We were shown to our pitch which was in a really great location on the site.
The surroundings here are really lovely, and everybody was so friendly and helpful, especially when we had a little problem with our new awning !
The toilet block was very nice and clean, and the showers were free which was great !
The site was very clean and well kept, and all the facilities were above average.
The walks around the area were great for the dog and us ! We certainly enjoyed the place and wont hesitate to go back.

We went to this site last year, with our old folding camper, and what can I say, instantly loved it.
Arrived on site to a friendly warm welcome, and the warden/owner took us direct to our pitch.
The shop/reception building looked very new or refurbished, the site facilities were fantastic, nice sized pitches and in a great spot for Scarborough and filey.
The site was extremely maintained, the grass waws kept cut frequently. The shower blocks were very clean.
Also to our amazement we got a xmas card from the site! which we thought was a lovely gesture.
Highly recommended site

This was my first trip away on my own in my Autosleeper, being a brand newbie to camper-vanning, and I couldn't have chosen a nicer site to start off with. The owners were so helpful and the welcome so warm that I instantly felt at home.
It was a very busy sunny August weekend but the site did not feel too crowded and the facilities remained spotless throughout the weekend. There is a slight slope on site but I can't say it troubled me, though I was down at the bottom of the field.
There is a little shop on site which is very useful, and the security barrier gave great peace of mind to a ditzy female on her own. There are also great dog walks along the cliffs, or a fenced off dog exercise area on site.
All in all it was a lovely stay, and when a Christmas card arrived from the site a few weeks back I found myself smiling all over again. Recommended!

We visited this site for 2 nights September. Very friendly welcome, very very efficient site. High standards of everything very impressed. Security barrier controlled always in operation. Toilet and shower block immaculate and security controlled. Everything was just spot on. Even the Sunday Dinner that was cooking when we left smelt wonderful. Really nice site.
Plus if you needed your van towing into position nothing was too much trouble. The site even had recycling facilities.
The surrounding area is Filey, Scarborough etc, which you need a car to visit.
Nice site if the owners were in the peak district we would visit every weekend. Really nice site thank you for the attention to detail it makes a difference.

We have just returned from a lovely week at a lovely site. The site was immaculate, even when the rain fell hard the toilets and showers remained clean and the site did not become boggy. The pitches are a little sloping but the site warden pitched us with ease.
The toilets and showers are clean and hot, but may have benefited from additional showers in the ladies, they queued up easily!
There was ample space around the units and you did not feel hemmed in at all. The views (rolling hills) are amazing from all directions. There is a large area for children to play, our son didn't use this but only because he is in pot! Given the chance he would have been there! Not far from the main resorts of Filey, Scarborough and Bridlington. A very peaceful and relaxing site, visits for next year already planned!

Just back today (Aug 13th) from 4 nights at this site with my wife and our two 11 year olds. We booked from the reviews on this website and were not disappointed. Our booking was confirmed by post and also included was a list of site rules, please do not be put off by this as once we arrived and settled in you begin to see why these rules are in place. You are at a totally outstanding site, run by people that care about what they are presenting to you. Well kept grass, and a set of two immaculate toilet / shower blocks, a large area for children to play with balls away from caravans but not out of sight of parents. We received a warm welcome and the same on departure. We simply can not fault this site, location is spot on too. Summer circus and weekday boot sale nearby and central for Scarborough / Filey. We will return!.

Our favourite site on the North Yorkshire Coast so far, hence our return trade throughout 2010. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful and all the staff help keep the facilities immaculate. Always welcoming.
The site is nicely developed and pitches are very generous.
The toilet and shower blocks are as new and no queues even during the busy summer season.
The central grassed area provides a great space for the kids to play.
Information centre provides leaflets and suggestions for activities and a huge choice of take-away menus that deliver to the site.
The site is well placed for exploring Scarborough, Filey, Brid and further.

Lovely lovely site. Owners so friendly. From arriving and being assisted to pitch,on the gently sloping site. Shop has all those little things you need including some very tasty local produce, at a very fair price.
Within ten minutes walk you have a choice of 2 local pubs, the ox in lebberston (turn left at exit) or the bull in gristhorpe (turn right) both with good menus.
The facilities on site are to a very high standard with plenty of hot water in the showers (beware at the potwash it's scalding hot).
A mini recycling centre on site too to deal with all plastic glass and cardboard/paper very commendable.
A lovely peaceful site situated with glorious views over the pickering valley

Great site in an excellent location. Very handy for Scarborough, Filey, etc.
We had a little chuckle to ourselves when we remembered the review about the grass cutting when the grass on our pitch was cut as we waited to get on!
That said, the site was very well maintained. The toilet/shower blocks were immaculate. The only complaint there was that the hairdryer (there was only one) had to be fed 20p's and was not very good.
Some pitches afforded expansive views over the countryside.
There is a very small shop which sells essentials.
The friendly staff provide directions to the nearest supermarket and a parking 'permit' for use in Scarborough.
There is an adjacent dog exercising area.
Those with children should request a pitch on the lower half of the site where there is a large open area for children to play on.
All in all, a well run, peaceful site which we would not hesitate to recommend.

We have just had a few days at this site and it was so nice and peaceful. And all toilets showers and bathroom are so clean and fresh.
Great little shop with all that you need eg milk, etc. and the staff are all so helpful and friendly and lovely area for kids to play.
Bridlington and Filey not far, both with lovely beaches and great fish and chips. We hope to go back very soon
