We stayed here for 6 night this August. A Great site with spacious pitches, great facilities for the kids and 2 pools the heated on was always busy but the other one was quieter.
There is a bar, restaurant, & takeaway on site that are reasonable priced. The reception staff all speak English and were very help full.
I would definitely recommend this site for a stop over or a longer stay.
There is fresh bread delivered everyday via a local baker that drives round the site and a super market less than 1 mile away.

Just returned, the facilities at this site are first class as good as any Caravan Club site in the UK and better than some.
The cost per night (circa £30. 00 for 2 adults and 1 child) was fair if you consider the facilities listed below and the general high standard of the site.
A Caravan Club site in the UK would cost the same without the extra facilities.
The site in general and the pools (1 heated)never felt too busy even though the site was near capacity. This is due to the spacious pitches and wooded nature of the site.
The shower blocks were spotless and of a very high standard, lots of hot water and free with UK style toilets.
The restaurant and take away food was reasonably priced and the food was of a good standard.
The staff were pleasant and helpful and spoke very good English.
There is a bouncy castle, well equipped children's play area, tennis court, multiple table tennis tables, basket ball / 5 a side football court.
There is a good sized supermarket about 3/4 mile, with St Omer about 6 miles away which has some great restaurants and the typical French hyper markets.
The gokarts at Planet Kart in St Omer are well worth a visit.
The WW2 V2 rocket site 'Blokhaus'is a 10min walk from the site and just incredible.
The aquarium at Boulogne Sur Mere is also worth a visit and the 45 min drive, don't take the motorway, save the toll and enjoy a pretty drive which is just as quick.
You will always be at the mercy of the behaviour of other campers i. E. Noise late at night. We did not experience any late night noise and would highly recommend this site.

We used this site for a one-night stopover at each end of our recent trip to the continent. It is certainly handy for the ports of Calais and Dunkerque.
We wanted a nice site with good clean facilities, and a pool to look forward to after a day in the saddle. This site ticks all the boxes, although we have paid less at other sites that also do.
Whilst relaxing in a chair before pitching I was asked by site staff to compress my outfit a little, as I had inadvertently used two (unmarked) pitches. I was therefore actually allocated an area approx 6m x 6m, which for my family of 5 and given the price we had paid, I would say is unreasonable.
One other thing we needed was a good night's sleep. This we did not get, on either occasion, due to the late night noise of other campers, and no site staff monitoring or controlling this.
We may return to this site as it has some appeal, but I will not use it again for a stopover.

This is the second time we have used this site as a stopover before returning to the UK. We have a dog and there is a vet in the village who is well versed in the passport requirements. Yes, you will pay over the odds for this site, but having said that it is consistently good. The sanitary blocks are spotless and modern. The staff at reception are friendly and helpful and there are really good facilities for adults and children. There are two good swimming pools, one appears adult only, a really good quality playground for the little ones and games facilities for the older children. We used the take away and restaurant and found it to be good value. They also have cold Ruby Leffe on draught, which we always look forward to. At about 0830, a van comes around the site, beeping its horn, selling really good quality bread and croissants, always served with a friendly smile. The pitches here are quite large and water and power are conveniently nearby. Some pitches slope a bit, but most are fairly level. There is a Carrefour supermarket nearby, with fuel and a giant Auchan store in St. Omer. There are a number of WW2 sites in the area worth seeing and even Bruges and Ypres
Are reachable in a day. Yes, you may pay over the odds for this site, but I don't think you will be disappointed.

First time at this lovely site and will definitely return. Very helpful and welcoming staff, facilities all very clean, spacious pitches, all in all a great site. Just one or two minor moans, none of the pot wash or clothes washing sinks had plugs. Wi-Fi not free but 3 euro for an hour, not bad as we used it over four days just to check e-mails so it lasted well. No shop on site but van calls each morning with bread etc. Just half hour to Calais for ferry makes it a very popular site.

Very accommodating and provided excellent email responses to questions
The reception is great and the on site restaurant was very reasonable and the staff really nice.
The pitch cost is a little high end but I think worth it for the clean facilities.
However (there is always a however) - I needed internet connection as I had some ferry crossing issues to resolve with the Caravan club
Their €3 per hour charge is extortionate and was the main dampener for our stay. €3 per day or €1 per hour would be palatable. Free would be better and is the way forward especially where their charges are already high end.
It is a shame as this is the only thing that let them down from our view. They really need to understand the internet requirements of the modern traveller. I will use the site again but will charge my French Internet 'dongle' with €10 next time as it is cheaper and I would be online for far longer.

Booked this site ahead of time as it was our first stop ahead of a long leg. We liked its informality and it did have some character. The welcome was very friendly. The loos and facilities exceptionally clean with plenty of cubicles, a point we were to miss at sites further down the road. If you have a dog the walk around the site is great. To us this site is a convenient and gentle way of spending your first night in France. The pool bar and restaurant looked very good but weren't open in April of course.

We stayed here on spec in August & September on our return journey. We were greeted in a very friendly and efficient way on both occasions which always helps. (It costs nothing to be nice)We paid 25 euros out & 15 euros on the return (no elec) which we thought a fair price given the facilities available. We can echo other favourable comments about the modern sanitary facilities, they were spotless on both occasions, plenty of hot water. It was a pleasure to wash breakfast dishes in the very clean sinks and not get water everywhere, or spraying into your face from old taps that are hanging off or not adjusted properly! The takeaway was good value & compares well to most other places. It had closed the week before on our return, but there is a Carrefour less than a mile away, so food was no problem. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and we will stay here again. It's a shame we spent so many other occasions at a certain site outside Calais that could learn a lot from here!

We stayed here on the way home from our 2 week tour of France incl Brittany, Le Mans and Disneyland. I pre-booked it (7eur booking fee - what's all that about??)
And it cost 35eur. Bit steep if you ask me. Dunkirk ferry port is about 25 mins away.
Facilities are ok, the wash block/showers were spotless and showers were nice and hot, even if they only stayed on for 30 seconds! and seemed to be cleaned very regularly.
We asked for a pitch next to the play area so were given a sloping grass pitch behind a wall next to the swimming pool.
We were warned about apples fallen from the nearby apple tree - no idea why these couldn't be cleaned up (flies buzzing and wasps got annoying)
Pool nice and play park / bouncy castle went down a storm.
Didn't try the restaurant and one fellow vanner stated the take away was poor (plastic tasting burger was the phrase.
Would I stay again?
Probably not due to the cost. 35 euros for one night was the most expensive on our trip. Even more than our excellent beach side site in South Brittany (Camping de la Plage) with water slides and hardly any 'British' tourists.

We booked this location for one unit originally but then the family wanted to come along also for the week. We contacted the site via email and they were very friendly and only to happy to accommodate us in our needs (one family member disabled and needing close unit to toilet block and two kids near playground)
Upon arrival we were not disappointed! They had placed us in the ideal location. The toilet facilities were immaculate, and this was pointed out by other visitors to the cleaners when they got the chance! There was always warm water to clean pots pans and wash.
There are two pools, one of which was heated and these were cleaned every night by the camp staff and were kept very neat and tidy.
There was a bar and restaurant on site, which also provided a decent take away service. A little pricey for drinks and so forth, but with the supermarket a 5 min drive down the road we tended to buy a crate of stubbies for 3 euro and this was more that sufficient.
Fresh bread van arrived every morning and it was lovely to have toast off the grill with fresh bread!
The children had a club to go to every day with some sort of organised activity for them and then every evening there was a tournament of some sort on camp.
There was some woods on site ideal for walking the dog / hide and seek and so forth and also a very well stocked kids play park and bouncy castle.
We will be going back again at some point in the future and recommend anyone wanting a short break in France, with not to much driving, visit this location.
