We had an excellent time here. The location is excellent; only a short walk to the beaches or into Cromer with all it's shops and pubs etc and a reasonable sized Morrisons supermarket too. However, the pitches are very cramped (struggled to fit van + car + awning onto it) somebody commented that many don't conform with the club's reccommended size for a pitch? and by using the middle of the main grassed areas for pitching the feeling of being surrounded and in a tight squeeze is very real.
The kids enjoyed the small pool (which has a lifeguard on duty) and the evening entertainment on the few occasions that we went. Didn't experience any noise other than the fair but that went off at 11 p.M. Toilets, showers, washing and laundry facilities were all of the standard you expect from the club. The staff were on the whole very friendly and welcoming. We were greeted by millions of ladybirds and hoverflies on our arrival(but this was a freak invasion apparently?)and they stayed with us for the first week!
This was our first visit to the area and there is so much to do, beaches, pier, festivals and carnivals all kept the kids entertained. The beaches are dog friendly too. Cromer beach is superb when the tide is out and Wells-next-to-sea has one of the best beaches I've seen (although you do have a short walk to get to it) but if the tide is out you'll have a very long walk to reach the sea! We loved the surrounding areas and will hopefully return. It's a pity about the space on site, if the caravan club address this issue it would be the perfect site.

For the 5th time we returned to Seacroft, this time, after the building work was completed and more hard standing and service pitches available.
Ok so the weather was excellent which helps, but the wardens Niki, Gary, Elizabeth and Les, were superb with their smiles, chats, help, advice-the list is endless. Every morning, Niki walks her Dog around the site making herself available for anyone to approach her should they have a question a lovely reassuring gesture.
The swimming pool has either Lauren or her brother Guy watching over children and adults keeping them safe, both excellent at their work and both lovely to chat to with bags of time for you.
We managed to walk into Cromer in 15min, all be it we walked very fast to get to a shop before closing time, but a steady walk will take you around 25 mins. The Beach at a fast walk 5mins, 15 mins steady to East Runton left out of Seacroft. Toilet blocks central, spotless and warm, playing area not noisy refuse emptied twice a day and cleaned.
The surrounding area has Sandringham, Blakney, Sheringham, Motorbike Museum, Henry Blogg Museum, Mucklburrogh collection eg, Tanks, Planes, Doodlebug bomb Museum and shop, Norwich Town Centre an hour by Bus, caught right outside Seacroft as are the Busess to many other area's. The Beaches approached from either side after leaving Seacroft, both very near. Dog excecise area small on site, but over the road is a huge field and dogs allowed on the beach and in most shops and eating area's set out for owners with dogs.
Now the down side to this excellent site is the food, served in an excellent setting, new and clean and served by friendly staff, but my husband and I had 2 meals there, the first very greasy, the second one had to go back as it was cold, on its return, it was no better, my husbands was not nice, so we left the meals hardly touched and went to eat elsewhere. Meals very expensive for what they were and the entertainment was not good, singers especially poor I'm sorry to say.
We are going to return as the site is ideal and immediate facilities Caravanners and campers use are established and excellent.

I stopped at this sight for 4 nights and enjoyed it so much I extended it to 5.
This is the first time I had been away in the Peak season and this was the largest site that I have stayed at, so at first it was a bit daunting. There were 5 available pitches and the warden explained to me the best one to choose from. I managed to reverse the caravan into a decent size corner pitch on the lower field, which was quiter and felt more spacious.
We found the facilities to be excellent and really clean and the wardens were the friendliest we have met.
The pool was a realy nice extra in the warm weather and so was the club house. Although the site was busy, it was completely quiet by 10.30.

On arrival we went wow, everything was very new and clean, but we did have some gripes by the end of the week. There didn't seem enough ladies showers as pre-kids bedtime you often had to queue, probably not helped by the fact that this site takes tents. Many of the pitches were in very tight corners and perhaps at least 50% of them are sloped and would need lots of chocks.
The pool area is nice but don't be fooled by the map that says changing area - they simply mean the club toilets. On busy days they limit the number in the pool but have no method of rotating entry/exit so if you don't get in early you may not get in until late pm which seems very unfair-although we never ended up being the ones sat waiting. It was a shame that the club shut after lunch as this meant you couldn't even get a coffee whilst sat round the pool during the afternoons.
It is a long walk to a beach with buckets, spades etc, but seems a shame to take the car and pay for parking when so close. Consequently we never did the beach here.

We have stopped at this campsite a few times now, this is the first time when owned by the caravan club. It is an excellent park with lots of space for tents, plenty of toilets and showers and always hot water. The bar is now open at lunchtimes and after 5.30pm now serving food at lunch and night, reasonably priced at lunch too, from July there is also breakfast available. Entertainment was good we stopped mon-thurs and there was entertainment 2 nights we were there, Excellent Park would highly recommend.

My husband and I stayed at this site 15 years ago and went back again this weekend with our young family (one 7 and one 4 year old). The money spent on this site is very evident and the bar facility was good with nightly entertainment which was reasonable.
The toilet block was very warm, almost a bit too warm for a hot weekend and there was an adequate number of toilets and showers. However, there was only one soap dispenser for entire ladies loos which was empty for the whole weekend. I did report this to the site office after one day and they were apologetic but there was still no soap when we left 2 days later.
The tent field is very spacious and there is a good children's play area.
However, the main A149 runs right next to the field and it did feel like we were camped on the hard-shoulder of the M25 day and night. The tent field is not near to the toilet facilities and there is no lighting at all from the tent field which made night runs with small children to the toilet a bit of a nightmare. Make sure you take a potty!
We would not return to this site as it is expensive, the facilities are aimed at caravans and it was much better 15 years ago.

Stayed for 17 nights ,we had a fantastic time. Clubhouse and pool are great our 4 boys never complained once. Congratulations to the wardens and other staff for making the site a great family holiday venue with the usual 1st class cc facilities. Cant wait to return this august for another 17 fun filled nights.

This site has a variety of pitches and of course you take a chance on what you get when you arrive, there were some hard standings but these were all taken. The grass pitches had a type of mesh underneath so there should be little problem of the grass getting churned up, it was dry while we were there so we couldn't tell how effective this would be. Some of the pitches were in an open area, these seemed a bit tight when the awning was one side and the car the other, the neighbours seemed very close. Some of the pitches around the edge were in their own little enclosure and some of the others that were not were very sloping and you would need several blocks to make it level.
There's a small outdoor swimming pool (not of course open at this time of year).
The wardens were really friendly and helpful it was obvious they took pride in the site. The reception sells milk etc but there is a Morrisons at Cromer.
The dog walk is very small and consists of a few yards straight run by the field at the front. This said there are fields at the side of the site and if you go through the houses up the road from the site there is a network of paths where you can walk to West Runton and Sherringham. We did this and caught the bus back, there is a good bus service which runs right by the site.
The facilities are what you would expect from the cc nice and warm and very clean.
We would go to this site again but only because of it's good location. The cc have made a big fuss about the site when they bought it but I thought it falls short of being one of the clubs better sites, for me anyway.

Site was ideally located for buses into Cromer, Norwich etc, would advise anyone to get the train to Norwich though rather than take the bus - dogs are welcome on the trains and buses at no charge. Train station is behind Morrisons - the turning before Morrisons petrol station, even though we were told by the Wardens that the nearest station was miles away! Don't believe them either when they tell you it's only a 10 mins walk to Cromer, it's a good 20 minutes!
Bit disappointed after reading so many positive reviews about this campsite. Bar didn't open until 5.30pm so no lunches were served, no entertainment but by all accounts that was probably the best thing.
The site was however, very clean with good clean toilets and plenty of showers.
Dog walk was nothing to write home about, there is however a wonderfully huge field 5 mins from the site where dogs can run and kids can play footie without a care in the world!
Not a place that I would rush back to, though I'm sure in the height of the season things would probably have been very different.

What a gem of a site, excellent facilities, showers and toilets spotless at all times and so warm. Grandaughter loved the toddler and baby room with little bath toilet and sink. Some of the pitches on a slope so you will need blocks, club house on site served meals and drinks. Supermarket 5mins drive or a good 15-20 min walk
Bus stop right out side camp site. Would definitely use again.
