There was a pool attached which my niece used the once during course of a week. It rained a lot but I could imagine if it was hot it would get over crowded very quickly. Not really a pool for swimming, one more for splashing around and cooling down.

The park is a stones throw from the beach which is handy and near Cromer (If you have kids I recommend going to Cromer & painting your own pottery. It was great for a rainy day& fun!)

Overall I thought it was a pleasant site. Friendly. Clean. Well run .A 7/10. Would return. I was surprised that there was not a shop on the facilities to get the odd pint milk/paper, bits and bobs. The nearest shop was down the road a 5 min drive away. There is a Morrisons in Cromer so great to get all essential things for BBQs! All campers were considerate on most part and all quiet after 11pm. We had a lovely week in the campsite. So would recommend.***

We had a great welcome on arrival and can't praise the cleanliness of shower / toilet facilities more. We are a family of 2 adults, 3 children aged 9, 6 and 2 plus a 5 year old springer spaniel.

Unfortunately, because this is a 'Caravan Club Site' then tents will always be a poor second cousin, relegated to the very sloping, rabbit holed field next to the entrance to the site, which is basically the play area for the whole site. It has a fenced off play area and in the centre of the field 2 goal posts, where you will find mostly groups of 'hoodies-on-holiday' until after dark.

Another niggle we had was nothing to do with the site really but the fact that just up the road was the fun fair which was loud until 10:30pm.

We were led to believe that there was a 'shop' on site, in reality this is just the reception area which sells chocolate bars, ice creams, eggs, milk, camping gas etc. We recommend shopping at Morrisons (turn up Beach Rd to save getting tangled in the one way system)

The toilet/shower block/washing up/veg prep area is a fair walk from the tent field but in fairness they are absolutely clean, no qualms there at all, was a pleasure to use the facilities on site.

This site is so very well placed, no need to use your car to venture into Cromer, it really is just a short walk away. I believe we will return again in the future, but not in the near future while our children are still young

Site had a lovely swimming pool which our grandson really enjoyed, also it was a surprise to see a lifeguard on duty which we thought was a good safety aspect.

The toilet facilities were second to none lovely and hot and clean.

The full service pitches were worth paying a bit extra for as we had loads of space and didn,t feel overcrowded at all.

Cromer was walkable and a lovely place to visit and lots to do for a 6 year old.

The staff made you feel very welcome and wanted us to really enjoy ourselves thankyou to all the staff we will be back to see you.

We stayed on this site spring bank holiday week having booked in December last year. The pool and bar area were not open as they were being refurbished and we were advised of this in Feb this year. (we were advised due to be completed 4/7). The heated shower/toilet facilities are excellent and cleaned every day (there is also a mother and baby/toddler room with a small bath that was spotless). The kiddies play area was very popular. Its a nice walk into Cromer or East Runton.

The down side to this site is that it is very popular - as a result the 'better' pitches around the perimeter of the site which are hedged and allow more privacy are over used - the grass was none existent on most pitches, probably because they never have chance to rest! There has obviously been attempts to returf in some areas but lack of water has resulted in brown dying grass. Perhaps if they were to allow pitch allocation instead of a free for all when you arrive they could close some pitches to allow new grass to take hold and grow! Overall we had a nice holiday but don't think we'll rush to go back.
