An excellent site, we visit over and over again and haven't got a bad word to say about it! The facilities are immaculate, the family bathroom is particularly useful when the kids have been on the beach. The owners and staff are very helpful, if you have a problem they are there to sort it out for you immediately. You might find a cheaper site, but this site is definitely worth paying a little bit extra for. Spotless facilities, friendly, professional staff, peace and quiet, excellent playing field visible from your unit, so you can keep an eye on the kids from the comfort of your deckchair. Unless you're a dedicated walker, you will probably need to use your car to get around, but there are loads of things to do nearby - our kids love kite flying on top of Filey Brigg which is a cheap evenings entertainment! Excellent beaches at Filey, shopping in Scarborough, best of both worlds at Bridlington. No bar, disco, or amusements, which is a definite plus in my opinion - just a quiet, relaxing family holiday site.

We stayed at this site Easter 2007 and had a great time so here's my review of the site: Lebberston Touring Park is a mile or so off the main Filey to Scarborough road and about 2 1/2 miles from Filey where there are some takeaways that deliver to the site or you can bring the food back with you, I can recommend the New Kan Sam Chinese takeaway on the main street opposite the the small supermarket on Murray Street, the girl in the supermarket recommended it to me and I can recommend it to you too. Entrance to the site is by automatic barrier, an electronic key is supplied by the site for a refundable deposit of £10, there is a small shop in reception selling the basics with a fridge stocked with cold beers and wines, papers can be ordered for collection during your stay. The pitches are nicely spaced all with electric hook up and there is a big playing field for the kids (and parents) in the middle of the site, the site owners had put up 2 football nets and one swing ball to play with. The site is very peaceful and there was no noticeable noise from the playing fields. The 2 toilet blocks were very clean and although there are only 3 toilets and 2 shower cubicles (3 in the top block) I was never waiting for either, I presume people must use the facilities in their own caravan. We booked last minute and thought there was no chance of getting a pitch but the lady on reception said the bit where I was staying could get muddy and they only open it up during good weather. The site owners are very friendly, polite and helpful as are the wardens, someone shows you to your pitch and they even offer to put your caravan on for you with the tractor. For a surprisingly good home made meal walk for 5 minutes to the Ox Inn, I can highly recommend the food, better than most restaurants I have eaten in and half the price, you will need to book, don't just turn up on the night and expect to eat. There is a Morrisons supermarket 10 minutes drive away for all your shopping requirements too. This is my first review I have written on here and thought I should give something back as I have used it many times myself. Lebberston Touring Park 10 out of 10, I'll definitely be going back to the park and the Ox and the New Kan San. The Brown Room serves the best fish and chips in filey, eat in or takeaway, although it shut at 6:30pm at easter so check the times if you are wanting to eat there at tea time.

We have been going to this site for the past two years and enjoy the warm welcome we receive every time. You can totally relax in the peaceful surrounds, children love it. Would recommend to anybody. Everything is kept to a very high standard, close to Scarborough and surrounding coast line

Spotless, welcoming and friendly. The best site we have stayed at, very clean, showers and toilet block immaculate, and warm too. Very quiet and peaceful, just what we wanted. Dog friendly. Pub just down the road, literally 5 minutes walk away. We have booked already for two further visits, highly recommend to anyone.

Lovely peaceful site, clean facilities and all the essentials on site such as a small shop, dog walk area (for us dog owners) and free hot water, if I had to pick a fault it's that none of the pitches are fully serviced and some (but certainly not all) of the pitches are a bit on the cramped side if you have an awning up, however I can highly recommend this clean and quiet site very handy for visiting Scarborough and Filey.

May 2005 This was our first trip to a no-tent site since upgrading to our VW camper. We would highly recommend this site to anyone who wants to be near the coast but away from the large commercial sites. This site is very peaceful(even when full) but close to both Scarborough and Filey. The facilities are excellent and very clean and we were very impressed with the owners dedication to recycling (they even sorted through rubbish to remove recycleable items). There is a pub within easy walking distance and a large supermarket a short drive away. The shop on site sells essentials such as cold beers!

June 2004 What can I say about this site.
It's a brilliant site, you get a warm welcome everytime you go, very helpfulstaff. Clean toilets, showers and site. If you're going to Scarborough or surrounding areas stay here you wont regret it. Shop on site and information office where you can find a range of brochures of places to go and things to do.

May 2004 This was a lovely site that the whole family enjoyed staying at. For the 1st time ever Mrs Grinch didn't hesitate to jump in the shower (the fear of being cold or attacked by a spider web usually makes her very wary!). The camp shop and info point were very useful and there were plenty of things to do close by. This was our first time away with our dog and found the facilities on site excellent, as well as there being a 'dog friendly' beach at Filey. If we ever plan to come that way in the future we will DEFINITELY be wanting to pitch up here! PS apologies to the man who the dog ran into when he decided to do a rapid exit from his den whilst Mr Grinch was still half asleep!! Yes we agree - dogs should be kept on leads!!!

June 2004 This is a fantastic site, only 4 miles from Scarborough, 2 miles from Filey. The toilet, shower facilities are excellent, extremely clean and there is a constant supply of hot water. There is also a family bathroom.
There's a huge playing field for kids which can be seen from most pitches and a dog-walking area with lovely views. Definitely the best site I've been on!
